A belated happy new year to you all, and I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and that this year brings you everything you hope for. Well we finally departed New Zealand, with some regret, and arrived back in the UK just before christmas. spent the time down in Worcestershire with family, and I have since moved up to West cumbria and started my new job, Dawn joins me in 12 days time, thank god, I miss her!
Anyway in the mean time here are the latest works that have taken my eye on deviant art, I have found them to be inspirational, and want to share that with you. We all learn from each other, thats what makes this community so great, these works shown here, have just that extra bit of teaching in them for me. I hope you enjoy and I hope you find time to visit their gallerys.

Below are the artists whose work has inspired me since my last journal entry. The selections made by no means cover everyone that deserves to be here. In time many many more will follow, as with each passing week I discover so many more talented creative people on here, that one journal entry could never do them all justice. So many of you out there are producing work that leaves me in awe, and it would be unfair of me not to acknowledge the creators of work that has caught my eye and imagination. This journal features some of the more recent works that have stopped me in my tracks. They are presented in no particular order, they are simply a selection that I believe need to be seen and acknowledged by others for their beauty, artistry and ability. Let's work to STOP bullying and prejudice of schoolchildren, teens and adults who are physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually or sexually different from what is accepted as society's "norm". Normal , after all, is just a setting on your clothes dryer. Let's embrace our diversity and the diversity of those around us. Let 2013 be the year we commit ourselves to kindness and embrace our own beauty and goodness as well as the beauty and goodness in all of those around us.

I made it the way I like my photobooks: Just photos no talking
-Book: Quality book with hardcover.
-Size: circa 28x21 cm.
-Pages: 26
-Prize: 40 euro, exclusive shipping costs. (I wish I could ask less but if I do it will actually cost me money.)
The costs that the Dutch post organisation asks for shipping:
-Within Holland: 3,00 euro
-Within Europe: 6,80 euro
-To other countries: 10,45 euro
Right now this is the only thing I'm selling of my photos, I don't sell prints.

A quick winter storm moved over Breckenridge, Colorado, leaving behind 31 inches of snow overnight. Soon the streets will be busy with eager tourists and locals alike, heading for the lifts to get their first runs.
