It was still a heavenly sight, even now.
Keys were pressed at lightning speed across Magical Melody's piano, assembling a collection of tones with a pronounced classical air. In time, Binary Match recognized it as as a casual rendition of Parasprite Waltz.
Melody hadn't noticed Binary looking through her window yet, and so continued to play. It was like before they'd met, with one clear difference--instead of wrinkled frustration, Melody's face now displayed a peaceful smile.
Only when the song was finished did Binary knock on the front door. Almost immediately she heard the light scrape of a piano stool and the equally light tapping of hooves--galloping hooves, since when did Melody have that much energy?--approaching the door, which opened in mere seconds.
And, then, there was Melody, in front of her, staring at her--and still wearing that smile.
Binary waved. "Hi there."
Melody's smile grew even bigger. "Hi, Binary! Come on in."

What was I thinking?
A star-adorned tiara plopped onto Twilight Sparkle's bed.
It all looked to so good in my head! The actual outfit even looked good! At least to me... but I'm no designer, am I?
Two oversized, star-plastered sets of earrings and bows followed.
And the whole time, I pushed her to make it. Constantly correcting her over the most minor of details, forcing her to abandon her design sensibilities, and being ungrateful about a dress that she had offered to make me for free!
That dress, cluttered with animal and constellation designs, joined her jewelry on the bed with a soft ploomf. Twilight looked at the ensemble, only now finally able to see it for the trainwreck it was.
Whew. Back to some semblance of sanity. But the damage is already done. It's my fault. I asked for this, and I got exactly what I wanted... at the expense of a good friend's image. Maybe even her career. I'm the absolute worst.
She walked out of her bedroom and d

First, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to study abroad. My friends and I are enjoying ourselves and learning many new things here at New Rodes High School. However, we do miss Applejack. If you happen to be in Ponyville, would you say hello from all of us? I have had Spike send her a few letters, but she doesn't have the magic necessary to send back any responses. We would love to hear from her.
I apologize for monopolizing your time with such a selfish concern. Allow me to return to my report on the Magic of Friendship. Interestingly enough, the atmosphere here in the City of Starlight seems to have affected our inner Elements of Harmony. We are now able to transform into our Elemental forms at will, all of us, and I can sense a brimming spiritual energy unlike anything we've ever used or seen before. I will keep you posted with any further updates.

Rain hit the roof of the cloud home, making small thuds as two pegasi laid side by side in a warm bed. Fluttershy had come over to her dear friend, Rainbow Dash's home to spend the night. She never liked being home alone while there was a storm, so she would escape to her filly-hood friends and spend the night and also some quality time between just the two of them.
Fluttershy watched her friend sleeping beside her, wishing she could experience the same but, no matter how hard she tried; sleep would continue to deprive from her. Fluttershy turned over to face the window and watched the rain pour down the panels.
The rain reminded her of her first day of flight camp. Also when she first met Rainbow, and the first storm they experienced together

"You see, it all comes down to reliability."
"Reliability." A chipper, analytical voice was just audible over the singing of birds, the wind whistling through grass and trees, and the playing of several small ponies. While those ponies enjoyed the spring day, however, a white unicorn filly was deep in thought--and thus, in her element.
"The best part about numbers is that once you put them together and perform the necessary operations, you never have to wonder about whether the answer you get is wrong now, or will be wrong in the future." The lecturing filly scribbled numbers and symbols in a notebook as she spoke, then laid the book out on a wooden yard table for three of her other classmates to see. "Unless, you know, you screwed up the operations to begin with. So, uh, let's not do that."
She chuckled. Nopony else did. It was all right. They were busy deciphering her notes, after all. Once she saw them nod their heads, she asked, "Things make more se

