APOLOGY: For all that haven't read the book yet, I sincerely apologize for the spoiler here--and hope that it doesn't detract too much from your future reading experience...

This image was one of those that wouldn't get out of my head until I drew it. It's not a very clean drawing, and was done pretty quickly, so isn't as crisp or detailed as my usual work, and there are plenty of problems with the figures (sigh)--but the muse has quieted since I got it done, so I decided to go ahead and post it...

This is a scene that anyone who's read the novel will recognize--I won't post the narrative, as I can't black it out--but it's Ben...with his mom...

**lip quivers again**

ZAP!! That's all I'm say'n.

O.k. well, not quite. This is another character that was new to me. Here we have the powerful Sith lord oozing with force lightening. Don't stand too close.

You'll see this illustration on the "Jedi Academy" package for the Star Wars Miniatures line.

Mixed media: acrylic, oil colored pencil and wee bits of airbrush

I wasn't familiar with Mr. Mandalore until asked to paint another illustration for the Star Wars minis packages.

Here's a little bit about what his life is about. "Madalore the Ultimate established his reputation as a brazen strategist who was capable of immense destruction. He led a merciless campaign in the Outer Rim Territories, authorizing the devastation of such planets as Cathar, and allowing his armies to sack the world of Althir. Even as the Republic began to respond to his aggressions, he continued to lead his Mandalorians with brutal efficiency. As the war escalated, Mandalore proved that he was willing to do anything to win his cause, even to the point of using nuclear devices to destroy entire cities."

I'm not sure if he uses "nuke-u-lar" devices or "nuclear" weapons... but either way he's a bad mo fo. : P

As for what mediums I used, I just stuck with acrylic and colored pencil on this one... I left the oil tucked away under my acrylic palette. Most likely it was dried out, and I was too lazy to squeeze out a new palette full.

Darth Revan vs Darth Nihilus-Colored version.

Pencils: Edgar E Pena
Colors and BG: Largo Intergala

Heres the b&w version: clarkspark.deviantart.com/art/…

EDIT: I tweaked the exposure a bit to allow the colors of the clothes really stand out. I really like the way this one turned out. On a side note my next one might be Darth Malak vs Darth Sion? We shall see.

Characters are copyrighted LucasArts.

EDIT: Had to add watermark, too many thieves. :/

This image was commissioned for the Star Wars Miniatures: Imperial Entanglements set. The visual requirements for this illustration were not much more than show Leia in the Boushh disguise, with the headgear off.

The mediums are acrylic, colored pencil and oil. The size is about 16x10".

Armed with 2 small triple barrel ion cannons, 2 medium single ion cannon and 8 dual barrel turbolasers the Dagger class corvette sole purpose is to hunt and destroy fast ships like the blockade runner. Fast and agile it sees action against both pirates, smugglers and rebels alike.

Final version :) I hope everyone likes how it turned out. It is the best Star Wars design I made thusfar in my opinion.

The WIPīs are over now! Finally! This is the final drawing of my Imperial Star Destroyer (Allegiance class) :D. This drawing took me almost 2 months of hard work. I donīt know how long in hours, sorry. I used several references to make this drawing come alive. As first the amazing Star Destroyer [link] originally created by Ansel Hsiao (Fractialsponge). I used also a reference of him for the Imperial shuttle [link]

As first I started with the Destroyer and I thought I would get nuts drawing this beast. But later I decided that the Destroyer itself would look boring and so I added some planets and a Nebula. My last add was the huge planet in front (Wayland). I got the idea to all this as I remembered one of my favorite novels from Star Wars EU. The Thrawn trilogy ;). Who knows the novels and - or the comics will know what Iīve drawn here ;).

The drawing itself is 1/3 larger than A2 (my biggest since over 3 years) and all is done entirely in graphite. The starfield was created with some kind of white gel pen.

I hope you like how this one turned out. I really like it thatīs for sure.
So last but not least watch it in fullview and become nuts :evillaugh: :).

WIPīs can be found all in my scrapfolder and you can also watch a short video on Youtube [link]

Thatīs all. Thanks for looking and everything. Allan

PS: The planet is slightly inspired by the Mars.

Wow it got a Daily Deviation :wow::faint:. Thank you very much ~Stevebot-7 and *bloknayrb for suggesting it :). And many thanks to^Voyager212 for featuring it.
