It’s funny, really.
You don’t cry.
You don’t pray for life to give you another day.
You don’t even feel all that sad, or scared.
You stand outside the doctor’s office, with about twenty three hours and thirty minutes left to live. You have no one to go to. No one to turn to for your last day on this beautiful world.