Applejack was just about at her wit's end. She and her six best friends had been running around like mad ponies for the past two weeks putting the finishing touches on the wedding between Fluttershy and Big Macintosh, and while Applejack couldn't have been happier for the two, she had had more than enough of wedding preparations to last her a lifetime. From tying little bows on the wedding favors to seating charts to flower arrangements, she was about ready to call it quits and suggest the couple elope. No, it's fine, she told herself, it'll all be over in a few hours, and Big Mac and Fluttershy deserve such a nice weddin'. The orange earth pony let out a calming breath as she helped Pinkie arrange hors d'oervres on golden platters. Just as long as nopony shrieks again

Since the Days When I Was Small
It was all so exciting
First time on the surface
With my mother, elder queen
We hunted the emotional souls
First taste of emotions
I swallowed the sugary love
First feast on emotions
I drank all of the sorrow's salt
We roamed the overworld plains
While relishing treats, the earthling souls' ether
I dreamed of the future ahead me
On the warmth of mother's lap
First feast on emotions
The taste of milt stayed on my tongue
First taste of addiction
Sugar of love and sorrow's salt
We watched the sundown
Since those days when I was small
We saw the fortress
I yearned to taste that joy once again
The euphoria in my mouth
Filling me with hopes and dreams
Raw force within the heartfelt
Passion of the young embrace

When the Autumn Leaves
The wind brings signs of colder mornings,
Prolonging dusk surpasses the light,
Gone are those days:
Summertime of warmth and laughing,
Summer's time to slumber now
(For) some time
Reaped the harvest, filled the stocks,
Found the scarves and boots from loft,
Gathered firewood to keep our hearths lit and lively.
You can see how the time of green is gone:
Its course is old and fading, losing its vividness.
Months of winter holding near,
We are watching the autumn leaves
Glowing bright in their gilded colors.
Season of work after the summer growth:
Memories of the vivid days still in mind.
Season of change before the winter rest:
Painted world before the snow-white veil.

Warning: Always drink in moderation, unless you too want to turn into a middle-aged writer of MLP fanfiction! I suggest medium strength beer for the rules as they stand, although hardcore drinkers may opt for shots.
Drink = a sip, while Finish your drink means what it says!
Take a drink whenever:
- the opening or closing sequence plays
If you choose to skip either, you must finish your drink. Shame on you!
- somepony refers to 'friendship'
Additionally, you must say "Friendship is Magic!" or finish your drink
- anypony drinks something, even if it's just hotsauce
Additionally, you must say "Confound these ponies! They drive me to drink" or finish your drink
- anypony refers to Princess Celestia
Additionally, you must say "Another thousand years!" or finish your drink
Supporters of the New Lunar Republic may choose to say "Down with the Tyrant!" instead

It wasn't close enough to lunchtime yet and she didn't quite feel like going into town. Dear Princess Celestia,
I don't suppose I'll be writing you any more letters after this. Over the years I've said all there is to say about anything worth saying, and saying it again would be useless. Has it really been fifty years since you sent me to Ponyville? It seems like just yesterday I was meeting my friends for the first time, and we were battling with the Elements of Harmony to stop Nightmare Moon. Ah, those were the days. It's been years now since I've had the strength to go on those kinds of adventures. These days I need Spike to help me get up and down the stairs. I'm not as young as I once was.
I'm really writing this to make sure I haven't forgotten to say anything to you in my past letters. I'm very sorry I haven't been sending them as frequently, but I feel like I've already done all there is to do. I know there's always more to learn, but I can't always get out there and learn it. Most of the things I learn now come from books alone. Of course I still see my friend

Oh, my amaranth,
My undying flower.
Such beauty eternal.
I have watched you from afar
And your beauty shines like the morning star.
How I wish I could shower you with my love.
Must you be so cold...?
For all I want is you to hold.
And heart torn.
Is it this face?...my disgrace.
If in me a monster you see--
Oh yes--a monster I can be.
Drink deep from the chalice of hate.
Open wide, Damnation's gate:
Embrace the evils that dwell within--
Let the chaos begin.
Strife, my art:
The will of a longing heart.
Try to fill the emptiness.
Strike down upon my love denied;
In its stead Chaos shall rise,
For with madness have I allied.
Hah! An empire built on hate,
This world that I create,
So terrible to behold.
My soul has been sold.
Heart torn asunder,
As I stare in wonder:
Her gaze, so filled with hate.
Oh yes, I do deserve this fate.
Elements cut me to the bone,
Flesh turned to solid stone.
Over my broken body, Harmony: restored.

