Chapter 16: Feathers and Drinking Don't Mix
People flooded in through the doors, steadily filling all the tables. Well, I suppose flooded was a bit of an over exaggeration. There were the people staying, they came down the stairs in their groups. And families out for the meal together, friends they appeared in dribs and drabs, but the place certainly filled up.
Rhia and I and Ki'ayran, the other night waiter were kept busy gathering orders and serving drinks and trying to keep the small children from playing in the fireplace. It wasn't lit yet, but it would be and Prett already had it set to his satisfaction.
Rhia's predictions were getting more accurate each day. She seemed to have a knack for knowing just what the night would be like.
"Leiri, I'm off now," Rhia said, untying her apron. "The guys I stay with we're going to see a play. You'll be ok?"
"Sure." I nodded easily. "Still got Ki, don't I?"
Ki'ayran looked up at the mention of his name a

The King of Almia and the Three Princes
Long before long, long ago, there was an old king who ruled over all Almia. The king of Almia had three boys; each of them crowned as a prince. The king was a kindly one who sought and thought of only peace for his kingdom. All he desired was harmony among his people and pokémon. But the three princes, being young and full of vigour, failed to restrain themselves. They fell into acrimony and fought with wild and reckless abandon. The old king, in much anguish and after great contemplation, banished the princes. The eldest son, cloaked in a raiment of red, he sent to a volcanic land. the second son, clad in fineries of yellow, the king sent to a desert land. the youngest son, dressed in liveries of blue, he allowed to stay. With the eldest princes gone the last child claimed the castle as his home. The king, once kindly, became wracked by anger, solitude and bitter guilt. Those feelings transformed his entire being. There is a tale told among the islands of Oblivia, of a time when the oracles threatened an uprising, a scheme designed to trap the whole world under their grasp, a plan so great that none should have been able to stand before it. Of course, someone did. Someone brave enough to traverse through temple mazes beset by raging pokémon and temple guards. Someone with powere and compassion enough to tame beasts and summon the Rainbow. Though time has forgotten his name, we know him as the Hero of Oblivia.
The oracles were there to harmonise the balance between people and pokémon, their armour helping to forge and seal bonds of emotion between them. And the Captain in charge of the oracles, to him was entrusted the Golden Armour with the power to move places and hold back the wearers time. For all time there was to be peace between people and pokémon, and a monument was built to this ideal outside the forest temple, before even the voice's stone was placed.
But as happen

In a way you flatter me
You have my schedule down
Is that a mold of my key?
I didn't mean to scream
It's just I didn't know
that you were waiting for me
Uh... could you plaese let me go.
It's not that I don't like you
you or your gun
It's just I left the stove on
and I've really got to run
your apartment is so lovely
with all the pictures that you keep
every one of me...
No, it's the dedication that makes me weep
how did you get a place like this
so close to the shore
and such a lovely view
Wha- I'm not heading towards the door.
Hey aren't you thirsty?
Isn't ther something you can do
that will distract you long enough
so I can escape from you?
The Tale of The Book-Dragon"Tzad! Tzad, where are you?" a young girl ran, laughing, towards the wall that separated the small village from the mountains. The Tale of The Book-Dragon6 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Something rustled in the bushes beside it and a small spotted wolf looked out. The girl laughed again and dived for it, tackling it further into the bush.
Rat paws scrabbled at her as a wolf tail whipped back and forth. Tzad was a strange creature, one most commonly known as a 'NightChanger'. They were made of the parts of three creatures, joined in the night by the wings of a fourth.
He made muffled squeaking noises and, as the girl let him go, produced two sausages.
"Tzad! You little thief!"
Tzad looked almost sorry, but then motioned for the girl to be quiet as his ears pricked up.
Voices drifted over from the other side of the wall.
"Mikhael, is the dragon willing to negotiate?"
"No, Tsieroth. It says they were gifted to it. It will not budge on that."
Someone paced closer to the wall.
"And there is nothing we can do to change that?"
"It would seem not," a

Certainly all I am to myself.

