Demon Boy -PruCan-"Non! I'm not doing it! You can't make me!" I huffed irritably, staring into the determined eyes of my brother who was holding two costumes.
One of Batman and one of Robin
"Come on bro, do me a favour!" Alfred whinned, nudging the ridiculously tight looking costume at me, a pleading look in his blue eyes
"No! I'll be here for the party, that's enough!" I huffed, now slightly irritated. I ran my hand through my blonde hair, watching as my brother grumbled and turned away. He would be after me again, trying to get me in that skin tight costume.
"That's just ridiculous, if it wasn't that skin tight I might have done it" I sighed, looking down. I didn't want to go in something with short sleeves like that; it was just too risky.
I didn't want anyone seeing the criss-cross lines against my pale skin, the cherry red glow of the healing cuts, and the pink fleshy colour of the healed scars, each one representing a memory being brought up, each thought of him again
Happy Halloween, BirdieAll Hallows’ Eve. Samhain. Halloween. A night that has had many names over the years. A night that symbolizes the end of summer’s warmth and life, and the beginning of winter’s deathly cold grip. The night of the year when creatures of the night have the most power and roam freely. So take care on this night, and wander not by yourself, for tonight of all nights is the worst night to be alone and vulnerable.Happy Halloween, Birdie3 years ago in Humor More Like This
Up in the sky, thinly veiled by dark clouds, the moon cast a sickly light that drained the color out of everything it touched. Naked trees reached up, bare branches grasping out like clawed hands. Fallen leaves rasped against concrete and crackled under the feet of stray trick-or-treaters.
One small figure had broken away from the others, a little girl dressed as a witch. Her large black hat threatened to fall over her eyes, and her feet kept catching on the long hem of her dress. She shivered as the chilly wind pierced through the thin m

"Pick one, bro!" Alfred dropped the bag on top of my book. Glancing in, I saw that it was filled with a bunch of folded up papers. Great, another one of Alfred's games. At his last party, I just narrowly avoided playing spin the bottle. Alfred seemed to enjoy himself, his lips connected with Arthur's through the rest of the night.
"Alfred, I don't want to play anything," I said, though judging by my brother's face he couldn't hear me over the loud music and drunken laughs. I guess he decided I had agreed and shoved my hand into the bag. Sighing I grabbed a paper which he promptly took from me. He snickered and grabbed the front of my shirt, dragging me through the party. I bumped into people, though they either blamed Alfred or just couldn't find the culprit. Finally he threw me into a closest.
"Wait there, I'll be back with your partner!"
Of all the games to make me play, he chose seven minutes in heaven.

Gilbert talks about his little Birdie so much, he won't let him be forgotten. At least, he won't let Germany and Italy forget him.
Mathew sighed, shoving his hands into the pockets of his red hoodie. He'd been called here by Ludwig because Gilbert had been acting...strange. Apparently, he hadn't come out of his room all day. Now, the normal Gilbert Beilshmidt would be dropping by any and every countries home to, as he would so humbly put it, 'grace all of the unawesome people with his awesome presence.' So, this was definitely not the norm for the loud Prussian. Of course, it was the middle of January, so it had been below zero almost the entire day, not like it really bothered the Canadian. He'd experienced far worse winters. But, the thing was, he'd flown into Germany from Florida, since his brother had insisted on dragging him down from his comfo
PruCan - It's Valentines DayKicking off his boots, Gilbert felt a flood of warmth shudder through him, as he entered the cozy household from the knee deep snow inside, tracking some onto the red carpet. Sticking to a think black jacket, that seemed to make his muscular chest puff out, he had decided to go out to a friend on this holiday - Valentines day.PruCan - It's Valentines Day4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
No, Gilbert himself was too manly and awesome to receive anything while they day was still young. That's why nothing had came in the mail or hand delivered yet, right? The light hair male was convinced - But that didn't matter at the moment. While he was awaiting his goods in the mail, the albino called out, "Mattie, I'm here!"
Looking up from his mug of hot chocolate, and the hockey game on TV, Matthew let out a nervous chuckle. "Oh, Gilbert." That was most likely the best greeting the Albino would have gotten, so he took it. "Guten tag, Mattie! Happy valentines day a

