I love getting high fives, but only when I deserve it. Any other time I feel like a sham. Need to earn real high fives more often. I also like bubble wrap.... It would be cool to be a mime.... And to ride a pony.... or to be a mime riding a pony. Dinosaurs are also cool... but not as cool as mimes riding dinosaurs, riding a pony.. I'm hungry
........ I have nothing else to say..
Good night.
.. also I love you

And now I will explain what the heck this journal entry is all about while also leaving you with a question. What if life were really like this? Clearly I'm just typing random thoughts that I happen to be pondering on the fly at any given moment, but this is how I think, it's how my brain works. Think about when you're sitting alone in a room, no music, no television, nothing to disturb your thought process. All that's left is to simply sit, and let your thoughts run wild. Perhaps this is dangerous? Maybe it relaxes you

Best to have failure happen early. [It] wakes up the phoenix bird in you. (Anne Baxter)
Ever tried? Ever failed? No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better. (Samuel Beckett)
Today's failure is tomorrow's starting point. (Beth Ferrier)

The FollowingOnce upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,The Following4 months ago in Personal More Like This
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door—
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more."
Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December;
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow;—vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow—sorrow for the lost Lenore—
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore—
Nameless here for evermore.
And the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each purple curtain
Thrilled me—filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating,
"'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my ch

Seems a lot more.
Maybe that's because here we feel like in home.
I won't say any names, but if you're reading this, this is certainly for you.
Since the first month here I met people, I received feedbacks that helped me to do better, I saw some great art, and I became a better artist, and why not, a better person.
Deviantart (and all the people here) taught me to be polite in the internet and consequently in the real world and understand and respect other people's culture and opinion.
Maybe only because I'm curious. If I hadn't pressed a button -a very specific button- some years ago, who knows, I could have never met this place.
I entered here when I was in high school. Now I'm in college, I have a job, and I go home to sleep. I don't have time to enter here as often as I want. Actually, I don't do a lot of things as often as I want. And that makes me feel a little sad. I miss when I had almost the entire day free.
Whatever, this is not my f. diary
Talking about hacking...Hi there.:iconsuperw00tplz: I am here to talk about ~lilsweetmandee.Talking about hacking...5 months ago in Personal More Like This
I went to her page after see a journal about hacking (this is my post-->http://elise-the-hedgehog98.deviantart.com/journal/#/d5mfpvu).
I saw a journal about her being hackde by one.
So, i came up with this conclusion after talked to her.
The journal is this-->http://lilsweetmandee.deviantart.com/journal/OMG-MY-ACCOUNT-IS-HACKED-339606462
And there is also this-->http://lilsweetmandee.deviantart.com/journal/#/d5m8qb4
In conclusion the hacker put hacking comment on some art using her account...
Because after the hacker hacked an account he can do whatever he want like posting hacking comment, sent bad note and submit atwork not yours.
So please don't be mad at her she is really kind :iconluvluvplz:
Pass this journal with the title: "talking about hacking" and post the link of this journal in it.
Thanks to all! :icononionbyeplz:

August Artisan Crafts DD RoundupWow how fast the time passes! I can't believe this is already my third roundup, I'm actually very happy with this month's DDsAugust Artisan Crafts DD Roundup9 months ago in Artisan Crafts More Like ThisI think I received a lot of great suggestions for unusual crafts, and I was able to feature some of the most obscure and under-recognized crafts. Please keep the awesome suggestions coming!
Remember that I'm specially interested in the original, different and non-ordinary crafts
of course I love and consider all the suggestions, but I want to get all the crafts out there. This week I'm looking for etching, knitting, embroidery and clothing.
I want to represent all the Artisan Crafts equally, so if you think that any area is not being properly represented please let me know! I think I got a good mix this month, what do you guys think?
Useless fact: I tried to pick one as my "DD of the month" and I couldn't choose my favorite, I love everything so muchwhat would you choose?

