A Ponyville WeddingThe town was abuzz with chatter. Ponies from all over Ponyville were gathering outside the town hall, hoping to catch a glimpse of the people who entered or left the building. But their anticipation would have to wait as the ceremony had yet to begin.
It had been many months since news had reached the town, that a wedding would take place. An what a wedding it would be. The pegasi, under Rainbow Dash's instructions, had cleared the skies above town of any clouds that might rain today. As such, they could not have chosen a more gloriously sunny day on which to hold the proceedings.
And the wedding was not the only exciting news for the townsfolk. For rumour had it that a very important pony would be conducting the ceremony. Princess Celestia herself was arriving n town to marry the lucky couple, alongside her sister Luna. That in itself was gossip-worthy info. The two princesses had not set hoof in Ponyville since the changeling incursion a year ago. And many were grateful th

It had only been three days since she and her friends had arrived in the city, and thus only three days since her colt-firend, Dusk, had asked her that very important question. Twilight decision was not something that she regretted. On the contrary, it made her all the happier. But now that she'd made her decision, there were many things that needed to be sorted out. And one of those things was exactly why she was walking down the city's main street.
For as she continued down the road, she eventually came upon her destination. The royal palace of Canterlot. This place had, during much of her upbringing, been like a second home to her. And it always made her happy to see it. Walking up the main stairs, she eventually came upon the massi

Princess Cadence, having finally been given some time off from her ambassadorial duties, was relaxing in one of the many gardens of the palace of Canterlot. She was sitting on one of the many benches in the park, watching happily as her two children, Star and Blaze, playing with each other on the grass nearby. Star was having fun teasing her younger brother by flying above him and Blaze jumping up and trying to catch her.
Cadence allowed herself a moment of pride. It was unusual for foals to develop their abilities this young, but both of her children had gained a degree of control over their magical abilities, despite only being a couple of months old. And with Star she had also managed to succeed at some rudimentary flight. But then, Star was an alicorn after all.
The princess looked to her right and saw her other family nearby. Her husband, Shining Armour, was taking with his sister, Twilight, who had come by to the city for a vi

Princess Cadence was lying on a wheeled table, being moved quickly down the hallway of the hospital, her belly swollen over the last few months. Today was the day. Alongside the doctors was her husband, Shining Armour, who had her hoof in his as they kept moving.
"It's okay honey! Everything's going to be fine!" He said reassuringly.
Cadence smiled back at him. She opened her mouth to reply to him but suddenly winced and she placed her free hoof over her midriff. This clearly caused the doctors some worry.
"Her contractions are getting more frequent! Call in more nurses!" One of them ordered.
A nearby nurse nodded and ran off to carry out the order. Meanwhile, the rest of them had finally arrived at their destination, the delivery room. They opened the doors and moved the table and princess inside. As they moved in. One of the doctors stepped aside and stood between Shining and

Twilight Sparkle was standing in the middle of the main room of the library, waiting for the young dragon to come out of the kitchen. Soon enough, he arrived, carrying the tablemats she'd been asking for.
"Yep. They're right here." He said.
She smiled as Spike began placing them around the large table twilight had conjured up soon before. She looked around and admired her work. She, Spike and Dusk had spent the last few days making sure everything here was clean and orderly for the big upcoming visit. And she was confident everything would go right.
"I still can't believe it. Shining AND Cadence! Here together for the first time since their wedding!" Twilight exclaimed happily.
It had only been declared a few days ago, but she was still happy about it. Shining Armour and Princess Cadence had managed to find space in their schedules to visit her in Ponyville. She'd been looking forward to it all week. Her smile vanished however as

Dusk, had already awoken, but he refused to open his eyes, instead opting to enjoy this moment of comfort. He could lie in this bed all day if he had a choice, but the day itself seemed to have other plans. For not long after, a bird outside the window began to sing its morning song. Although somewhat irritated by this disturbance, Dusk nonetheless opened his eyes.
The sight which greeted his was a pleasant one. He had awoken in a magnificent bedroom, in a cottage way outside of the Ponyville area. The room was well furnished and the window opened to a spectacular view of the rising sun, whose light now filled the room with it's glow. He could not deny that this was quite a sight to wake to. He'd have to thank Celestia when he saw her next. Thank her for this wonderful honeymoon gift.
And speaking of which, that reminded him of another pleasant sight which greeted him as he tu
Twilight's regretShe had worked hard this week. As much as she'd grown used to it, she still felt tired at the end of every day. Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Equestria. It had been many years since she had ascended to the role of Princess, becoming an alicorn in the process, and still the change had never stopped shocking her. The level of magic she had been able to achieve since her transformation was astounding. And not only that, but ponies from far and wide came to view her as a teacher. It brought a smile on her face to see young colts and fillies come to ask her questions and learn from her. It reminded her very much of how she was when she was their age, learning from her own mentor.Twilight's regret2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
But it was not merely new experiences that this title had afforded her. In her years since her coronation, she had also experienced many physical changes that came with being an alicorn. The most obvious of which was, of course, her size. She had grown quite tall, towering over almost any other pony in Equestria, m

But then, they had good reason to be happy. For this was hearts and Hooves day. And on this day, like it was every year, love was in the air. Mares and stallions alike spent the day with their "very special someponies". You could not go two steps forward without laying your eyes on some happy couple enjoying each others company.
But sitting on a grassy hill in the middle of the park, was one pony who did not have a smile upon his face. A white stallion with a blue mane, wearing a rather ornate red uniform of a captain, who sat there on the top of the hill, and was experiencing worry like never before.
Over the course of his time as a member of the royal guard, he had been against many things that might cause other ponies to quake with fear. He had faced down raiding parties of dogs without hesitation. He's fended off hydras and manticores. He

