Whenever I hear is in town, I make it a point to set some time aside for her. She's definitely a good sport and a pleasure to work with. Also she's one of the few people who puts up with my crazy ideas. She definitely makes me look good.
Third photo from today's photoshoot with my last costume: Merida from Brave. It's almost summer here in Argentina and I practically melted with this costume, but it was worth it. We could make another awesome phtoshoot/backstage video with Sevi and Cynthia. The video will be up this week or the other, if lucky ! The biggest challenge was finding an appropriate wig, then I dyed some parts to give it different shades of orange. I just couldn't feel myself with that wig! it's so hughe, lol.

THE COSTUME THE WIG is made by myself. You might have recognized the curles, but it's an sbsolutely different wig: I made it from two wigs. It took a day to finish for a cosplay convention. I like the color extremely! THE DRESS is made by myself. I use my own patterns, the dress is made of wool, embroidery is handmade. I made the dress specially for the video [link] I like the black dress more than her casual one, it's more beautiful and...impressive so to say. THE BELT is also made by me. I used man-made leather and colored it myself. It was a little tiresome but I went all the way through and enjoyed it to some extend. I totally like the result. THE BOW AND ARROWS are made by my friend Michiru and me. He helped me with the wooden bow and stitching the feathers. I colored the bow and every its detail.
I made this costume, Merida's princess dress, as a secret for SDCC this year and finally got a photoshoot with it last week! My dress has ~13 hours worth of screen printing on it and countless hours of hand-gluing 3700 gems to the bottom. Even though I donít wear a corset with it as she does in the movie, I still canít move or breathe in the thing lol. Wig is also custom made by me (and is a continual piece of work) along with the work on my bow and painting on the sword! Probably one of my favorite costumes to date, if I wear it to ALA Iíll be making her circlet and white head piece (:
Major thanks to Robert & Jeff for the gorgeous photos!
