A fear I know I must let go of but cannot get past..
It stands in my way mocking me...
My mind telling me to move forward..
So my body tries..
And that fear holds me back..
Mocking my every waking moment...
Telling me to turn back..
So I give in. and let it control me...
Because i know no other way
To beat this fear..
And not let it hold me back
From the person I could be

sorrow and happiness
dark and light
off the canvas
onto my fingers
Red and orange
like the sunset color
of a warm beating heart
Delicate fingers painted
on the canvas wall
every detail matched
with every branch and line
Blue and black
sorrow and distress
Colors of the rainbow
of the world
of the cosmos
rubies and emeralds
fall out of my eyes
from the old and new colors
Your eyes seep of wonder
I grasp your hands
the symbiotic painting of life

A thousand years and still
You would be the only one for me
I could dream for
The rest of my life
Just as long as you
Are there with me
In my dreams tonight
I could fly up to the moon
And catch a shooting star
If would take me
To wherever you are
I could travel around the world
And sail the ocean blue
To prove my love for you
I could go and fight in a war
Be brave, strong and true
If it meant that you are safe from harm
I could do all of this for you
For you are the love
That I have found

No one understands.
Nobody knows how much,
I just need someone to hold my hand.
Theres something comforting,
About fingers interlaced.
As though the world is perfect,
No worries in your way.
The warmth of someone elses hand in yours,
Keeping away the cold.
Holding on tight,
So theyll never have to let you go.
I cry myself to sleep at night,
Wanting someones hand to hold.
Knowing if I had them,
The tears would freeze and go.
Oh, is there anyone out there,
Anyone at all?
Anyone who would love me,
And just hold my hand?

Like a gentle caress
Touching my cheek
The sweet smelling breeze of wildflowers
Ever so sweet and pure
Morning dew grass
Waves in the wind
Pouring down in rays
Stand high and strong
The guardians of mysteries unknown
Rivers and trickling streams
Again, that breeze
So calm and warm.

that we used to share
The flowers back then had been full of color
but now you don't care
Each day and night
I hold a paintbrush in my hand
among this foliage
that will soon probably turn to sand
I paint them to their former glory
and try to replicate those wonderful pigments
that glistened and shined
but disappeared and are now a figment
All I do is wait
for the day you will return
so the flowers will live again
but for now I just yearn
If you never come back
and the flowers never become their original hue
Please remember this:
I am still painting flowers for you...

You broke it to me
The steady beats of my body
Pulsing in rhythm
To the thoughts wandering
In my unstable mind
That mean so much
And yet sympathises
In my silent room
Tears of parting sorrow
Trickle down my chest
Spreading the pain
I refuse to believe
Believe all that I
Hear and all
That I see
My head shakes
Blocking out all that
Hoping, for the first time
That you're not telling me
The truth, you're leaving...
Wolf InsideA ghostly glow in the black of the nightWolf Inside4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
A constant drawing to that bright white light
Unbearable longing deep in my heart
To let her out
That wolf inside
She escapes, the prison gone
At once we start, to become one
A split second of pain
Burning, searing, ripping
As dark as night
I open my eyes,
To the brightness of life
My senses open, to the pure delight
Of soil beneath my paws
I tense, waiting for the moment
To set myself free,
With only my heart to lead
Weaving through the trees,
A ghost in the wood
At one with the forest
Until the moon goes down...
Now for the pain
Ice down my spine
Dreading the moment,
When I become blind
With every breath I take
Locked up once again
My wolf inside
FearIt's a simple thingFear5 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Something that builds up for years
It's a thing that keeps you on edge
It's all your fears
Some people hate spiders and bugs
And how they creep and crawl
From the small ones to the big ones
They watch you hiding on the wall
Many people are afraid of the dark
Because you never really know
All the things that darkness keeps secret
And all the things that don't show
Some people don't like big animals
From all the creatures from far and wide
Wolves, Tigers, Bears, Lions
All of them would hurt you till you died
Most people hate to think of blood
The thought and the sight makes skin crawl
It's not that it's dangerous
But it's disgusting all-in-all
Anything can scare a person
People have many fears
Things that can break you down
Into many shakes and tears
Death, love, poison, commitment
They are fears too
Anything from death
Too an "I love you"
Worms that crawl under your skin
Thoughts to make the blood run cold
Turn your skin pale
You are everything but feeling bold
Painting flowersDo you remember that field?Painting flowers4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The one we'd sit in for hours?
It's dead now,
And so are you.
I haven't come to terms with it yet.
Sure, I can say it,
But it's kinda a joke to me,
Even though I know it shouldn't be.
Do you remember our plan?
In the winter to put fake flowers there?
And watch the passing car,
And joke how confused they'd be.
Well, I'm making a new plan.
I'm planting fake flowers in that field.
All white roses but one,
A single red one hidden among the rest.
I'll write what happen,
And bury it under the red one.
Then, I'll start painting the white roses red.
Every day until I've forgotten what one started red.
And maybe I'll forget the bad too,
And remember the good.
I'll stop blaming myself,
And live the life you wanted me to.
I started a month after you left,
Painting the roses red.
But to this day,
I'm still painting flowers for you.
leaving schoolLeaving Schoolleaving school8 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Now its time; the end of school-
Is all so very near,
And some of us already think;
'This never took a year'.
For some of us there is no reason-
To even shed a tear,
For others it's that time in life;
To lose those very dear.
There is hope for tomorrow though,
When all is said and done,
Well look back at the time we had
And all the reckless fun.
We'll realise its not over yet;
It's only just begun,
'Cause off into the future
We're all about to run.
In this school we've done it all:
We've danced, we laughed, we cried,
But now that some of us are leaving-
It feels like something died.
And out into the world we head
With courage, love and pride,
And through all of life's challenges
We're never gonna hide.
So off into the future,
We go with heads held high,
As tears run down our faces,
'Cause we said our last goodbyes.
But never be disheartened,
Friendships never die,
They'll never be forgotten-
If you just let them fly.
paintingThe paint sat like the surface of a poolpainting10 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
You could not tell how deep it was
The canvas lay on its frame
Naked and bare no hint of what was to come
With a whim the brush broke the surface
The color was pure
It touched the canvas with its brilliance
The sound of the strokes like a purr
Only hints of the beauty showed on the top
But it formed and came into focus each revealing drop
The paint was deeper then the sea when really dug in
The canvas was glowing with more then any eye could see
Ever feature was perfect as he lovingly progress
But still something was missing from her yet
Then a tear hit paint as he stuck his face past
He smudged her cheek with a kiss that would last
TreeI rest beneath my favorite treeTree3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
As I walk through the forest.
I stare up
through the emerald leaves
And coppery branches.
Each slender twig shaped lovingly
By the hands of mother nature.
Wide stretching arms
Hold up the breath taking canopy.
Smooth brown branches hide
Under the leafy sea,
Turning to ivory when bark is pealed
From a fresh twig.
Delicate tendrils of ivy
Twine around the trunk,
Like so many green stitches
In the brown velvet
Of a lady's gown.
And, as I rise to leave, I look back,
And I see the tree.
Cloaked in it's golden shroud of sunbeams,
And I watch as it waves good-by.

