Drowned with the Atlantis(Even Cupid cries)Your skin on mine
Hold me like the mortals do
Sing me a lullaby
Darling,all I have is you.
Your hand in my hair
Your lips upon mine,
Even gods have a soul,
And I'm just one of them nine.
I'll dance my prayer,love.
Go forward and never turn
All this time,I thought,
This city will burn.
Who knew his arrow would break?
No one asked can gods cry.
His tears will drown us,
Give me your love, teach me to fly.
Cupid's tears touched my skin.
It made a red scar.
His wings are almost gone.
Did he,too, lose the one he loved?
I wanted to help
But you held me there
Don't become a mortal,
It's too great a burden to bear.
The waves came,
And you kissed me,Atlantis drowned.
You had your arms around me,pulling me close.
And we watch it disappear,up,from that cloud.

the curdled air upon our skin;
black birds were carried on a breeze
exempt from Autumn's sullen temper.
I sought beneath great folds of flesh
colored by the sunrise and bedsores,
arousing the vessel unbefitting
for the natural beauty of your charm.
Though unsatisfied, I yielded,
eyes closed to your piggish flush,
the sopping paste of your thighs,
those tiny irises dull as paint chips.
You admired me but soon discovered
I cringed beneath your every breath,
weak in the heat of an Indian Summer,
clutched by wet effeminate hands.
You have been alone since then,
pining for the yellow flowers of June
with too much sadness to resent me,
even when the winter fell at once.
I still revere the sculpt of your mind:
if you call, I will listen raptly
with a pierced yet unprejudiced ear;
if you die, I will write the eulogy
in the voice of a bereaved mourner;
if you wait, I may return to you
like a butterfly nostalgic for milkweed,
but today, I am vain.

who wreak havoc on my bones-
impaling these masochistic butterfly wings
on railroad spikes
between heartbeats and bedsheets,
I got a heart in New Orleans,
palms engraving names like
Juliet, Alexandria, & Christine
on the seats of greyhound buses.
& I'm offering up 102 degrees of skin to a godless moon
as I breathe in her night scent.
Betrayed.I used to feel you,Betrayed.4 years ago in Haiku & Eastern More Like This
You were close to me my love,
But not anymore.
For you see my dear,
You betrayed my heart and soul,
Now shattered in shards.
You've made me fragile,
You've taken away my strength,
Now I've lost myself.
And you are not here,
Leaving me for another,
What did I do wrong?
I miss and hate you,
You've hurt me but my love's strong,
You torture me still.
My love is fading,
No more than a memory,
I am now healing.
I've found someone new,
Someone that's sound and loyal,
Your opposite, 'love'.

But no one walked in.
I laughed but no one laughed with me.
All that's left is a symphony.
It's coming from the back of my heart.
I'm waiting for someone to hear it.
Will you listen?

followed by darkless faith,
absorb the light of the silver moon,
to light the cockels of your soul,
let your eyes become a beacon,
to show the world your glittering aura,
and prove to all,
that dark wings can conceal
even the most admirable being.
Black bird of grace,
you've shown them all,
you brim with loyalty, love and life,
you have succeeded in what they cannot,
now you can continue to let your heart fly,
protected in your canopy of lightless wings,
but continue to shine through those bright eyes.
Black bird of grace,
I plea to you,
help my sparrow to hide in night,
help him to escape this earth bound nightmare,
whilst restoring his own shattered spirit,
for you are the best in him.
Show him how to fly above those confined by trees,
and how to escape his unfathomable memories,
so help this sparrow,
to stretch out his broken wings,
and learn once more to fly.

that the children of forgotten bogs may simmer beneath your skin
that the splendor may burn thorough your marrow.
brush the brooks aside with urgent palm;
perhaps the sky might rain upon your blisters.
i think your smile is scared like there are wolves beneath your stairs and
your eyes search me out,
restless lanterns in the night that will not darken
they do not close.
you are a pumpkin carved in the shape of a boy
and no one dare set a candle inside you.
The Author and Alice.I swear that I try though even my best work is insufficient. No matter how bright and magical those thoughts are that dance around my brain, I am never fully capable to portray them to you. Not faithfully anyhow. I solely wish that I could, for these ideas of mine are so precious that they fill me with a pure sensation of happiness and glee. They dance around my mind with all their might. But for now, knowing that you love and appreciate the poor relocation of these living dreams is enough. I thank and love you for it, despite my incompetence and inability to fully comprehend what you find so great about whatever it is that I produce but just for you I enclose this:The Author and Alice.4 years ago in Haiku & Eastern More Like This
Falling through the hole,
A sweet little girl is lost,
Gone to Wonderland.
Looking for freedom,
She is searching for herself,
With unlikely friends.
Questions are sparked,
Wondering through Wonderland,
Who's this little girl?
She's finding herself,
In the most unlikely place,
She has freed herself.
It's time to leave now,

To fetch the neighbor's daughter.
The bitch they bound without a sound,
Besides Jill's cackling laughter.
Up Jack got and home did trot,
as fast as he could drag her;
Took her to bed, bashed in her head
now nothing left to save her.
When Jill came in how she did grin
Proceeding to join the slaughter;
Hand up her dress, knife to the neck
Oh, what a beautiful disaster.
the clockwork liari. we dusted dreams off people like the first snowflakes of the season. you'd take one and rest it on the center of your tongue because you hated the taste of ice cream and wanted to reset what cold tasted like to you.the clockwork liar3 years ago in Stories & Vignettes More Like This
you taught me that the cold could be bitter, and so could people's dreams.
you drank out of out-of-order wells because you believed they still worked and that the government was keeping it all to itself.
i never realized how insane you made me before i wrote this all down.
ii. i wished on the sun because i ran out of shooting stars.
and just to spite me, you began wishing on raindrops because you believed that they were so many, one of them was bound to remember you.
but we both ended up laughing hysterically with protruding knives on a bloodstained floor, didn't we?
iii. i talked to clockwork towers and told them to lie because if they stopped for just a while, all the time in the world would seize.

I opened this box
I know he told me not to
I just couldn't resist
That was my forbidden fruit.
It was the only wrong I did,
My one mistake,
But I am allowed to have sins
I am just a woman made of clay.
I watched the darkness Embrace the Earth
Earth,that you,Mother Gaia,left us.
I watched the colors turn to grey.
Hate. Sickness. Envy. Lust.
Yes,I removed the lid
It wasn't even heavy
I guess I saved him somehow.
That trap wasn't even made for me.
But you know,
Zeus loves his sons.
He put a remedy at the bottom-
Hope-when you think all is done.
And I watched the centuries pass
Suffocating,drowning in my own "whys"
I could have saved these innocent souls
Now,the world echoes with my cry.
I don't have any words to say,
My lips make sinful sounds
I would rewind the time if I could,
But the world keeps spinning around.
