JUST TO REITERATE: I DID NOT UPLOAD THIS TO GO "PUBLIC" AS SOME HAVE ACCUSED, I HAVE SIMPLY UPLOADED THIS TO SHARE TO FELLOW DEPRESSION SUFFERERS, SO IT MAY BE ABLE TO HELP THEM IN TIMES OF NEED! The media got hold of this and blew it all out of proportion saying "stephen fry saved my life" I was not suicidal and had no intention of even thinking about it! Bloody media tries to make everything dramatic!!
Basically 2006 is when I was seriously suffering from depression and I felt so alone and as if nobody cared about me, I had no idea who to turn to. But I really needed someone to confide in and to and to ease the pain. So I wrote to Stephen Fry because he is my hero, and he has been through this himself. And low and behold, he replied to my letter, I will love him eternally for this.
I though that I would upload this to give other people suffering from depression a chance to read the letter which helped me so much during the deepest days of my depression.
May you all enjoy the day with your loved ones. Have a Happy Valentine's Day.(I know, it's a bit early for that) Alright everyone, go lovebend your heartstrings. Consider this a part 2 to my Christmas pic. And i know Mako's scarf is probably thicker in weave, but i made it silk-like for added effect. You can download/print it if you like. Link is to the right.
Aladdin for Part Two! This is the part where he's just taken Jasmine back from the carpet ride in the night sky, which is also one of the best scenes EVER! But that one intimate moment he has with Jasmine, it's kind of nostalgic in a way, and a kind of still peacefulness. Because to her, he's just opened her up to the 'Whole New World'
But man oh man, this challenge is ridiculously challenging I can't even keep up haha. Hope I can stick it out through til the end though. This one was definitely tough, because in all honesty, recreating a scene to incorporate my style but maintain the Disney-esque style is so hard!!! aiyah.

The Disney Valentines: I've decided to take on a bit of a (massive) challenge to celebrate the upcoming Valentine's Day. In retrospect, Disney's animated films have got, hands down, some of the most mesmerizing, unforgettable scenes that are just pwoahhhhhh. So I've decided to recreate these Disney scenes leading up to Valentine's Day over the next few days!
October, as you may or may not know, is breast cancer awareness month! So here's a sketch in honor of that.
My earliest watchers might remember my deviation to this cause from last year, in which I mentioned a friend of mine whose mother was fighting breast cancer. She was the one who made me aware of the campaign and I'm really glad to say that her mom had gone through with the surgery and is fine now! :,D There are however, many women who are still fighting, and although most people are aware of such a disease, most aren't of the early detection plans/ possible preventative precautions and such :T So if you'd like to learn more about the campaign or help with the cause, here's the website! I encourage you all to take a look see! [link]
I suggest listening to this while looking at this image: [link] Download for full view Want to save these animals? Join #AnimalAwareness to show your support for saving endangered and abused animals and contribute to our galleries to spread the awareness!
Abused animals, still an enormous problem forever growing. But that doesn't have to be the case.
You can make a difference in how animals are treated. ;w; I may be just another person on the face of the earth but I'm determined that art can be another way to help animals in need.
Spread the awareness through art and literature and make deviantArt another place to show your works.
These animals don't need to suffer, it'll end, the question is when?
~~~ If you look closely, I made his reflection have blue eyes and his form slightly less saturated in colors. He's on the brink of death and what I pictured when drawing this was as old dog, fighting abuse his whole life, and finally gets the chance to stop fighting. (That's barbed wire around his neck) This isn't uncommon and although this isn't based off an actual dog, it's a very real case.
Help now! And Spread the Awareness. ~~~ Puerto Rico dog park and abuse Now this article is also a must read, there are parts of Puerto Rico that are known for their animal abuse and even 'petnapping' dogs and cats from families and making them fight.
