Community modding/mapping & Applying for project positions
Alright everyone, here are a few answers to some of the top questions getting asked by community members:
Can we mod the game? Can we map for the game?
And - "Can I become a team member / developer?
Before we opened the forum to the public, we only used it for development discussion (in the private subforum hidden to non team members) where we established a few guidelines for developers. Obviously fans who are not developers (just players) and want to make maps and other stuff for the game (when it's playable), so I'm putting together a few guidelines for that too. I'm starting off with

With NO SPACES between '< da & " >' while in the StashWriter HTML mode, accessed from the StashWriter - EDIT menu.
The codes must be exact, no other entries will be accepted by the DA preprocessor, so if it adds anything else to your entry - delete the additions and try again. Just keep in mind which display mode you are using.

o.O Talented UDK Asset Creators! O.oJust a reminder!o.O Talented UDK Asset Creators! O.o9 months ago in Art Features More Like This
I thought I'd do a reminder about the D2U MP project release of Proving Grounds due out in over a week on Xmas Day 2013 - and after that the team will be focusing on the SP version of SOL Contingency: The Lunar Incident.
There is a good chance of it going global because of the talent, quality, and gameplay involved. Since the UDK already supports some multilingual features, it is anticipated to have more foreign language support in future releases.
So, in the near future - if you or someone you know has some free time from other projects, maybe you'd like to stop by and say Hi to the guys and get familiar with the project? Or simply mention your hopes & interest in the game?
Or maybe you'd even like to link some of you

Intro's are a bore, but bear with me for just a few moments. On the pages in this site, you can find many points of interest if you play Descent 1, Descent 2, or Descent 3. This site, more than anything else, is about my role as a lead trainer for the Wildcards. Feel free to start with any link, but if you are a Pyro pilot, I w

Patience is the key to success:
Ok, I've been grilling you hard about the basics to this point. At the moment though, I'd like to take a small diversion. Whether talking about how long it takes to develop your skills or playing in an actual game, patience is an attribute you must learn to maintain. I can't stress this enough, and I hope you will see the importance of what I intend to show you.
Perseverance is what pays off in the long run. If you get discouraged, disgusted, or tired of constantly loosing to other people, you will end up quitting. If you find yourself playing and playing, and you see no improvement, take a step back. Re-evaluate what you're doing in games. Don't ponder what you're doing wrong. Rather, attempt to isolate what you do right. Try to figure out w
