I really wish that I'd taken the time to braid my hair instead of using my Leia braid. I was just so exhausted from staying up all night, trooping earlier that morning, and then being in a 90 degree attic for the shoot.

"...a burning brand to your enemies, a brilliant fire to your friends."
A professional photographer approached my Rebel Legion Base looking for anyone willing to pose for pictures to add to his portfolio, so of course I volunteered.
I spent 6 hours in the attic of an old rundown closed night club in New Bedford dressed as a Jedi and then a Pirate for photos. Despite the 90 degree heat it was a lot of fun and some pretty cool photos were taken. This being one of them. ^_^

Myself as Satele Shan from Star Wars: The Old Republic. As every year, I made a Star Wars costume!!! Yay!!. I really like the Star Wars TOR trailers and I'm looking forward to playing this game. I think Satele's got a wonderful design and I've been lucky to find a fabric that looks pretty similar to the original one. The day I found it, the day I began sewing. I must say I made this costume on july, but, due to another proyects, I finished making the accesories weeks ago. I HOPE you like it! ^^ Thanks to our friend Obi for lending us his almost broken double blue lightsaber. And thanks to Erikku-kun for fixing it!!!
Photo: Jesús Clares facebook.com/jesusclares I cannot describe with words what I feel about this shot. So I'll only say *___*
I haven't uploaded any of this set here, until now! I need to balance out the cutesy of Sailor Mercury with more of my villains.
I had a chance to work with Ken Pearson. Phenomenal photographer. His art really gave an edge to my costume that I needed. This is my last photo shoot with Darth Simi. The cap was starting to tear (though I was able to patch it up before the shoot), so she has been retired. My new costume (still in the works) will take over for her soon.
And yes...I FINALLY have my super cool lightsabers done. It took a while, but success!