Canada sat at the end of the hall, listening to the other countries yell at each other, and waiting for them to notice him-- but he knew they never would.
For some reason, he found his eyes drawn to a certain albino ex-nation. Prussia. He allowed himself this one time to loose himself in his thoughts, about what would happen if one day people started noticing him, if one day, that one person he really wanted to notice him would.
He was so intent in his thoughts that he didn't realize that the meeting had ended and he was still staring at the Germanic nation.
Then, something rare happened. One of his fellow countries approached him.
"Mon amour? Is something wrong?" asked France.
"Ah! Papa! I'm sorry! No, nothing's wrong. I was just... Thinking..." the Canadian replied quietly, the way he always talked. Everything about the blonde said 'quiet' and 'shy'.

"Gil " Matthew sighed, looking away, his hair wavy dirty-blond hair falling over his glasses and shielding his eyes. "F-Forget it I'm sorry "
Gilbert frowned deeper, seeing his melancholy expression, not to mention his tone of voice, even sadder than it usually was. Gently, as gently as he could, he brushed his fingers against Matt's cheek, feeling his breath catch as he did so.
" G-Gil " Matthew muttered before the gap between them was closed. He shifted lightly in his seat so he could lean

It started out as any other World Meeting did. England and France were in their customary fist fight of the month; America was proclaiming himself as being the so-called "Hero", Russia was terrifying the Baltic states as he talked to them about something that only the world knew what, and China was complaining loudly about how the nations had deteriorated since world knows how many years had passed (in other words he was preaching to his imaginary choir about his woes of being one of the oldest countries still in a good amount of standing). In all honesty Canada was used to the fact that he was being left out of the rest of the countries tomfoolery, he was also used to the fact that the other countries kept forgetting he was there. The invisibility left the Canadian the ability to observe and learn about the others but it also left him with a feeling of loneliness. "N-nothing... It's just... My curl..." the smaller blonde blushed deeply.

'Man, I'm so awesome!' thought Gilbert Beilschimdt, the personification of Prussia (East Germany), as he walked (strutted) down the large, grand hall of the U.N. Meeting hall in Paris, France. It was France's turn to host the meeting much to his delight, as they were good friends. England on the other hand....not so much. As Prussia got closer to the big, wooden, double doors of the meeting room, his ears picked up the distinct sound of sobbing. He spun around; blood red eyes scanning the area around him, until he found what looked to be a blonde haired boy, with a peculiar curl sticking out, wearing glasses and a red hoodie, and holding what looked to be a polar bear. Gilbert walked over to the boy and crouched down beside him, "Mattie?"
The two had known each other for quite awhile through the introduction of France, and over time, Prussia had developed very strong feelings for the country of Canada. Said Canadian looked up, startled that someone had seen him. "O-oh it

A person as wonderful as Canada deserved much more than a store-bought card or a box of chocolates or a bouquet of roses. No, whatever Prussia decided to do, it would have to be totally unique and mind-blowingly awesome.
Not that Canada was the sort of person who would blow up at him if he didn’t do anything to celebrate. In fact, he would probably be totally okay if they didn’t do anything. But in Prussia’s mind, there was no way that he would let Birdie get away without knowing just how much he meant to the ex

Matthew rolled his eyes at the albino that was currently sprawled over him. He had sat down on the couch to put on his shoes and before he knew it the man was laying in his lap. Luckily for Gilbert Matthew always got ready early and preferred having ample time to leave.
'You don't want me to be late for work do you?' he asked toying with the feathery locks. Gilbert turned on his side, pressing his face into Matthew's shirt mumbling. 'What was that?'
'If you didn't have to go to work then I could spend all day with you,' Gilbert said again. He closed his eyes at the gentle feeling of the long fingers softly running through his hair. It amazed him at how Matthew put up with him. Had he done this to anyone else they would have sent him tumbling to the ground. He was there, in the midst of the hub-bub, listening to the laughter and drunken slurring, and yet he wasn't there. Not to anyone else at least.
