The week following the catch of the boar, Dreatox was awake late one night, gazing at the stars from the mouth of the cave, his tearless face (as Kernar cannot cry tears) was alight with the moon, and in his grey eyes it was reflected. Clouds moved at their slow pace, and the blue tint of the world that came at night flooded his heart and mind, clashing waters with his sorrow and his longing for love. Whether to receive it or give it, Dreatox was famished of it. Motherless and alone inside, he felt nothing for him. Feindar was the favorite. He would receive Father's amulet and be chosen as his successor. Then, Dreatox would die.