The sky began to dim as the fiery orb descended upon the horizon. Within moments, it was gone, and the land of Equestria was now deprived of it's light and warmth. There was a time when that would be the end of Celestia's daily duties, but these days, there was one final task she had to perform. Turning around, she now faced the east.
Closing her eyes once more, her horn began to glow again as she focused her power into moving yet another important part of the world. Slowly, the pale white orb rose above the eastern horizon until it hung gracefully in the night sky. What followed was a swarm of tiny dots of light which surrounded the orb and the blackn

His chest heaved with difficulty with each gasp of air becoming more shallow than the last while something clung tightly on his throat. His hoof grasped his neck to feel his Cutie Mark Crusader's cape. He had forgotten that he had put it on, but now it was choking him. Grasping at the knot, he tore it off, flooding oxygen into his lungs. He coughed loudly and painfully, gasping for a while before he sunk his head back to the cold floor. Taking the moment to catch his breath, his green eyes darted around, searching his surroundings. He was inside a small warm bedroom, not the cool basement where he once was. Deep inside the Everfree Forest, far away from all civilization, the thundering echoes of magic roared over the ambient chirps of the hidden wildlife surrounding Andromeda and silenced their calls. Sweat poured down her forehead in icy streams as she breathed heavily. Her eyes were bloodshot and her legs felt weak underneath her exhausted body. Every ounce of her might was being channeled into her spell, but it continued to defeat her again and again until the resolve to use magic began to shatter inside of her.
“No, no, no!” she said aloud, shaking her head. “It has to work! It just has to!”
Dirt and moss covered her hooves as she shifted them into a braced position. Slowly, her horn began to glow from a bright yellow to a blinding white. A massive gust of wind blew everything around her like a small hurricane while sparks of blue electricity shot from her horn as usual. E

He had almost forgotten where they were until his mind fully adjusted to consciousness again. There were in the Apple farm treehouse.
How they had made it here, he couldn't remember, but at this point he didn't care as his sky-blue eyes scanned his slowly darkening surroundings. The room was full of crayon-drawn posters in a stack, a picture frame, and various other things. This did not look like the setup Berry knew as a colt or saw recently, reminding him what Bismarck said about how they had traveled back in time.
If there was any proof, the pictures and drawings of and by Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom in the room confirmed it. He approach

She approached the stone and gently sat down. Her gaze never left the etchings, which had been partly obscured by moss and ivy. Carefully, making sure not to damage thje stone, she used her hoof to brush the plants away, revealing the markings more clearly. As she looked upon them, her expression, which until then had been fairly stoic, eventually began to morph into one of pain. Her eyes shut tightly as they began to well up.

Zecora's eyes snapped awake and her body jerked from the sound of twigs snapping outside of her house, nearly making her fall out of bed. Getting up, the zebra made her way to the door slowly, ready for any intruder who may cross her path. Anything could be in the Everfree Forest and she was too smart to take chances. Listening carefully, she could hear voices outside.
"Yes, Flora, I think we are in the past." a voice whispered in mid-conversation. "Whatever my brother did, it caused a chain reaction that sent us all through time."
"But how far back?" a small squeaky voice asked. That one must have been "Flora."

Bucky, Orion, and Peach Cobbler were in a situation now. Not only had they inadvertently sent themselves and possibly their friends and family back in time, but now they were on the brink of erasing their own existences. Not only had they already run into the original Cutie Mark Crusaders, but now they had been invited to join them in the annual Ponyville Field Day. Bucky especially felt the pressure of secrecy thanks to his relation to Apple Bloom. Alone for the moment as Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle left to train for the event, the new CMC began to discuss just how deep in trouble they were.
"Of all the ponies in all the world," Bucky muttered, "I walk into mah aunt."
"We've got to be more careful, guys!" Peach added. "If we run into our moms the same way as we did with these guys..."
"We can kiss our flanks goodbye." Orion said, finishing her thought.
The three were in agreement. They could

The crackling of a hungry fire begged to be fed, it's warm glow casting across the carpeted room. Licks of flame danced rapidly back and forth, creating a battle of light versus shadow across the faces of the two quiet girls as they stared into the wondrous light show. An earie calm had fallen upon them hours ago, and neither did anything to break it. They simply waited; warm mugs of hot chocolate in hand, listening to the same several songs repeated time and time again over the weak radio.
Raising the mug to her lips, Rainbow took a small sip of the sugary substance before once again lowering it, and peaking to her left to see Applejack doing the same. They sat side by side, cross legged on the old carpeted floor. For a moment Rainbow opened her mouth, preparing to speak, but quickly decided against it and returned to her drink with a heavy sigh.
"They ain't comin'," Applejack's eyes darkened as she spoke. "Are they."

A pearly smile spread across the listeners thin face, as she rummaged through her carefully packed bag; a set of delicate fingers checking off the final items from the list. It felt like an eternity since Celestia had spoken, but no amount of passed time could make what she'd said any easier to swallow. It wasn't true, Twilight told herself. This was some sort of joke. Radiance's sapphire eyes bagged from lack of sleep as the sun's orange rays shone through the windows and cracks of the Apple family barn. Rest had eluded her all night thanks to the mix of pain from her broken leg and the vivid activity in her spinning mind. As she watched Bismarck's orange chest rise and sink slightly with quiet breaths, she continued to wonder to herself if this was all just a bad dream. So much had been happening to her that she felt like she couldn't even begin to cope. Within a day, she had gone back in time, broken her leg, gotten caught in a violent storm, possibly lost two of her best friends to that storm, and now the one who wouldn't turn back to find them was sleeping across from her. Pure anger burned inside her at the thought of Bismarck leaving Berry and Cherry to die. Everything in her wished she could stop him.
"How could you?" she asked aloud, knowing he couldn't hear