You're lying on your bed, feeling aroused by the mare sitting next to you. Your boxers, made of silk cotton continuously rub against the very noticeable lump between your legs. Every time you try hard to adjust and hide it, your growth becomes that much more visible to your visitor. She smiles with lust in her eyes, and says, "Oh, it seems somebody likes what they see."
The only light in the room are candles hanging securely around the walls that create a luminous dance of shimmering fires upon their holders. They're bright enough so that you can easily see her, but not so bright as to ruin the romance of the moment. You can also detect the perfect amount of their vanilla scent wafting from the wax, which makes you sigh with alleviation.

The delicious aroma of a pot of fresh soup floated through the quaint Ponyville home, a grey pegasus stirring it as it sat upon the stove. Her wings occasionally flapped, sending the warmth and smell through the area to the point where she was positive that her neighbors were going to beg for some at any moment.
A smile spread across her face as she heard the click of her front door and the sigh of her young filly.
"Hello, muffin," she happily chirped, hearing Dinky's saddlebags hit the floor. "How was your day at school?"
Waiting for her response, Derpy listened as her daughter's hooves clinked across the kitchen floor, making their way to the living room, which was soon followed by the sound of the young pony plopping herself down on the couch.
Sensing the distress in her daughter's actions, she abandoned her stirring and trotted into the living room, looking at her grey filly with concern. She watched as the pony intentionally avoided her gaze.

Just like that, they were no longer friends, or even acquaintances anymore. It was incredibly difficult for Gilda to wrap her mind around it; it just seemed unbelievable that their relationship had fallen out in such a way.

Chapter II: "The Welcome Wagon Comes to Town"
Written by Diane N. Tran
For the first time in her mail-mare career, the pegasus named Derpy Hooves was late in a delivery. That delivery consisted of one single, solitary letter to be dropped off at the very last residence of her rounds, Ponyville's Old Clock Tower. When she arrived at the building, she was, of course, as punctual as ever, but the mail-box was still missing from the lawn and she didn't have the courage to knock on the door again.
Dressed in her saddlebags, pacing back and forth, she was at a loss of what to do at the moment, so she paced some more. If she left it on the doorstep, the wind could blow it away. If she slipped it underneath the doormat, it might not be seen. Then a thought came to her, perhaps she could squeeze the letter between the cracks of the door.
Placing the letter between he

And after a bit I'll start hearing her scurrying around upstairs, the soft dabbling of delicate hooffalls in the rooms above. Then, after some delay, here she'll come downstairs, stepping heavily with purpose, her mane in a tangled mess and her wings imperfectly symmetrical, where she will stop, raise her hoof in a salute, and absurdly bark:

Five more minutes until Orion's birthday party. Under normal circumstances, ponies would be expecting their guests to be fashionably late, but those ponies obviously never met the Pie family. Looking at the clock, Andromeda knew that the moment the large hand hit the "12," Berry and Cherry would be at the door.
They couldn't help themselves. Partying was in their blood as well as their upbringing. Andromeda figured any filly raised by Pinkie Pie would be that way. Waiting at the door, Orion and Andromeda smiled and readied to scare their friends in an unexpected welcoming. The twins were renowned for their sneakiness and pranks, so it was time they pulled one on them. Time slowed down as the final seconds inched their way up the clock's face. When the last second hit, the two unicorns threw open the door.
"Gotcha!" they yelled in unison before settling down at the empty sight in front of them.
