The Heroes of Olympus
"Who even is Rachel? I've never met her."
That awkwardly broke the silence as four girls sat in a helicopter, which was currently soaring over the east coast of Philadelphia. They were all dressed in casual clothes well, all accept one, who was so particular with her clothing that she had decided to dress formally for the occasion.
The blonde girl looked up, still holding a plain envelope. Her startling stormy grey eyes seemed darker than usual, "Rachel is our Oracle. She is a bit well, eccentric," said Annabeth. She glanced back down at the envelope she admitted that she wasn't on the whole excited about sleepovers. It was a gathering of girls, where, for the most part, they talked about celebrities and make-up and boys. Not really her cup of tea.
Not to mention Annabeth took a peek at the formal girl sitting opposite her: praetor to the Twelth Legion and Roman through and through, Reyna, the daughter of Bellona. Sh

Percy paused in the process of capping his sword. For the past few minutes, he had been amusing himself by uncapping his pen, letting the ball-point tip transform into his bronze-bladed sword, Riptide. Then he would recap it and watch the blade shrink back down. And then he would repeat. Over and over again. Annabeth thought she was going to go mad if she had to hear the ring of the metal and the click of the cap one more time.
Percy gave her a sheepish look and placed his pen-sword in the front pocket of his jeans. "Sorry," he said, unconvincingly.
Annabeth rolled her eyes and went back to staring with increasing frustration at the architectural designs laid out messily in front of her. She was attempting to get some work done on the reconstruction of Olympus, but so far it wasn't working out too well; the side notes and calculations had started floating off the page and twisting themselves

"What? Did you say something, Percy?"
"Nothing, just having a monologue."

Percy pulled Annabeth on top of a hill and told her, "Look."
She did, and she relieved why Percy had brought her up here. She could see the entire valley below them, the military encampment, which gleamed in the morning sun, the Little Tiber, which the Romans had told her the small river was called, looked like liquid diamonds, and New Rome, with its inhabitants just starting to wake up, looked more beautiful to her than Olympus at that moment.
She looked at Percy's face at that moment, and saw how his green eyes flickered as the sun reflected off of them, and said, "It's beautiful, but that's not the only reason you brought me up here, is it?"
He looked at her, and grabbing her waist, brought her closer to him. "No, it's not Annabeth," he said staring her straight in the eye. "Demigods can stay in New Rome. They can be safe and go to college," he paused and said quietly. "And they can raise a family."
Annabeth's eyes widened. She gulped, and looked back at New Rome, and i

Percy was silent for a minute. Then he let out a groan. "Why do you always have to be right, Wise Girl?"
She laughed wrapping her arms around his waist. "I told you, I'm always right and you're usually wrong." Percy rolled his eyes, but remained quiet, he had nothing to prove her wrong.
"What constellation is that one?" Annabeth suddenly asked, lifting her hand and pointing to an cluster of stars.
"That's Andromeda. Poseidon (Not Neptune right?) had sent Cetus, monster, to attack Ethiopia after Cassiopeia had bragged that she was more beautiful then the Nereids. Her father, Cephus, found out that the only way to stop the monster was to sacrifice his own daughter, so Andromeda was chained to a rock by the sea. But after arriving from defeating Medusa, Perseus turned Cetus into stone - "
"And, therefore, saved Andromeda. Quite a hero, that Perseus," Annabeth finished, getting lost into the immense depths of the night sky and its many stars. "But I still think you're more impres

Leo had forgotten all about his best friend's birthday, probably the worst mistake he could have made.
He'd left Jason's gift back at the bunker; if he could go get it quickly
He heard a clanking whirring sound behind him and turned to find Buford just behind his cabin. A drawer popped open to reveal the gift.
"Dude," Leo said, "You are the best table in the history of furniture."

it was a cold febuary day at camp half-blood. i was standing on the porch of the big house, watching all the guys running around the fields-from their cabins to the camp store then back to their cabins- trying to see if they had picked the best valentine gift for their girlfriend/crush.
yep, that's right. i said it. valentines day. the time of the year where all the aphrodite campers run around putting pink, red, purple and white silk sashes all around the camp. covering everyone's cabins-including the ares campers- and placing flowers and cut outs of hearts that will talk to you about what gifts would be best to get. yeah, creepy. though, not as creepy as the singing flowers that can make puppies grow from their roots if your lover wants a pet. yeah~, not the best time of the year.

"Alright! Everybody there is something very special tonight, a group of young demigods has suggested that they could form a band for tonight's campfire. All they're missing is a singer. Is there anyone here who would like to volunteer?" Chiron's voice echoed as the campers fell silent, their eyes filled with the flickering of the flame. Then murmurs rose up when it sank in that he wasn't kidding. They debated on who would go, but no one would volunteer. Chiron's smirk grew on his face as his plan was going exactly as it should. He turned around to the band and told them his plan. They nodded and agreed, devilish smirks replacing the wide smiles.
"Percy! Could you come up here please? I should like to talk to you about something." Percy thought that this was meant for someone, but he let the thought slip as he walked up to Chiron. He heard a bleep from the crowd and found Grover with his hands on his face, trying not to laugh. When he finally got up to Chiron, he whispered, "Percy, do y

She told him her image of how she would like to model Olympus, and he tried to listen to her every word.

I giggled as Percy made a funny face at me from his table. I loved that idiot, for some unknown reason, and the Aphrodite girls knew it, making kissy faces at us, but we didn't care. To Percy...we were just friends. Best friends. ...Right?
After dinner, I was still at the Athena table, sketching a blueprint for Apollo's statue. It was the summer after the second Titan War, and I was almost done re-designing Olympus, except for Apollo's temple, Hera's temple, and a few mistakes I had to fix.
I felt strong arms wrap around my waist from behind, as I stood, trying to figure something out, and I blushed, dropping my blueprints to look at who the mystery man behind me was. I smelled his musky scent of seawater and Axe: Dark Temptations (Which really is tempting), to see Percy Jackson, and his almost flawless face. Chapter 1- Annabeth POV
Annabeth knew she was awake without opening her eyes. And as she looked at the back of her eyelids, she was mesmerized by the memory of last night playing over and over again, making it seem as if it were real. She felt something soft around her waist, making sure she didn't go anywhere though the night. She smiled at herself as the grip tightened, pulling her closer to her boyfriend lying next to her in his bed. She turned, making sure not to break the embrace, to face him. And without opening her eyes, she kissed him. Something is off, she thought as her brain usually did 24/7. But what? This thought was lost to the others as she giggled and said, "I love waking up to that. And I love you." The thought resurfaced as her voice sounded hoarse and deep.
She unwound the arms constricting her and very hazily walked toward Percy's bathroom to wake her up. Now she did what she did every morning; splash her face with cold water.

Piercing wails tore through Percy's mind, dragging him into consciousness. Hisses and whines seemed to wisp through every part of his brain as if a thousand monsters were being tortured inside his head. Reluctantly, he opened his eyes and saw nothing but blurred shadows. Where exactly am I? he thought, barely cognizant. Percy had to blink a few times for his vision to sharpen. He listened to the sounds that seemed not to be coming from his surroundings but from his own mind. Tartarus..?
He then became aware of his body as the sense of touch and feeling crept back, pushing away the numbness. A warm weight was on his chest and he looked down only to shudder as a wave of pain shot through his skull. With a sharp intake of breath, Percy suddenly felt as if his back was on fire and his head run through with an axe. Spots danced across his vision and he quickly succumbed
