There's been some debate about the ah... mental age? Of the characters. Like their maturity, the age they'd be if they were human beings. So... Atli (the cub) would be about 9-10. A very well-spoken child, intelligent, but a child nonetheless. Jin (the bird) actually is a lot younger than some of you seem to think, about 18-19. Kandé (the jackal) would be in like late twenties to early thirties.