my life is very crazy at the momment, since the end of last year I have a job from monday to saturday, in the afternoon, and this semester I'm taking five classes at college (in the night), since I spend my mornings sleeping, I only have the sunday and the dawns to do the things I want... (by want I mean have to)
buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
I became a community volunteer here!!!
so my life is more crazy than never
but I'm going...
today I took a look at the visualization gallery and, "ohh god, why?"
there's infinite numbers a lot of wrong categorized deviations there
and I want to organize it.
after I finish it (hopefully before the end of the world), I'll be more active here.
see ya brothas
good luck to me!
An update from the Space KittySo I realized that it's been a long frickin time since I updated my journal. Probably because I don't think anyone really reads it anyways...An update from the Space Kitty1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Buuuut, in an effort to consolidate my efforts across the web, I am trying to create some semblance of professionalism on the sites I frequent.
Anyways, here's what I've been up to:
I discovered that no one really wants to buy originals these days, and thus have been making some decent coin selling prints. Honestly, invest in a really good printer, some photo paper, and it's really cost-effective to do all your own printing. So I've got a few shops around town selling odds and ends from me, which is nice.
Moving into the realm of street art has been very exciting for me. I got really sick of dealing with 'professional' galleries and their elitist attitudes, so I figured that no one can tell me where I can't put my

Mentors, Loss, Optimism & FeaturesUpdateMentors, Loss, Optimism & Features1 year ago in Personal More Like This
There was a man I looked up to, a man I saw as a shining light, a man that, to me, was a beacon to be followed in dark moments of life. In his manner, his life and his philosophy, he was everything that I strive to become. That man died in a car crash a year ago. Though in his twilight years he left behind a PhD project agonizingly close to completion. Over the fading months of the year past I was helping his widow (a woman who tutored me in English, Maths and Science since I was 7) to find some of the lost/unfinished references for his book. I sat for hours at his computer looking for something that seemed so close yet tantalizingly out of reach. In the end my search bore little fruit.
In a recent tribute to his life in front of hundreds of people his wife made an impassioned plea: "The best way to remember my husband is to follow in his footprints." This was a man who spoke 5 languages, a man whose thirst for knowledge led him to doing an MA and PhD so late in life, a man w

The 27 Step Process to Artistic MasteryThe 27 Step Process to Artistic MasteryThe 27 Step Process to Artistic Mastery6 months ago in Personal More Like This

……………………….
Step 1- Finish drawing
Step 2- Look at drawing right away- sit back and appreciate what you've done- become very pleased with yourself while feeling a sense of accomplishment- give yourself a thumbs up/ pat yourself on the back (warning- must be flexible)
Step 3- Walk away for a moment, feeling really good about yourself. Watch some TV- take a break.
Step 4- Get bored.
Step 5- Start thinking about drawing again.
Step 6- Walk back into drawing room- Begin staring at drawing, nitpicking at every little detail, critiquing every detail.
Step 7- 3 Hours later you realize you've been sitting there for 3 hours.
Step 8- Get sick of staring at drawing- eyes hurt from staring at your computer for too long. Become agitated and annoyed. Headache ensues.
Step 9- Start to hate drawing because you've been staring at it all day.
Step 10- Take 2 tablets of extra strength Tylenol.
Step 11- Try to draw something better. Something so epic i

Six Word Story Contest - 7 3Mo.Subs to be won!A type of Flash Fiction, six word stories are (very) short stories with an exact word count: six words. #SixWordStories is the place where, alongside quality, quantity really does matter. Though these stories are so brief in length, they can be as profound, if not more, than the prose and poetry you see and read every day, partly because six word stories can tell us so much and yet contain so little.Six Word Story Contest - 7 3Mo.Subs to be won!1 year ago in Contests More Like This
As a Group, we encourage writers to explore their boundaries with prompts, collaborations and more, but we accept anyone and everyone too! Whether you are a digital artist, photographer, or something else entirely, if you can string six words together into a story, this is the place to be!
So getting to the point of this article, we are kickstarting this year with a six word story contest! We have some awesome prizes and hopefully enough freedom for you to enjoy yourselves too! Please support the contest and
the article so that more can join in on the fun!

2) Not everyone knows the true meaning of honesty.
3) Trust must be earned, not given.
4) Social media, in essence, is really quite anti-social.
5) Being completely misunderstood and judged by strangers (who really know absolutely nothing about you) shouldn't hurt - but it still does.

I feel so awful that work on the script was delayed over and over last year.
Personal plea:
My flesh and bone life has been and continues to be complicated in so many ways since at least 2 years ago.
If there are any Deviant personal injury lawyers that can help a poor old fellow out, my gratitude would be immeasurable.
From all the reading about laws I've been through it appears I have more than enough cause to bring the problems I face to a court to judge. (But legal systems are intensely complex, so I do not have any way to know without professional help.)
I want little more than to remove myself from this house- (actually apartment-) of-horrors t
