Dreaming of Sunsets~ (Levi x Reader)Dreaming of Sunsets~ (Levi x Reader)4 months ago in Romance More Like This
You would expect Levi's hands to be rough from heavy years in the military, but they were as soft and smooth as the lips that attacked your neck. Your eyes fluttered close in bliss, letting your husband press your harder into the mattress. The springs squeaked in protest. Your nightgown was shoved rudely to your hips, hands eager to mark you as his new bride.
"You may like your new ring, but I prefer to claim you in a different way." He grinned devilishly, pulling from the rosy hickey on your skin.
"People are going to see that..." You complained.
"Good. Don't you dare try to cover it up."
"Oh Levi~" You murmered, snoring softly.
Mikasa glared at you from across the table, taking another small bite of her bread. She was a very reserved, patient young woman, but she wasn't sure how much more of this she could stand. A smile played on your lips as you snored on, head heavy on your folded arms. You remained unaware as Sasha filc

"Now, what is all that, when you see the rest of the world passing you by paired up?"
-Paul Newman, The Long Hot Summer
Everyone had a someone. From the crushes of little Romeo and Wendy to the newlyweds Alzach and Bisca. You didn't want to feel bitter off of other people's relationships, that would just make life miserable. Especially around Fairy Tail, where love was in the air.
You were glad your friends were happy. At least, that's what you told yourself as you slumped over a table in the Guild Hall. The nice meal Mira had made you had hardly been picked at. That was saying something, seeing as the shapely mage was an excellent cook. She learned from her brother. Speak of the devil...
You watched forlornly as he greeted the newly arrived Evergreen with a hot kiss hello. They were adorable together. The manliest man and one hell of a woman.

Levi wasn't sure how it happened, only that it did happen, and even that he was barely sure of anymore.
Maybe it was because you two never did get caught. Could some masochistic, voyeuristic part of him wanted the secret to spill?
His thoughts drifted lazily as he watched a pencil roll to the edge of his desk and pause, teasing him, making him ache for the simple noise of it hitting the ground.
That's what it would be labeled as, if he were to see any qualified doctor or physiologist.
"College professor, huh. Got any hot students? Have a little fun with them?" A companion had queried just last weekend.
She wasn't hot. She was beautiful.
There was nothing pornographic; fetish satisfaction about it, either. Not like you saw in pornos, the aging teacher lifting his plastic blonde student up onto a desk or a

For a thuggish brute, Levi sure knew how to play the part of a gentleman. You marveled at the little man beside you, shooting a side glance that wasn't as discreet as you hoped.
A warm hand pressed into your lower back, his arm looped around you. It was a protective gesture that clearly read "She's Taken." Levi was stopping just short of handcuffing the two of you together.
The bar was more packed than he planned. Every asshole with a credit card thought he could score if he got a gal too drunk to say no, and that infuriated Levi. He may not give two shits about the human race, but people should at least respect the ones already here.
From the very start, Levi was redeeming his outburst at your shop. He arrived on time, picking you up in a panty-dropper Impala. You had silently salivated over his lightly gelled hair and leather jacket. He wasn't minding your darker clothes either, you looked hot as a punk
One Last Kiss Before I Go (Levi x Reader)One Last Kiss Before I Go (Levi x Reader)4 months ago in Romance More Like This
Levi tumbled off his horse and hit the ground running. The sun was peaking over the horizon but he still couldn't see anything. The world was a blur of noise, smells, colors. Sympathetic glances were exchanged amongst his comrades as he whirred past them. The slapdash medical camp outside the walls wasn't set up for practice. It was for an all too real a purpose. The Wall Rose repair team had perished in a flurry of gigantic hands and teeth.
The bodies were everywhere. A torso here, a limb there. The doctors and volunteers had a hard time identifying all of the bodies. They had to use process of elimination from the corpses already sent back behind the walls.
When Hange had burst into his room this morning, glasses smeared with tears, the sinking feeling the Captain had hardbound all day came to fruition. He had woken up with a sick twist to his stomach. Who would have known his instincts were trying to warn him.

The sun hung hugely in the sky like a fat brass coin. Its radiating heat baked the ground into hard earth, whipped the air into a sticky mess, and left the poor people of the walls near stir crazy.
Shops closed their doors and opened their windows. They weren't losing any business by taking the day off, no one wanted to go out anyway. It was far too hot for anyone to want to move from their points of comfort.
Small clusters of children ventured to districts with rivers to cool off, promising mothers to stay safe and stay together. Ladies fanned themselves mechanically on balconies, pausing occasionally to sip drinks of various flavors. The men kept to the shade like the Lions of the savanna, sharing stories of how the heat waves of their boyhood were far worse, the actual temperatures of each story climbing with each retelling.
Now, what was our glorious military up to?
Training, of course.
