I received my new clay cutters in the mail a couple of days ago, and I wanted to try out the cake sized one to see how it would work. Since this was a trial, I kept the cake simple - yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

Now I know that all my cakes will be 1:12 scale exactly. c: The cake stand is new as well - it came in with the little candy jar from the picture yesterday.

This will be listed in my store as soon as I get home from work tonight.

1:12 scale raspberry crepe cake with a side of raspberries and blackberries.

I love crepes. I love crepe cakes even more. So I decided to make a miniature crepe cake. c:

This was a learning process, and for the next one, I know what to do and what not to do - like make sure the edges of the crepes droop down like they do in the real version. Ah well, I still like this one. :D

Crepe cake is about 3/4" in diameter and made from polymer clay. :)

Just a closeup shot of the candy jar from the last picture. I didn't mean to have the candies inside swirl (they were supposed to lie in flat layers), but I love the way it turned out even more because of it. c:

I had a few pieces of clay leftover from my cheese charm order, so I took them and made some 1:12 scale cheese. :)

Cheddar, White Cheddar, Edam, Swiss, and Brie cheese, with some fresh baguettes.

I also kinda wanted to show off my new 1:12 wood crates. c:

The first pieces for the 1:12 dollhouse scale of my online store - 1:12 scale rustic baguettes.

I love making breads. The shading is the most fun part to do. C:

I should have quite a few more items ready to put in my store by this weekend - maybe even a few Halloween ones!

1:12 strawberry raspberry fruit tart.

I haven't made a tart in a while, and I wanted to try out a new way to make the crust. I like this way of doing it better than the way I was using previously. :)

Mini broccoli florets inside a bottle charm attached to a 17" stainless steel chain necklace.

Since the color was a little off, I couldn't use these as miniatures, so they're a necklace now. :) It really isn't so vivid - for some reason the picture makes them brighter.

I received my bundt cake pans yesterday. I had to try them out so I made this simple bundt cake. c:

The texturing is there but the camera won't pick it up. :/ I need to go a shade darker next time on the outside, as well as get the frosting more translucent (I messed up on it before and, instead of throwing it away, I tried to fix it with...mixed results). Cherries also need to be shinier and a tiny bit more translucent. Overall, I do like it though.

Plus I got to stage it in my new bakery furniture set. :la:

Forgot to mention the cake is just a tiny bit under 3/4". :)

Here is some broccoli as a break to all the sweets I've posted lately.

This was quite an experiment. :P I have no idea why it turned so neon green after I cooked it. And the dark green chalk on top got eaten up somehow. o/

But I guess as a little side on a food plate it wouldn't look too awful. Or popping them into a bottle and making a broccoli bottle necklace from it.

Definitely going to revisit this again when I get back next week.

Six 1:12 scale Halloween themed chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, topped with vanilla frosting and a piece of candy corn.

These will be available in my shop soon, and another set will be a part of my Halloween project. c:
