News Blog(sorry to those who get this twice)
So, yeah, a little over two years ago a now very good friend of mine introduced me to dA. Since I was a fervent writer I immediately signed up.
Since then, now 2 years later, I've uploaded quite a few pieces. Some have been removed or revised. Yet, I've never been able to get the feedback I wanted, though I signed up for more then enough groups - even some that claimed they were the group that I needed to be with if I wanted lots of views or feedback.
Eventually I started my own group, hoping it would become a place where people would both give and get feedback. I never got that to work either..
Due to this, and real life, I will probably not be on much anymore. I don't see the point anymore in uploading anything, since it doesn't get any views or feedback. Please don't say "but you do it for yourself", because yes, I do it for myself. That's why I am able to make this decision, because don't think this comes lightly or that I make this choice on a w

Do you have anything to tell about yourself to our readers?
I'm always available by , I'm running the groups PoetrynProseWatchers and TheCritiquables, I'm a critic on Every-Photo and I'm head of the critique department in PoeticalCondition. I'm 22 years old, Irish born and mostly Pakistan raised, and I'm on the lookout for critics, good photographers, good writers, and good honest people. Trolls will be forwarded to PuzzledHeartBox.
When did you start writing?
I... (thinks about it) (vibrates seat) (bites lip and looks down) (snaps fingers) first time was 13 years of age. I wrote my first formal poem when I was 16, but at 13 I wrote... I guess it was a story based off Arthurian lore with an original character introduced. I never got to completing the story because I simpl

2013 - a retrospect2013 has been an eventful year for me. I wanted to do a whole, complete annual analysis of my 2013 session on dA, but fuck it, why not just make a special mention of everyone who's been an important part of my experience.2013 - a retrospect1 year ago in Personal More Like This
The first thing which I'll honestly admit that has changed, is my growing poetry. I'll be frank with everyone who's new towards who I am: I started with prose (as all or most of you anyway), but of all the prose I have written:
this was my best work. Bar none. I rarely go back and read my own works, I admit that... but sometime back in December, I decided on re-reading this particular prose. I admit, I'm impressed - I was shivering, somewhat depressed, and the ending was honestly least expected. But all in all, a good prose. I'm not saying this to toot my own horn, I'm saying this because of the praise people poured on this piece. Frankly, that changed my opinion about it.
However, my 2013 has been a poetry year for me. A big poetry year. The

it is so true I swear.
To those who've been passing by my profile, you might've noticed a custom box with all my favourites in it. Well, its for good reason:
I've been meaning to clean up my favourites and put them in collections, just to sort them out. So far, with luck, I've been managing to do so and my effort's paid off... but having said that, I've revisited my roots and found myself going through all those old works which helped me understand... why I joined dA in the first place... Call for Collaborative Poets! In May of this year, I put together a giant collaboration with 18 poets to write a poem showing support for hopeburnsblue. The poem showed her the community was behind and with her no matter what, and the poem itself turned out to be a huge success due to how it was written, edited, and put together by each individual, which involved a great deal of trust from all involved. Not everything went off without a hitch, and a lot of improvising happened, but it all came together.Call for Collaborative Poets!4 months ago in Deviant Events More Like This
I've been wanting to do another collaborative effort since, but as an organizer, compiler, editor, writer and some kind of leader of the original collaborative poem, it took a lot out of me to complete the first effort. So I've been waiting, I've been plotting and I've thought things over twice.

The Beach, The Waves, The Trees
That could mean anything, it doesn't have to be a theme, so get creative and try to stand out. It can be a sunny day at the beach, or have people playing volleyball at the beach. Or maybe even your favourite palm tree. The art piece you do doesn't have to have all 3, but if you want it to, go ahead, just make sure to include at least one of them. Extra points if it's original and creative.
The art piece you submit can be drawn for the competition, or a previous artwork in your gallery.
It'll be judged by zepIyn, wdnest and Madmazda and you'll receive a feature in the Winner's journal.
