The bridge in the background will take you straight to Jasper, TN. This area is near Chattanooga, TN. The lake is called Nickajack Lake. This was taken toward the end of October.

We're having a pretty shitty spring. It had just stopped raining before I took this photo. Slowly, but inevitably, the weather is improving.

The interesting thing here is that the sun is still pretty high above the horizon - this is around 25 minutes before sunset.

Location: North arm of the Fraser River, Richmond, Beautiful British Columbia.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm @ ISO 200 f/8.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.0 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW exposures.
Download: Up to 2560x1600, 2560x1440, and 1600x1200.
