Star Wars - The Weak Will Perish
The tremor that passed through Darth Sear's vessel told him that he had landed on the planets surface. He was excited. Despite the fierce battle being fought over head, he had felt the Jedi break off from the republic fleet and make his way down here. What was so important, that the republic would allow such a powerful asset to abandon them mid battle? The Sith lord wanted to find out. Mostly, he wanted to test himself against the so called might of the Jedi. He had only ever encountered the Jedi once before. A Padawan. His master had slain him with ease. Now it would be his turn. The exit ramp slowly began its descent, revealing the grey sandy surface of the planet. Darth Sear walked out into a sand storm. This was of little consequence to the Sith, considering his cybernetic eyes. He scanned his surroundings, the darkening sky lit up with the fire of battle, his dark robes violently fluttering in the wind. He f

Born A Traitor
From birth he has been a traitor, having betrayed nature itself, and now he was about to betray the only family he had left. After this he would have no one. His only allies would be the dark shadow he called a Master and the dark side itself.
The engines of his gunship were humming peacefully. The calm before the storm, as it was called. There were at least twenty Clone Troopers in the ship with him. They were relatively quiet, checking their gear and rechecking it. Or were they? They could be conspiring against him at this very moment, plotting to kill him the moment he turned his back on them.
All beings were capable of betrayal in his dark eyes.
"Commander?" He called silently. "A word with you, if you please."
The blue-armored clone made his way through the crowd of soldiers and crouched in front of his superior, who had sat down in a corner, pitch-black robe covering him almost entirely. The Commander seemed alert, left hand on his holstere

Hawke took a seat next to Fenris at her desk in the library. He had chosen a book about lyrium of all things. Such dry reading.
"Why lyrium Fenris? I thought you wouldn't want a book discussing something so... close to home," Hawke said gently as she flitted her eyes to Fenris' markings. He must have caught her glance.
"And why not Hawke, I shouldn't care to know more about what was carved into me?" He retorted. Hawke recoiled a bit from his gaze. He must have caught that, too.

I had never been much for all the mushy love stuff. I never thought that I ever would, but a lot has changed. I guess I've been through a lot of things that I never prepared myself for. Some were more unexpected than others.
It had been a normal day for everyone else. The others had all been able to make it to Pinkies' party that night and everyone was having a good time. Except me. Around a month before, Pinkie came up to me all; "Rainbow. Huge news!"
Well it was more of a “Rainbow, I have the most wonderfully amazingly wonderful splendiferous news!" She was never one to understate things at least.
I rolled my eyes at the time. For her big news could have meant "I made another batch of cupcakes!" but went along with it 'cos if anything she's always a laugh. She dragged me back to Sugar Cube Corner and when we got in she went round slamming all the windows a doors shut. Again, I just thought she was being, we

How A Christian Feels About HomosexualsThere is a very big assumption that has been going around for the past few years, and that is, "If you don't support gay/lesbian couples, you are backwards-thinking, unreasonable and cruel." Hey, my name is Rainbow Dash. The most awesome, most radical, most amazing, most spectacular, pony in all of Equestria. Most ponies call me the fastest flier too. Heck, I've even got a cool crown thingy to prove it!
Anyway. I thought I'd share a story, a story that will blow. Your. Mind. A story about how I met the most awesome mare ever, the mare of my dreams. A story about how I met, and ended up being with Twilight Sparkle.
Okay, so one day I was just doing my usual activity, which is flying. Duh. And I was just soaring over Ponyville when I saw this crazy beautiful mare with a little purple dragon trotting around. I don't know why I felt this way and I definitely, didn't know how to explain how I felt I just all of a sudden felt like my mind was going to explode of too much awesomeness!

"Hey, barkeep!" a scratchy, tired voice called out lamely. A brown stallion glanced up at its owner, his hoof still making small motions on the mug he was drying off. "Another one!" The barkeep nodded politely and obliged her, placing a fresh mug of golden-brown liquid before his customer, who grunted her thanks and brought it to her lips.
Bitterness: as far as taste goes, she had always enjoyed it. Cider was her favorite drink- alcoholic or non- because she enjoyed its bitterness. The strong, pungent flavor was reminiscent of power, of strength. A flavor that could make her feel its taste, and cause a reaction like a cringe or a shiver; the last stand of a food that fought back. As a feeling though,

Rainbow Dash slowly made her way amongst rows of dark tents in the Equestrian encampment. The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky a shade of dark crimson and covering the empty alley in sharp shadows. The only sounds reaching her ears were the crackling of campfires hidden from her view by the tents, no doubt surrounded by silent soldiers who had nothing more to converse about, and the clattering of the armor on her chest meeting her shoulder guards with every step forward. She had been invited by the Princess to attend a meeting of the commanding officers of the four armies in the joined camp. They were to discuss the plans for the coming weeks of the march southwards across the continent.
Dash was alone with her thoughts on her way to the hill in the center of the camp. How had it come to this? Each link in the chain of events leading up to this moment had made sense in its own right, and yet the chain as a whole surpassed her. They were joining other cou