Hello, again! It's been a while since I last talked to you! Let's see where was I? Oh, yeah, the amusement park on the vacation day.
Anyways, I made my way past what seemed to be millions of people as I hurried to where I was supposed to meet my friends. Many people seemed to notice me; I have a humungous hunch why.
I can hear it now, "THOMAS OLIVER GUNGSTEN PROTECTED POKEMON!? BUT I THOUGHT HE NEVER WANTED ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM!! YOU DON'T THINK HE MAY HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A POKEMON TRAINER, DO YOU!?"
Yeah, yeah, that's what I thought. But, I was not gonna have any of that. One, I don't need any person teasing about me about it. Two, today was gonna be a great day! I couldn't wait for it!
I made a quick left, and pulled out some money out. 'Two dollars admittance' is what the sign said that I read near the entrance I had gotten too. I paid my toll to the man, said thank you when he let me in, and he smiled at me and said I was welcome. I ran into the park. Geez, talk about
The Makings of a TokorothThe dark is pressing in, around and against me. I struggle to make out much more than vague blurs as they hit the darkness I feel pain, and assume that they are part of me. In this dark, it's hard to tell what is what. The Makings of a Tokoroth4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
I reach up, and hit darkness above. Something sifts down, speckling the light blurs. At first it's only a light drift, and I scrabble at it, trying to break through, to see something. Then it cascades down and I shriek, covering my head with my arms, screwing eyes tight shut.
Something thumps above my head and I flinch. It hits again, more and more regularly. More specks fall, in bigger and bigger bits until it hurts to be hit by them. And then whatever is above me breaks completely and the darkness disappears, to be replaced by blinding light and if possible I can see even less.
Someone grabs me by the neck, by my thin covering, and lifts me from the hole. I mewl pathetically, flinching away from the light as I'm dropped onto the ground.

Told in Solé's POV:
"Hey..." Luno poked me in my belly. "Are you awake?" I groaned a little. "Solé..."
"...What?" I mumbled with my eyes closed.
"Never mind..." He said. "Yeah, well... Food's here..." I opened my eyes when I realized I actually was hungry. Luno smiled and shoved a bowl with Pokemon food to me. He stared at me as I started eating, Luno watching me. After a while I couldn't stand it anymore.
"...You know..." I carefully started. "...It's kind of hard to eat when there's someone looking at you all the time..." Luno blushed and looked away a little.
"S-Sorry..." I instantly felt bad.
"No... I-I didn't mean it that way!" I laid my paw on his. He looked back and smiled slightly.
"Ok..." I felt my cheeks becoming a little red. What was wrong with me? I turned my head away, afraid he'd see my blush. I tried to look a little through the corners of my eye. Luno looked to a total different direction.

"So, Nema," Summer began as she stood on her tiptoes, trying to reach the tallest of the cupboards in the kitchen in order to put the freshly-washed plates away. She had just finished washing the dishes from her and Nema's lunch. That day, Rand and Leanne had gone off to do their respective thing, and had asked Summer to babysit Nema for them. Of course, Summer agreed without any hesitation. How could she not, Nema was adorable! Ben had gone out on patrol and taken Ukulele Pichu - who gets restless when not taken outside daily - and had agreed to come and check up on them every once and a while. "What do you want to do this afternoon? I heard that a flock of Psyducks came in early this morning at the beach... do you want to go examine them?"
"I wanna talk about boys," Nema said simply, peering up at the Ranger with wide, innocent eyes.
"W-what?" Summer spluttered incredulously, almost dropping the plate that was in her hand. "Nema, you're eleven years old!"
His MistakesShe was so beautiful. Sometimes it was hard for me to believe she was actually mine. Her eyes were such a deep brown, like melted chocolate. Her lips were soft and pouty with the luscious curves. Golden brown hair framed her small heart shaped face. Those were the times I realized how I didn't have her fully, yet.
There was one thing I could never thaw out from the raw cold that had frozen her over.
She'd smile with me, but it never reached her eyes. She'd laugh, but there wasn't lively humor like I used to see before, before we were actually together. She'd hold my hand, but it was always cold, like it had been empty for so long and the blood inside her flesh was freezing over.
Every time I held her, she would shake as if I was going to suddenly strike her. She'd tremble before putting her arms around me and it'd be like another needle stabbing into my heart.
It was those ti

"You should take it easy in battles. It'd even be the best if you wouldn't battle at all... I don't want to take to many risks, since you'll need to use your back a lot in battles..."
"I'm no use at all!" I exclaimed in panic. I could see Josh's shocked expression.
"Of...of course not!" He said. "We need you to help finding your old Trainer and lock him up. You're the only one who knows him..." I felt a whole lump in my throat.
"I'm no use because I can't battle..." I said while I felt tears in the corners of my eyes. "I can't battle at all..it'll hurt my back..." A tear rolled down my cheek.
