OK, so I will leave the poll open for a few more days in case anyone else wants to add their vote but, before I move on to other things, I thought I should congratulate Amanda on what seems like a convincing victory. Well done! My original and best character. She beat off a decent challenge from Penelope (some gentlemen prefer blondes after all) but I do think this result was not a huge surprise.
It's really flattering that so many people have taken Amanda to their hearts in my first year of production.
I think I can promise another year of hopefully great artwork (barring any life-changing circumstances) and I can assure you that Amanda will continue to play a large role:
- We'll be tying up the loose end of her escape from Professor Schnell in a text story written by a big fan. I may add a couple of supporting pictures. It would be a shame not to, I suppose.
- Also, we'll be seeing more of what happened next to Amanda after she was caught snooping around and finally escaped Sir Roger's Mansion. Amanda takes a job in the New York Public Library so that she can investigate the mysterious books locked in the basement. This gets her into all sorts of trouble, that I am just sure you're all going to enjoy.
Thanks for your votes, favourites and most importantly your comments which keep supporting my efforts to bring these girls and their stories to you.
Amanda doesn't go out on the town very often. But tonight she's headed to Sam's Bar, her favourite, for dinner with Rachel. Amanda certainly doesn't want to be outshone by her rival. I think she's rather excited about the whole thing.
Amanda Jones has been rendered using Daz3D studio. This is all my own work.
I will be posting information about Amanda in the journal. Hopefully we will get to see some of her perilous adventures in here soon. For now, my focus has been on creating her look in Daz3D and developing the skills & materials I need to put her many stories into 3D.
A full length shot of our new protagonist, as she sweeps the area looking for Ensign James. The area is eerily quiet and deserted.... a set of plain open rooms with grey walls.
I worked hard on the authenticity of this after watching some TOS episodes this weekend: Lianne's 'tweaked' outfit has a slightly shorter skirt, shorter boots (more calf length than knee length) and slightly more folds in her skirt. It's now pretty much a 100% match to the what you see on the TV... yum.
