Nantucket - AmericaxReader
America glanced at the girl in his lap. He was shocked to see [e/c] staring intently at him. Or - more specifically - the gravity defying cowlick he sported on the front of his face.
Currently, the United States of America was cuddling on the couch in his apartment with [Name], the Country of [Country Name]. England and France would never let him live it down if they saw him, but he didn't care. The girl in his lap meant much more to him than that.
"Dude, whatcha starin' at?"
"The...that...whatever it is!" she sputtered, gesturing wildly at the piece of hair.
"Oh, Nantucket?" America laughed.
"The island of Nantucket! You know - my glasses are Texas, and my cowlick is Nantucket!"
Then, there was a flash of a [s/t] hand moving upwards, and America felt a light tug on Nantucket.
America suddenly sat up straight, his blue eyes slightly out-of-focused.
"Don't do that," America scolded. This made [Name] grin mi

You were standing in front of your bookshelf and flipping through several books, thinking about which to reread till large, strong arms wrapped around your waist. You heart jumped a bit because of the sudden touch.
"What do you want, Alfred?"
You chuckled, glancing over to your right to see the American's head resting on your shoulder. His baby blue eyes looked into your _(eye color)_ ones. Alfred chuckled and kissed your cheek, making you blush slightly. You were dating him for a while now, and you loved each other as much as your hearts can love.
"Why don't we do a game?"
"Well, I hope it's not twister. It didn't work well as you thought it would last time, right?"
"Aww, babe, it's because you cheated!"
You laughed, remembering the silly game the two of you played. Alfred wanted to play it because, cough, he wanted to. You closed the current book you were skimming through and slid it back in the bookshelf. You walked

"Hold it, Alfred! I'm taking a shower!" You hollered from inside the bathroom. Somehow, Alfred always seemed to catch you in the most awkward places, and today he just happened to find you in the only place you found peace.
"But (__f/n__) ~, I gotta peeee " He whined cutely, crossing his legs.
You sighed from inside the bathroom, "Fine, the doors already open, but no looking!" Alfred barged through the door and looked your way, "Don't worry! I promise I won't"
"ALFRED! I SAID DON'T LOOK!" You threw a bar of soap at him, which he dodged like a boss.
"Whoa, whoa! Okay, chill!" He said averting his eyes away with a nervous laugh. You were still sceptical to if he really needed to go to the bathroom or not. You were proven right when you watched his shadow on the curtain move closer and closer to the shower.

"Hey doll! Wait up!" Alfred, my boyfriend of 1 ½ years exclaimed to me. I turned around to face him, and was enveloped in a bear hug. I giggled a bit and inhaled his scent of Old Spice and McDonald's. It's a strange combination, I know, but as cliché as it sounds, he seemed to make it work. We stayed like that for a few seconds and then parted. He gripped my shoulders and looked at me. I looked back with a questioning glance on my face. He then asked, "Can you be my designated driver tonight?" I raised my eyebrows in surprise and then he continued, "I'm sick and tired of being England's DD every week! You sighed as you sat outside your school. It was Friday, and you wanted to go home. You, unlike everyone else in the school, had no plans to go to a party, & just wanted to relax at home. Unfortunately, neither one of your older brothers had swung by to pick you up yet.
You considered calling them, but you didn't want to act paranoid or anything. You checked your phone for the time. It read 3:15. You had only gotten out at 2:50, so it hadn't been long. You guessed you were just antsy & wanted to get home. just preoccupy yourself ___________, one of them will come by eventually. You thought, and pulled out your book & started to read.

With wide eyes you watched as the killer pulled out the silver blade out of the woman's chest, a big grin on his hideous face. He came closer to the camera, so only his bloody face was visible and then everything turned black and there was an earsplitting scream.

"I know," you answered back, still hiding your face in Alfred's chest. "It's over, right?"

You felt a light buzz in your left pocket, indicating you got a text message. You swiftly took out your expensive, useless phone and unlocked it. You found the message and opened it.

"Come on. Say it."
"I said no."
"Pleeeeeeease, _____." He begged.
"Okay." You gave a little shrug.
"Really?!" His face brightened up with hope.
Alfred dropped his shoulders and made some sort of whale noise to express his frustration with you. He had been following you around more recently and more persistently and it was starting to annoy you. It's not that you didn't want to say it. You really did. It's just that... you hated the feeling in admitting it. Saying those words made you want to run as far as your legs could carry you. Saying those words made your stomach twist in strange ways. Saying those word would mean giving yourself up to the wind. You promised yourself never to say those words.
"Just give up already." You said, tired of his fruitless effort.
"A hero NEVER gives up! I'll make you say it. Even if it takes me FOREVER."
This time it was your turn to make whale noises.
"Good luck with that." Your words dripping in sarcasm.

You had another bad dream, the 4th one this week, and this was starting to worry your roommate and your best friend, Alfred. The first night he woke up to crying at the foot of his bed, the second night he found you on the kitchen floor snuggling a loaf of bread, and the third night Alfred insisted you sleep in his bed with him. The 4th night Alfred again insisted that you sleep in his bed because it seemed to help some. When you woke up this time from your dream,

There was a mixed response from the class. Some students nodded their heads reluctantly, while others mumbled to themselves about how stupid this whole Secret Santa business was. Alfred knew that Christmas was your favorite holiday.
