For spirit day. I'm a proud lesbian and I get bullied a lot for it. I recently did a speech for a project me and my friends are setting up, 'The Colours Of The Rainbow' which is a community group for anyone who's getting bullied for their sexuality / needs help in 'coming out'.
Spirit Day is an international event to raise awareness of bullying and help prevent it in all forms. The day was started in 2010 as a response to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth who took their lives due to bullying. To get involved, paint your avatar purple, show support for your fellow deviants, spread the word, and submit your artwork to the gallery below to honor Spirit Day!
Spread spirit day and help to stop all the bullying in the world. Everyone is human and should be all treated human, whether straight, gay, bi, lesbian, or trans. No one should be bullied for who they are.
This isn't exactly the greatest drawing but I wanted to do something to support this day. I just wanted to to do something to let people know it's okay to be different. If anyone of you are in need of someone for anything like bullying or problems, you can talk to me and I'd be happy to listen and help as much as I can. Even if it isn't a problem, if you just want to talk to someone, I'm here.
EDIT: okay guys, I drew this because I support the victims who are bullied. I had to disable the comments because it was going out of control with saying that "you're not supposed to support this" and "bullying wont stop just because you posted this". I know it wont stop bullying, i just want to give out a helping hand to those who need it. People who are telling me that this is wrong should just leave then. I don't need people telling me my opinion is wrong. I support what I want to support. I get that you can say saying opinions are good and all but this has just gone out of control. Let people do what they want with their lives and be who they are, not people who you want them to be.
To those who are giving me well written comments, thank you and I'm sorry i had to disable them
