Since my follower group is reaching 20.000 now and handling the amount of daily feedback by you lovely people near-term is getting harder and harder. So I'd like to point out some things that make it easier for all of us:
The Essentials
- I can't answer every comment. If I could, I'd do, but that would require to spend hours in front of the laptop, just handling deviantArt. And there is also tumblr, Facebook, etc. Sadly I just don't have the time. Every comment is being read and appreciated! And whenever I find the time, I answer. But there will always be something left unanswered. My sincere apologies on that!
- Answering my notes sometimes takes long, too. For the same reasons as above - lack of time. But every note WILL get answered!

- Hold soda in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing it, as your mouth absorbs the sugars quicker
- Drink OJ with sugar added to it
- Honey sticks
Basically, the advice given was "SUGAR, AND LOTS OF IT!"
God.
I don't know what people are taught about health in the USA, but clearly it's VERY different to the UK. People, PLEASE don't live on sugar at a convention! Not only is it bad for your teeth, but bad for your health, and it's NOT the best source of energy there is!
Eating regularly and healthily, especially wholemeals, will provide you with a much healthier and long-lasting source of energy. Sure, you may get a brief rush from a Red Bull, but you'll have a crash as well. I know none of us take the best care of ourselves at cons, but at least TRY to get in a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. And drink plenty of water!!

This is just a quick update about what is going on with me as of right now. Currently, I am in school and bogged down with a ton of literature homework. This is the life of an English major. Not only am I bogged down with literature homework, but I am still taking Japanese language classes--I've been taking them since my freshman year of college and I am now a junior. So, I've been taking Japanese for awhile now. For those of you who ever want to embark on the journey of learning Japanese...it is not something for the faint of heart. It is one of the hardest languages offered at the college I attend and it is difficult! However, despite having completed my language requirements long ago I decided to keep taking Japanese classes. I enjoy learning the language far too much--despite the difficulties that it can sometimes present.

I still have to go through Animefest photos that friends tagged me in; hopefully I'll have some good stuff to share with you guys soon :3. The con was pretty fun btw, but not as fun as it was at the previous hotel. It was worth it for the friends though <333 (Miss you all so much!). I also got Best Prop award for my Sword and Shield. It was a big accomplishment, considering props aren't usually my specialty (and I'm usually limited to lower budget materials, so it's cool when people think it looks awesome regardless XD).
