"Spit it out, Seaweed Brain."
"If you jump in and swim with me for a while, I will take you to any library you want to go to, anywhere in the city, and I promise I'll try my hardest to listen while you ramble on about architecture and a whole bunch of other things that don't interest me. Agreed?"

But from what he could tell, it was about twenty feet long, vaguely snakelike, with ten or more glowing red eyes, and at least six arms. It was slow, which was good because it had been slithering after him and Annabeth for the past three days. Now that they were at the Doors, though, it had finally caught up.
And all the other monsters that had been chasing them were catching up, too. Percy was glad he couldn't see most of them, but even in the dim light of his sword, what he saw made him wonder if he'd ever be sane again. A large part of him wished he were dead.
Then there was Annabeth. She'd been beyond brave, limping along on her wounded ankle, trying to find any information about the Doors that she could on her laptop. (They'd nearly tripped over it after falling into the Pit.) She sat near the doors now, furiously tapping away at the keys, looking for anything that would help keep the

And then her doubt seemed to evaporate as if it were water meeting scorching sunshine, for he knew. He knew.
The two camps spoke around her but the sound was lost behind the deafening roar in her head. She stared at his face, that beautiful face that had haunted her for so long, beaming with happiness while he bounced up and down in the grass. She found her hands parting Piper and Leo aside like a curtain in an almost dream like haze as her feet carried her forward on slow, hesitant steps. Impossible. She must be dreaming, any moment about to awake to cold reality.
Her pace picked up and his smile continued to grow as she finally shoved past Jason to stumble to the front line, gasps and glares erupting almost instantly among the Romans

"Percy,..."I started, but he shook his head. He leaned in towards me and brushed his soft lips against mine. My fingers grabbed hold of his messy, dark locks and he closed his sea green eyes. That was the first time I think I realized just how much he had grown from the first time he arrived at camp. I mean, he was still a teenager... he was tall and lanky, yet muscular and well-developed, too. Now he had deep brown hair lightly scattered on his strong arms, his legs tangled under him. Percy was so handsome, so beautiful, but such a guy; too. Don't get me wrong, Percy is far from perfect, but that's why I loved him, I think, because he's so imperfect and funny and charming and caring and strong and loyal....Or as Percy would b

This one shot picks up where Rick Riordan left off before Percy and Annabeth fall asleep in the stables aboard the Argo II (So when they're cuddling). Warning: it's pretty fluffy.
"Shut up, Seaweed Brain. Just hold me for a while."
…Percy happily obliged and pulled Annabeth closer to him. Her body curved to fit his nearly perfectly and it was then that Percy realized how much he’d missed this, just lying next to Annabeth. Her soft hair brushed against his face feather soft, smelling of wildflowers and strawberries baking in the sun. If Percy closed his eyes he could almost imagine he was back at Camp Half-Blood, lounging in the strawberry fields with Annabeth like they used to do before…Well, before things had went bad.
Percy stuck his face into her hair and took a long whiff of summer. “You smell good,” he mumbled.
Annabeth laughed against him. “Good to know. You don’t smell too bad yourself.”

The voice was so loud and commanding that everyone in the crowd who had only just been greeting Jason turned their attention toward the gangplank of the Argo II. On it was a rather small girl (small for the size of the voice that came out of her mouth) with curly blond hair and gray eyes so piercing they could be seen clearly from people on the very edge of the gathering.
She had placed her hands firmly on her hips and was glaring into the crowd at one person in particular: the newly elected praetor, Percy Jackson. When she spotted him, her eyes narrowed and she stormed down the plank. The crowd parted around her as if she were bending them all back with sheer willpower, until no one stood in the way of her and Percy.
It escaped no one's notice that Percy managed to cower quite effectively in front of this girl who was obviously not to be underestimated.
The girl marched toward Percy.

I bolted upright, shivering with cold sweat. Looking around the Athena cabin, I soon came to a realization: it was just a dream. It was just a dream, I told myself over and over while I sat on my bed with my arms around my knees and a hot quilt around my back, sticky with sweat. Then again, it's never just a dream when your a half-blood, is it? I shook my head to clear my own thoughts, but I knew it was true. I sat there in eerie silence for a minute, listening to the soft breathing and snoring of my half brothers and sisters. Then I heard a quiet voice to the left of my bunk.
"Annabeth?" I looked to see Rory, a 13 year-old son of Athena staring at me from behind his glasses. "Are you okay?" he asked.
"Oh,... um, ya I'm fine. Sorry, Rory, did I wake you up?" I replied , trying to keep the trembling out of my voice.
"Mmm-hmm,..." he said tiredly. "You were screaming and stuff, I was about to wake you up..." he mumbled. "Are you okay, though? I got kinda scared..."

