"Oh my word... is that a--?"
I stared in awe at my screen, seeing that beautiful shiny wurmple. I was on route 3 when I found him, having already been through the first five gyms in my Ruby cartriage and wanting to train my low level pokemon with easy zigzagoon and wurmple, occasionally fishing up a magikarp or corphish, when I happened upon him.
Level 3, male, and look at me, a team full of level 30's and a few level 10's and a good ammount of pokeballs, great balls and ultra balls. I wasted no time at all, my level 13 female ralts, Nausicaae, quickly going out to the battle field. I wasted no attacks, just quickly threw my great ball, watching as the animation went by.
one... so far so good...
two... my heart's starting to race...
three... did I just..?!
The triumphant music of a successful catch soon rang through my Gameboy Advance SP speakers, my heart soaring and myself cheering. I couldn't believe it! My very first random encounter shiny! Not like the Shiny Gyarados in Silv
Liebesleid Chapter 8 (Ib fanfiction)After picking up the water-stained pages of the last sonata outside of the mirrored room, Ib closed her eyes and leaned against a wall. She knew she didn't have much time left, but she was so tired and cold...her rose was still in her pocket. She hadn't looked at it ever since leaping out of Ivonne's painting, and she could tell that it was missing at least two petals. With a sigh, she rose, eyes shut, and took a deep breath as she faced the direction Ivonne's room was in, her fists clenched. Raising her head, Ib felt her determination and energy rushing back.Liebesleid Chapter 8 (Ib fanfiction)3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Hold on, Ivonne, Guertena...Garry...I'll be there soon.
"...Guertena? Guertena, are you alright?!" Worriedly, Garry knelt down next to the slumped artist, shaking his shoulder. "Come on! Wake up!"
"Ugh..." Guertena coughed and curled up. "I-Ivonne..."
"What's wrong?! Talk to me!"
"She..she's going to come back...that other side of me came back, that bad side...I'm...almost complete again...God, it hurts..."

"Garry..." I knelt down to his face, holding it in my hands. He was cold already.
Mary... You were the exact kind of person I wanted to have as a little sister but... You killed the thing that was most important to me.
"You promised we would get macaroons after this..." I reminded nothing. I started crying, resting my forehead on Garry's.
I thought for a moment. Garry died because his rose was destroyed, but really, because of me. I didn't want to go home now that Garry was gone. I would still feel this way if it wasn't my fault.
"Its decided then." I said to myself, leaving Garry to go back into the room with Mary's burnt picture.
The ashes were still on the ground. There was paper and crayons left from Mary... So I started to draw.
The picture started out just being two roses, a blue and red one. Then it grew to be those roses and Garry. Then, I added myself there. I didn't add anything else. Not the paintings, not the monsters, not Mary.
One more step to do. I walked back down the s

I felt a sharp pain in my sides. My head was spinning and I felt as if I had been sleeping for years.
My eyes twitched open to reveal a dark hallway.
Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore.
I felt around me to look for my lighter. It would light the hall, even if just a little.
It wasn't in my pocket, so it probably fell out. Beside me, a couple steps away, was the lighter on... A piece of cloth?
I lit the fire device to look. There were small letters made out of crayon. "I'm sorry." was all it said. It was barely there, seeing as it was written on a silk handkerchief, but it was there.
It didn't completely strike me until I waved the lighter around. Farther down the hall, I spotted a yellow object. It was near a flight of stairs, leading upwards. I crawled towards it, still feeling too weak to stand.
It was a small, yellow, circular candy. I read the label. It was lemon flavoured. Something about it just made me wonder. I remembered it. The memory was foggy, but it was at the top of my mi
