One Last TimeTime will take away many things from meOne Last Time11 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
But never will it steal the strong face I see
Of the man, the King, the only one for me
Forever I remember those who a home sought
And those who so willingly stood and fought
Those who lived and those who did not
Names will live in my soul and my heart
Proud sons of Durin never meant to part
I have cherished you all since the start
Wild raven Prince and quiet golden Heir
Fierce King doing what no other would dare
Taken too soon, death refusing to be fair
When the battle began I stood to help defend
And was there, holding my King's hand, at the end
Mending hurts and wrongs, parting as friends
Now the years have faded, like fog from the sea
I am old now, gone is my youth, and all I long to be
Is with those who have journeyed so long before me
I grow weary now so I'll just take a moment to rest
Maybe then I'll be with old friends from that old quest
Open my eyes to find my King smiling with gentle behest
Will you follow me? One last time?

Strong and brave and fair;
Fierce they are and proud,
Tall and dark of hair;
Filled with passion and iron of will,
A two edged sword this can be.
Never do they turn aside from their propose,
From no enemy do they flee.
Ache their hands do to craft and create,
Beloved of the Smith are they.
Burn their minds do for knowledge,
But into folly they sometimes stray.
Lovers of hills and open lands,
The Watchtower their first home.
Many other glorious kingdoms did they build,
Seven High Kings they have known.

Then a writer is a mighty man indeed
He is a master of words
And poetry is his creed
His simple phrases
Placed in simple rhyme
Twist thoughts and emotions
Like a child with twine
He can make you feel
Like the rough edges
Of a dragons bone
He can make you smell
Without a single breath
The cold rotting scent
Of a thing we call death
He can make you hear
A foreign sound
Like a loud-mouthed bard
In a renaissance town
It is with his words
He commits inception
With honest thoughts
And cruel deception
But before you know it
You will agree
With whatever he writes
Don't you see?
For the day is coming
When you'll find
That all your thoughts
Are from his mind
So heed this advice
Lest ye future grieve
The greatest lies
Are the ones you want to believe

For there is no love in them. We're not good enough for them.
It is gold and jewels they care for, It is purity and beauty they care for,
While we are the ones they condemn. Whereas we are the ones they condemn.
Dwarves only dig and seek riches, Elves only sing and do nothing,
They care not for the troubles we face. They care not for the troubles we face.
Only feasting and fighting amuse them, Only forests and starlight amuse them,

Wine until bottom
And pain of fame
He was my father
His anger like flood
We sealed our Oath
In fire and blood
The flame extinguished
By Oath we're still bound
Through tears and pain
No rest to be found
The blood on my hands
And my hand in chains
What was it for
When nothing remains?
The Light we sought, burns
So close, yet so far
We are not worthy
To touch a star
Burning flame, take me
And clean the stain
Take the cursed Jewel
And end my pain!
In fire it started
In fire it ends
Just like my father
The fire in my veins

Gandalf war’s, der Graue Weise.
„Frodo, Lust auf einen kurzen Flug,
Auf Adlers Schwinge, schnell genug?“
„Warum soll ich heut Nacht denn fliegen,
Wo auch im Bett ich könnte liegen?“
„Um Saurons Ring schnell zu vernichten,
So spar’n wir uns gar viel Geschichten.“
So flogen sie zum Schicksalsberg,
Sahen weder Ork noch Zwerg,
Ließen dann den Ring reinplumpsen
Hörten laut des Berges Rumsen,
Danach, sie flogen wieder heim,
Welt retten kann so einfach sein.

