Finally got around to doing some serious fan art of The Question...who I just loved in Justice League Unlimited!
Been really REALLY busy with doing some freelance/consultant work that I'm hoping will have me onboard full-time soon...though I'll require me to learn a lot of the HTML, CSS, and XML languages...whew...
Man alive, I just realized there's a lot of Birds of Prey love in my dA gallery. A recent commission request from *happysorceress adds another one into the mix. And surprisingly, I've never drawn Huntress before, so once I had the pen-and-ink done I was excited to throw some color around.
So I have 71 pieces in my gallery here on dA, and now three of them feature Black Canary? That's like.... hold on a second - OK, carry the one, add that - that's like 84% of my total output!
Wait. That's... not right. Whatever, "Math" was never my best subject.
So yeah, it's Black Canary again. I realize I just did a piece based on the silver age outfit a few months back, but I was never completely happy with my first attempt at her [link] (hence why I've never uploaded a color version) and decided to redraw the pose. By the time I got around to doing it, the New 52 redesign happened and, well, here we are.
Created with PITT Pens, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS 5.5. The font is "Fundead" by Blambot: [link]
Holy crap, it's been two months since I posted here last, hasn't it? Well, look... I haven't been slacking (for the most part), I swear (or swear-ish). Among other things, there's been commissions happening! Like this New 52 Wonder Woman piece (the black and white part is the commission - I decided to add the color because, hey, why not?).
More to come. Pinkie swear.
Created with pencil, PITT Pens and Adobe CS5.5 Photoshop.
a couple weeks ago i asked in my journal if there were any superheroes anyone wanted to see me take a shot at drawing. ~Perfection0080 said the question. so i drew him up and inked him but then decided to vector over the whole thing because the question totally rocks. i had a blue coat version too but i think i like this one better, the color scheme from 52
used: 38 layers, photoshop pen-tool, and a couple of refs for the coat