She went back to reading the letters she received, and this time it was about a guy from the First Cohort who wanted to ask her out. She snapped her fingers, and Aurum instantly appeared at her side. She gave the piece of paper to the dog, who happily chewed it into bits like it was a dog bone. Reyna smiled and muttered, 'Good dog,' and gave him a pat on the head.
Leo, meanwhile, was still awaiting her answer on why she doesn't ever wear lipstick. Reyna noticed thi

HERE WE ARE NOW
EVERYTHING IS ABOUT TO CHANGE
It was August 18th, just hours after the battle in the Empire State. I was sitting in my cabin thinking about what had just happened with Percy and Luke. About how I have denied my "love" for Luke, realizing that I really do love Percy. About how I'd realized how important Percy is in my life. About how I wanted to cry when he got the offer of becoming a god, when I thought I'd lose him forever.
That could've been a twist I don't want in my life at all.
WE FACE TOMORROW AS WE SAY GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY
But that's it, I'm going to hell him how I feel, I don't care if he doesn't feel the same way about me. Even if he ends up with that red-head Rachel (urgh .) at least he'll know how I feel about him.

"Hey," he said coming up behind her. "Why aren't you inside partying with all the others?"

She turned and punched him in the shoulder. "Shut up, Seaweed Brain."
He smiled and lifted one of her hands off her necklace, threading their fingers together. "Well I think the amazing Miss Chase deserves at least one victory dance of the night."
She stared at their twined hands. "You know, technically its morning."
Percy rolled his eyes. "We're dancing," he pulled her close. "Even if you don't want to."

Needless to say, Percy Jackson did not expect to be a father by the time he was twenty years old. But he had never been happier. He honestly wished Annabeth hadn't wanted to wait a year before having kids.
Parenthood had its trials, though. Neither of them knew exactly how to raise a child, seeing how Percy was raised in part by an abusive step-father, and Annabeth had run away when she was seven. Fortunately, there were two immortals, four mortal parents, and an entire camp to help out. That little princess was probably the most spoiled girl on the planet. And she had all the skills of her parents.
She was a genius. She was a quick fighter. She could control water. She was as cunning as her mother. And as good at sucking-up as her father. Which is why Percy could never tell her no.

"Never," he said. He looked up at Nico, fifteen feet above. "The other side, Nico! We'll see you there. Understand?"
Nico's eyes widened. "But"
"Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!"
Below them, the voice laughed in the darkness. Sacrifices. Beautiful sacrifices to wake the goddess.
Percy tightened his grip on Annabeth's wrist. His face was gaunt, scraped and bloody, his hair dusted with cobwebs, but when he locked eyes with her, she thought he had never looked more handsome.
"We're staying together," he promised. "You're not getting away from me. Never again."
Only then did she understand what would happen. A one-way trip. A very hard fall.
"As long as we're together," she said.

Percy watched as Annabeth bent down to retie her shoe laces. Her tan nimble fingers worked crossing the laces almost effortlessly. But her gray eyes were steady, concentrated on what she was doing. She paused to push a strand of golden hair away from her face and he noticed how the sun cast shadows along her cheekbones. He wondered how such a simple task could become beautiful just by the person performing it.

Percy paused in the process of capping his sword. For the past few minutes, he had been amusing himself by uncapping his pen, letting the ball-point tip transform into his bronze-bladed sword, Riptide. Then he would recap it and watch the blade shrink back down. And then he would repeat. Over and over again. Annabeth thought she was going to go mad if she had to hear the ring of the metal and the click of the cap one more time.
Percy gave her a sheepish look and placed his pen-sword in the front pocket of his jeans. "Sorry," he said, unconvincingly.
Annabeth rolled her eyes and went back to staring with increasing frustration at the architectural designs laid out messily in front of her. She was attempting to get some work done on the reconstruction of Olympus, but so far it wasn't working out too well; the side notes and calculations had started floating off the page and twisting themselves
