It didn't matter which twin you chose right? As long as one went to help with Tamaki...right?
You knew the difference between the twins, you knew they were individuals as much as you and Haruhi were as well as twins. You could tell them apart with ease, and never failed at the 'which one is Hikaru game'. Maybe that's why the three of you were so close... But anyway, even though you knew they were different, that didn't impact on your choice. Why would it, it's not like you had a preference for one of them... right...?
Shaking your head to get rid of the thoughts that were clouding your mind and causing you to blush ever so slightly, you picked an arm to loosen. Gently you withdrew your arm that was linked with Kaoru's ever so slightly.
The boys eyes flicked towards you at the movement, understanding your choice. He nodded at you, taking his arm back completely. He turned to face Haruhi and jogged off to go help her.
"Well well, it's just you and me huh?" Hikar

The boys' eyes widened at your hostile tone; your voice had come out as a low growl due to your throat being dry from lack of water. The short, black haired man seemed unfazed by your hostility and continued to stare at you with cold eyes.
"We seek shelter," the black haired man replied in a monotone voice. His grey eyes continued to bore into yours as he slightly nodded his head in the direction where Jean sat. "We have an injured soldier who needs medical aid."
You ceased the staring contest with the short man after a moment of silence, by throwing your dagger into the ground by your bare feet. You let out a grunt and curtly nodded your head at the men.
"(First Name)," you said simply.
The black haired man remained silent for a moment, before replying in a bored tone, "Levi."
"I'm Eren Jaeger," the brunette said.
"Jean Kirschtein," the injured one said, smirking at you.
"A-Armin Arlert," the blonde one stuttered.

BathingIn the quiet forests of Doriath, the sunlight was falling dappled through the leaves high above. The birds were singing, the branches were rustling, small animals were hopping happily through the undergrowth. A slight breeze whispered through the trees, and a small brook murmured nearby. Galadriel, however, was unable to enjoy it.
"I feel disgusting," she complained, pulling sharply on her reins to steer her horse around a small bush. "Do you people never wash?"
Her Sindar guides looked offended, but were unsure how to respond. She was a high lady of the Noldor, after all. As usual when in need of guidance, they turned to their lord.
Celeborn sighed quietly and gave Galadriel a mild smile. "We will be in Menegroth very soon, my lady. Be assured that King Thingol's halls have very beautiful baths."
A frown marred the loveliness of Galadriel's face. "We will be in Menegroth in two days. I feel disgusting now." She huffed out a breath and pulled her

Where should I start but here? I sit here alone, at Frederyks old piano which faces the window. I will not touch the keys and butcher their musicality with my non-ability to harmonize, or play music in general. Right now, there are tears running down my face, and words dying on my lips. However, these words shall live on paper. This short story is meant only for one pair of eyes: mine. But I should start with the background.
Chopin was my friend, and I did love him, more than I have ever loved a man- yet I had basically thrust him into the arms of another with my big mouth and my in

Today was a day dedicated to training, every recruit was to train in hand-to-hand combat by order of Commander Erwin. The training was to be conducted with partners. You dressed yourself in your uniform, harnesses and all and headed out of your room. On your walk to the training ground, a voice called your name and you spun around to meet the familiar voice.
"Hey, ______! Wait up!"
"Oh, good morning Armin!" you greeted the small blonde haired boy.
"Good morning! Are you heading off to the training grounds now?" You nodded. "May I walk with you? Eren's run off of me this morning and I don't know where Mikasa is either. Eren seemed very eager to start training today," he explained to you.
"Sure. I could use some company," you told him while donning your warmest smile.
The two of you walked, conversing the whole way to the grounds. He told you stories about his favourite books and auth

After the tension felt between you, Levi and Eren during training, it was becoming too much for you. You admitted to yourself that you had, unconditionally an irrevocably, fallen in love with the two men. Despite the original plan being to make Levi jealous had worked nonetheless, you felt as though you were making Eren jealous at the same time. His attitude towards you was too close for comfort sometimes, well maybe not that, more so realistic. Eren's actions towards you did not feel fake or forced. It was genuine and you were confused, lost and above all, you were frustrated.
"This is ridiculous. I can't love both of them. It's not right, is it?" You muttered to yourself.
Running your hands through you hair, you let your head fall into your hands, resting on your knees. You let a heavy si

Why Do We Love the Lord of the Rings?
Have you ever been rambling on about Frodo and Sam's amazing friendship, or Gandalf's awesome sword-fighting moves, or Aragorn's strong need of shampoo to a non-LOTR friend or relative and suddenly been asked 'For crying out LOUD! What is so great about that story anyway???' and you stop. And think about it. And a rush of words and reasons come flooding into your head all at once and you can't make head or tail out of any, so you end up saying something dumb like, 'I dunno' when really you do know, but it's a feeling you just can't explain. Maybe even a stirring of your heart, that makes you long for the goodness and purity of Middle Earth, the honour and justice, the mercy and truth, the self-sacrifice and faith, perserverance in the midst of tragedy, and, perhaps most of all, good fighting against evil, and winning.
As C.S.Lewis once said; ' If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation i

Gimli enjoyed exploring. Gimli's father, Gloin, had raised him on tales of Thorin's expedition for the Arkenstone. Gimli wanted to follow his father's footsteps, maybe even surpassing them. His own journey was nothing like his childhood daydreams. It was wearing, terrifying, miserable, difficult, and often boring. He relished every second. That was why he accepted the elf's invitation to sail west to Valinor.
Gimli would travel farther than any other dwarf before or after him. He had not realized that he would be the only dwarf on the continent. It seemed silly, but he did not consider how alone he would feel. He missed his family, but it was the small things that drowned him in nostalgia. He missed drinking a pint of ale by the firelight; he missed seeing faces with real beards, not sissy elf-beards; he missed sitting in a chair where his feet touched the ground.
Gimli's friends did their best to make him feel at home, but it was not enough. Legolas was always good company, but he did

"They were just children!" Elwing shrieked, viciously pushing her cousin away.
"Elwing " Celeborn attempted to console his young relative, but she refused to be comforted.
"You left them! You left and now they're gone." The young elith collapsed on the ground, sobbing. She clutched her stomach, fighting the physical agony which assailed her. Agony and guilt. She should have been there. She should have made certain her brothers were following. She should not have left them.
The attack happened so fast she could barely separate the jumbled, nightmarish events, but it seemed like slow motion at the time. The elves of Doriath knew that a battle with the sons of Feanor was possible. Elwing's father, King Dior refused to relinquish the silmaril he had inherited from his parents. They were prepared to defend Doriath, but they were not prepared for the savage brutality of the Noldor. The Noldor killed without conscience.

Betrayal of Morphine She was sitting beside the small boy's bed when he opened his shadowy eyes. The first thing he noticed was her hair: it was golden and glowing faintly. He couldn't remember if hair normally did that or not, but it hurt him to look at her; she, like sunlight, burned his eyes in the darkness. In the dim room, in his numb thoughts, the girl's hair looked like a halo, and he imagined he saw her unfold wings and fly away, but then he blinked and she was still there.Betrayal of Morphine5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
The first things the girl noticed were his eyes. They were dark and clouded with pain, flashing like a stormy sky or an emergency light on a sinking ship. They flickered like incandescents losing power; his pupils dilated as he blinked, struggling to focus on her. She looked at the IV meter indicating the level of failing platelets and morphine, and the machine hummed as she watched the blood swirl unfaithfully.

You had been tossing and turning all night after what Levi and Eren had proclaimed to you earlier on that very same evening. Your lips stung with a feeling you had never felt before. Grazing slim fingers over your lips as you continued to make a run for it, you recalled the clear visions both Levi and Eren kissing you passionately and intimately. You had woken up with a start after struggling to fall asleep that night. This only caused you to oversleep and waking up close to midday. You had found a note slid under your door which read the following:

Whispering started early on the Thursday morning. Carl Powers, second year Hufflepuff, had never made it to his common room or dormitory the night before. At first Sherlock didn't think much of it; kids were always getting lost. Still, it was usually the first years who took wrong turns on the staircases or got led astray by some of the cheekier ghosts. A second year, missing all night was not unprecedented, but it still wasn't normal.
By first break the whispers had increased, become distorted and salacious as long hours passed and Carl had not returned with a bashful smile or delivered to the infirmary with some minor injury.
"Someone saw him going down to the lake, is what I heard. He's a swimmer, you know...."
"I heard he's been visiting the head of Hufflepuff loads and he went to see the headmaster the other day. Wonder what that's about?"
"His parents were splitting up..."

A girl was born without a mother or a father,
Into a world which had stopped moving forward long ago.
She was found and raised by a nameless old man, who lived at the end of the world.
There stood castles and cities abandoned by mankind and forgotten by time.
The land itself was a relic of some distant past, covered in a shade of melancholic gray.
In that land, time flowed in a distorted way.
This in term, made the child grow up rather quickly.
Curious about her surroundings,
She left the house everyday, to explore and play in the ruins, which laid scattered along the wastes.
She had always known this distinct sense of solitude, never having seen another human being- Her only friends being the ravens, which were strangely drawn to her.
Flying in flocks, they always surrounded her wherever she went
Waiting for something to unfold.
The girl knew nothing about the old man or much less about herself.
She from time to time would ask him, but he would n

Even though Sherlock was fairly assured of his new friendship with John Watson he didn't expect John to come and talk to him at breakfast in the Great Hall on Monday morning. John only ate breakfast at the same time as other students four days out of seven, as the Gryffindor Quidditch team practiced on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays before lessons. Usually John would eat his breakfast and then chat with his (many) friends in Gryffindor or read whatever the owl had brought him.
Today though John sits down on the bench next to Sherlock, still eating a round of toast with jam, a cheerful "Good morning" mumbled around the bread. Sherlock is so surprised he closes the book he's reading (Brewing Charmed Possets from Everyday Kitchen Ingredients by Delilah Smythe) without marking the page.
"Morning." Sherlock replies. He's is acutely aware that all the students around them, particularly those sitting by the spot
