First off I would like to say omg it is not Master Chief! D: It is SPARTAN-043: William, or commonly called Will. If you like though you can "pretend" its Master Chief XD
***SPOILER WARNING IF YOU ARE READING GHOSTS OF ONYX DO NOT READ THIS Garrhhh***
This picture is based on the event that happened near the end of the book. Blue team and the rest of the SPARTAN-III's were cornered between a wall and a ass ton of Covenant. When the hunters came out it was pretty much game over for them (In the Halo novels it's more realistic then the game. You can get shot/hit in the game and live through it, but in the novels they will crush your spine or something else more gruesome like cut you in half with their shield). In a last ditch effort to save his buddies, Will ran into the hunter pair and literally starting punching the shit out of them. The rest of the covenant stood their with their mouths open and watched cause they couldn't believe it XD In the end though, Will was killed :\ WHY OH WHY DO THEY ALWAYS KILL MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN EVERY MOVIE/GAME/NOVEL I READ!??!?!?! GRRRR.
**** End of spoiler ****
This picture was fun to do, but I wanted to do alot more to it. Alas my computer is a PoS and can't handle to many things at once :\ I also changed the background to something more dark then what the background should have been as described by the novel, but /shrug.
On holiday up in Northland, I had my laptop, but not an awful lot to do. This combined probably with a fortunate alignment of the planets put me in a mood which made me accept a sketch request from ~Halo-Arbiter-fan. He wanted a drawing of his elite character Leme 'Ehsaree wielding a energy sword with a needler clipped to his side. I had never really liked the needler, being so pink and fabulous as it is, but while I was drawing this, I realised that a needler shoots bits of glass which stick in you and then explode- pretty brutal when you come to think about it. xD
I'm quite pleased with how this came out, the pose here is more or less a better version of the one I used in this, but I think the sense of movement here is better and the body is twisting a bit more naturally.
Hope you like it, ~Halo-Arbiter-fan! I would like to be able to offer full colour, but I'm so slow at colouring that it becomes a ridiculous amount of work (arguably 50+ hours) to get colour of quality that I'm happy with, so I'm be somewhat disinclined to run myself quite that ragged.
PS. This does not imply that requests are open season, although I don't want to say they're closed either. On rare occasions, depending on how busy I am, how difficult and how cool I think your idea is, I might or might not accept requests.
PPS: ~Halo-Arbiter-fan can you tell me this character's name and I'll update the title and description with it.
After submitting my latest attempt at using coloured pencils, I thankfully received a whole lot of great criticism on how to better use them. This made me very anxious to try out what I'd been told, and since I haven't drawn an elite in a while, I decided to draw my elite character, Antak Koadamee, mid way through tossing a plasma grenade.
I'm much happier with this picture than my last one, all the advice I'd gotten really worked.
Big "You Rock" going out to everyone who added their input.
I might add some more to this later, like a background or... some legs xD
I'm aware about how I should have continued the torso down a bit further since the arm comes below the line I've cut the chest off at, I actually couldn't figure how it would actually go in this pose.
Background info on Antak is available Here.
And Elites are copyright to... me, since I invented them </massive sarcasm>
PS Yes I did cheat and use my graphite pencils on the bodysuit.
After being poked and asked over and over what I'd look like as a Elite by ~Halo-Arbiter-fan I managed to put aside some time to draw my Halo Elite Persona. Using this nifty elite name generator that she showed me, I got the name Gihe 'Kedalee. And then created my custom armour. So, this is me!! Hope you like it guys! I know I do
