A couple of simple head-swap style figures. Mara Jade's head is actually from a GI JOE figure.

I have since sold the Mara Jade custom - you can view another picture of her in my "Sold" gallery folder.

This is a complete repaint of the 2007 Revenge of the Sith Galactic Marine. I did this before Hasbro released their repaint of the figure that looks very similar to this one. This figure received a complete repaint in shades of white and black with a nice dirty wash to bring out the details and add realism. All was done with Vallejo Artist Acrylics and Varnishes.

Lucasarts classic 1994 TIE Fighter game featured cut scenes and missions making reference to Vice Admiral Thrawn commanding a fleet of the Imperial Navy in an attack on a Rebel outpost in the days before his elevation to the rank of Grand Admiral. Given the game's setting just after the events in A New Hope, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that the Vice Admiral may make an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels series in an animated form with this lower rank, once again trying to quell any dissent against the Emperor's rule in the Outer Rim.

This 3.75" figure utilises
my own cast of Mattel Justice League Unlimited Captain Atom's head (with a significant shortening of the jaw), GI Joe 25th Anniversary Destro (for the entire body sans head and hands), Power Team Elite figure (for the hands) and some modelling clay.

First time repainting an action figure, didn't realise how difficult it was.

Shambling down the dimly lit corridors of an Imperial space station comes the frightening Death Troopers, undead Stormtroopers that seek the feed on the living! This custom Star War Black series 6" Death Trooper was made from a Sand Trooper with a hollowed out helmet, scarred armor, and Black Lantern Abin-Sur head. A lot of paint effects were used to simulate the art of fungus covered, dirty, stained trooper armor with actual cracks and chunks taken out of it along with dirty bandages. Watch out, the Death Troopers are on the move...