Enveloping your conscience with its beauty
The vibrant colors of blue and red
Spring to life in your mind
With its silent aesthetic power
Alone on a wall
An impression of a perfect life
Or what it feels like
Hanging in a frame
An artist created this world
On his canvas
Led his brush across a pale void
Until he found peace in his work
Your soul has poured into the fields of amber grey
Coming to life in the perfect dawn
You have been taken by the wind in the painted sky
You find peace in this virgin tranquility
You find hope in a blend of color and life

(Name) rubbed her eyes to keep her from falling asleep again. She had a lot of paperwork that she had to finish before tomorrow and she hadn't even finished half of it. Her boss would be so mad at her if he had ever found out. She usually was prompt with it. The reason for her sudden procrastination was a little nation that was also known as Canada. Now, don't get me wrong, for he was a very sweet and adorable little country and causing (Name)'s boss to get mad at her would be the last thing he would ever want. You see, (Name) had saved Canada from a certain English nation that wanted control over him. He already had America, but his hunger for power made him want Canada too. Fortunately, (Name) had come in the right time and had saved little Canada from being taken over by him. After all, it was all she could do to repay France, her ally, from helping her economy when it hit an all-time low. He had been nice (sometimes, a little too nice) and had given her some money. Not a hope left, not a trace
No fire burning in your eye
Only shadows from where you'd cried
I could see you lying there
On your face a single tear
I knew you knew what we wanted to say,
I'm going to love and miss you every day.
Your are gone forever now
But ill see you again and that's my vow
Ill love you forever more
Like you loved us, down to the core
I cried and cried when you left
But where you were now was the best
I talked to you every night
Praying that you were up there and all right
I needed to know that you were safe
And now I know that you're in a better place
I miss you everyday and night
I know your still here, just out of sight.

Daytime sky is of a Soft and Gentle
Vanilla and A Sun of Dark Azure.
Not expectant of what we know...
at least what we know for sure.
The Oceanic Waters are of a Crimson Hue;
with Foam of a Deep Amathyst Imbue.
The Tides Crash upon windswept shores
of a silvering white and a ambering gold
and every piece of silicon and sand
has within it a new dream that someone
shall unfold and behold.
Within this water is aquatic life
that is unlike our own as it reinforces
every joint,muscle fiber,tissue,cartilidge and bone.
The water here is really great for our human blood;
As it revitalizes and enriches it with all that
we get depleated of.
All of The Tree's Bark and Roots are of
a Dark Earthy Brown with a Slight Hue of Gray;
The Leaves are of Mamalade Orange
and Laced with fine lines of Magenta for display.
The Grass is of Hazel,Lavendar and White;

LeavingThe past three years of our livesLeaving4 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Are most memorable by far
We've all had lots of chances
To shine out and be a star
Some of the best friends
I'm sure we'll ever meet
Have came from this middle school
That we're about to leave
We're going off to high school
A jungle in its own
But I'm sure we'll be prepared
With all the lessons we've been shown
Eighth grade, No need to worry
You know we'll be all right
We sure will miss our crazy teachers
Those who make Cranberry a delight
The memories we've had here
The good ones, and the bad
We'll look back on someday
And be happy, but also sad
We'll miss you, but we're ready
For whatever high school brings
Cranberry, we'll still love you
But we're moving on to bigger things

We hug and we cry,
Signing each others shirts
Numbers are swapped
Promises are made
Our friendships will last
Till the end of the day
Part of me grieves
That part of me wants
To run and just hide
Ill never look back
Cos this is my way
Its the same every time
With these lost school days
