Zelink Family - UnpreparedWith a furrowed brow and a steady hand, Link gently tapped the chisel with his mallet, putting the finishing touches on an engraving in what was going to be the headboard of a brand new baby bed. After blowing away the leftover sawdust, he took a look at his work and sighed, relaxing his face. He thought it turned out fairly decently, this engraving of a loftwing spreading its massive wings in a gesture of protection, a common motif in Skyloft. He had figured that it would be an appropriate symbol of the Gods' protection of his and Zelda's highly anticipated little bundle of joy.Zelink Family - Unprepared3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Well, joy was just a part of the whole experience; there was also more than a little worry and anxiety involved. Link marveled at how brave his wife could be, carrying a child inside of her and dealing with the accompanying pain, sickness, and discomfort with a smile on her face. Every day he only confirmed his belief that his Zelda was the single stronges

Zelink Family - Father's SwordDaphnes always knew that his father was the greatest swordsman in the whole wide world. He'd grown up watching him spar with other knights from Skyloft, wielding the well-crafted steel blade issued to all knights with skill and grace. Whenever he saw his father with that sword in his hand, he could tell that the stories he'd heard about him being a hero were all true.Zelink Family - Father's Sword4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Something the boy had always noticed, however, was that knights of Skyloft would usually take great pride in their swords, often displaying them and keeping them well-maintained. His father kept his own sword usable, but he never seemed to pay it very much attention otherwise. It was kept sheathed in a cupboard, not displayed on their wall, and it was full of knicks and scratches the other knights usually tried to polish over. Daphnes once asked him why he didn't take care of his blade like the others did, to which he bashfully replied that he just didn't ever think a

HOME NEW HOME, part II
Outside the Shibusen building, the four people just coming out of it were in high spirits; for a free house, they had all their reasons to be. And to be theirs, only a single task was to be accomplished: to cleanse the house of the certain ill spirit haunting it. In too much haste they had forgotten to ask the required information against this threat, nonetheless their high enthusiasm made them forgot this important fact.
"Hop on guys!" Sahn said to the others. "We'll take my wheels!"

Pain and love, that's all I see on his face as his face, the face of my butler and lover, Sebastian Michaelis grasps my hand tightly. On the back of my palm beams the seal of contract between Alois Trancy and me, the deep blue ink marking my sin in this new life as a demon.
For the first time in my life I see the stoic and strong composure of Sebastian tremble as he opens his eyes, that pure crimson bearing into me. He grips my hand tighter, anger tearing into his expression as love masks it out of some sort of sick compassion. We talked about the "friendly" capture the flag and found out that between the five who were playing, only two would spend Christmas here. Great; in the good and the bad meaning.
Good meaning: there'd be fewer people at camp to disturb me.
Bad meaning: we'd be even more massacred, mainly because we'd be with minus two sons of Ares. They were one of my only hopes.
After we finished finding all the campers, by my counts, we got to the following conclusion: we wouldn't be massacred; we would be

Be it from pain, or just anguish from all life's hate.
I hate feeling like I'm about to cry, especially when I do,
Mostly how when it's in the little things, that I cry at like I do.
"What are you crying at?" Your poems to me, don't you realise?
"Why are you crying at them?" Because they're all lies.
I wish they weren't, and I wish I could believe them, I do,
But "I'm going nowhere"? You proved that wrong, didn't you?
Jennifer, I tell you again, that I love you,
But it hurts that you treat me the way you do.
I know it's not your fault, and I know we're back together,
But we broke up, and that stuff just doesn't heal right over...
Percy Jackson - Christmas 9I had no idea of how the Christmas dinner at camp would be. I better go after her and went out as well.
I sat on the nearest chair and leaned on the desk. My breath was heavy and I was shaking with rage. Redoing the count of whom ruined/almost ruined my week with Annabeth: mom, the Romans, the Hunters and now Piper. I understood her point of view; I would probably act the same way, but still, that was too much. My desire was to drown her until she takes back what she said, but I couldn't do that. I'd be acting like a bully, exactly as she said.

Link glanced up, slightly surprised by her sudden question. "Huh? Oh, yeah, that sounds great."
"I'll bring up some bread and jam, too," she said chipperly, straightening her dress before heading for the door. "Don't go snooping around in places you shouldn't while I'm gone, all right?"
Snickering a little at her joke, Link scratched his head. "I'll try," he replied in jest, "but I won't make any promises."
She flashed him a smile, then disappeared through the doorway and down the stairs.
Link leaned against the wall nearest to the door; now that she was gone, he had an opportunity to take a good look around her room. It was lovely little place, with bright floral-patterned wallpaper, plush, amaranth-colored carpet, and matching drapes which covered the window and bed. Throughout the room, Link could see li

He also couldn't understand why he had to wear his itchy pajamas; a thick, wooly outfit that covered every inch of him but his head. It was something Skyloftian children wore for most of the autumn and winter to protect them in its high-altitude, chilly climate, but Daphnes was also forced to wear it when the temperature dropped on the surface. Sure, it kept him warm, but he would rather be cold than itchy!

Kail turned, and his sky blue eyes lit up as he beheld his father. It was times like these that reminded Zelda of the striking resemblance he bore to Link. She could only imagine what he would look like as he grew in the years to come. "Papa!" he cried gleefully, running towards his father, arms outstretched. He launched himself at Link, who took the impact with as much grace as he could, laughing freely.
Link stood, and brought the child up to his shoulders, so that Kail was now higher up. The two year old shrieked with joy: he loved it when his father

But now I'm beginning to think
the reason for all my cries

The worst of all was his undeniable humanity. How imperfect he was! Once he had though, in his smokey cloud, that the low burn of the cigarette poison made him perfect and whole. All else was bound to fail. But it had fai