I used to chase boys
across the schoolyard
and carve their names into
the darkest depths of
my makeshift diaries;
I thought they were my
best kept secrets,
tucked away under the
corners of my mattress
(or so I thought until my mother
asked me exactly who
jonathan was and why
my tongue tripped
over his name.)
as I entered
my ripe and pungent
teenage years full of angst
and peer pressure
I found myself falling
or rather flailing
madly into love,
which the first one is
always the messiest
because we’re still not
quite sure what love is
except that it makes your
chest feel tight and
sitting in class next to your now
needless to say he was
neither the first nor last
boy to play with my heartstrings.
but now as I sit on the edge
of adulthood my feet dangling
precariously off its ledge,
the names and faces that
used to line the margins
of my notebooks
have faded to fond memories
and I’ve found myself

o' how lovely your person blossoms--
how full your mind is of wisdom.
Do you ever feel afraid, Capricorn?
Or do you chase away those fears?
Do you ever feel pain, Capricorn?
Or do you shelter it under that fake smile?
Do you ever feel alone, Capricorn?
Or do you tell them that everything is just fine?
Yes young Capri, you truly are the Goat to be!
Advice is always in your mind
and your intentions are pure.
But alas, young Capricorn, have you ever stopped to wonder--
who's the one in this relationship that truly needs advice?
(That heart won't beat forever you know.)

I wish I could say something else
To take away your pain
Please don't cry for me
For soon my love
I shall be
Nothing but a painful memory
I'll wipe your tears
Cradle your head whilst you sleep
My sweetest love
Won't you remember me?
Though I am not here
With you I shall be
Hold me close
Don't let me free
Keep me grounded
For a little while
Don't want to let go
I want to stay with you
Hold on to me
I'll sing you to sleep
As long as you
Keep me as your

There ancient lore of long-lost lands
Still lingers on in elven hands
In Rivendell, in Imladris

East of Sea few places remain
That grant such sure surcease from pain
In Imladris, in Rivendell
They shall not yet say their farewell
For even when all else may fade
Some light shall live, untouched by shade.

The Lover and the LionLover:The Lover and the Lion3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I am made of matchsticks and red ribbons and tiny
sparks of Saturday-morning duvet hopes ricocheting
around my brain into a pattern of torn petals from
daisies. Lovers are destroyers of flowers, we know
this. This is why we belong under trees and in wheat
fields, letting buttercups and dandelions grow between
our toes and around our shoulders. We are made to belong.
Whoever said that a lion is made by birth was
not telling anybody the whole truth. If you would
like to know how, when you stand up, when you roar,
does it feel right? Are you brave? Only the brave can be lions.
a sheep dressing itself in fur and mane will only convince its herd
that it is delusional. You can take the lion out of the desert,
but you will never take the desert from the lion.
Anyone who thinks otherwise must know that you cannot tame what is not willing.
I am made to serve my purpose. To hold anyone who is interested
in the palm of my hands and in the chambers of my heart, to chase

But that does not make me a radical fanatic who constantly shoves the Bible down your throat.
Yes, I Am A Christian,
And that can mean that no, I don't like abortion, nor do I like gay marriage. But, do remember, I am a human, and entitled to my own opinion.
Yes, I am a Christian,
But I do not believe that God will suddenly make things better, stop hunger, and end world suffering. I don't even count on Him to end mine.
Yes, I am A Christian,
and I do get angry at God. I get furious with Him all the time.
Yes, I am A Christian,
and I do not give all my belongings to the poor, nor do I preach on the side of the street.
Yes, I am A Christian,
So I am allowed to make mistakes.
Yes, I Am Christian,
but that doesn’t mean I don't fight back.
Yes, I Am A Christian,
but that does not mean I like to rape boys.
But, I'll tell you what I do like to do;
I pray for peace, for love and hope,
that one day, violence and agony will refuse to show.
That God will work through

Please watch over him
And bring him safe to me
Oh, beloved lights
Which shine in the dark night
Please warm his heart
So he can smile
Among you he shines
And with him
He takes my heart
Every time he leaves.
I wait on the cold shore
Every single morning
For him to come back
And only an embrace I wish
To keep me warm
Until his return.
Loved, yet lonely
I am, but who can tell
My bitter pain
Of knowing him so away
In the nights
And darkness so cold,
In a dreamless world?
