ENG I did a lesson on the theme "Creating Stars sky - Adobe Photoshop". In the process I got a good enough picture. Who wants to learn how to do the same, can download the lesson. He is here in the archive. In addition to the text in the archive have the materials to create this image and the original PSD file. Warning - A Lesson in Russian!
DESCRIPTION This first brush set is comprised of symbols from the refitted NCC-1701 USS Enterprise; Kirk's Enterprise from the movies. It includes the seal of the United Federation of Planets; two door insignia: Executive Science Officer and Chief Engineer; and 9 departmental logos: Command, Science, Medical, Communications, Engineering, Weapons and Defense, Transporter Systems, Shipboard Systems, and Environmental Engineering. The actual brushes are black and transparent-no gray background, and there is also no text. Also, the previews shown are at 0.5 scale.
INSTRUCTIONS To use these brushes unzip the directory to a folder where you can find them easily. Then find your GIMP folder and the brushes folder inside it. Simply drag & drop the .gbr files into the brushes directory, and then tell GIMP to reload the brushes if it's already open.
WELL. I bet nobody has any interest in this, but I thought I'd upload it anyway!1
I've been wanting to make something like this for ages, because I find this system so fascinating and useful, but a lot of people don't seem to understand it beyond doing a quick online test and getting a four-letter code to apply to themselves. I'm not fond of those tests; while they can give you a vague idea of your type, the only way to really know it for sure is to understand what the system actually *means*. And I think you can learn about yourself, others, and how to make other people happy by realising how these functions work!
So I spent a while making this... and while I hope that at least one person will get something out of it, even if nobody does, I suppose I got some personal satisfaction from doing it, or something.
I've only known about the system for a few months, and I wrote all this off the top of my head based on my understanding of it, so if you know about Myers-Briggs and see anything wrong here, I'll be happy to change it! If there's anything that's unclear or which makes no sense, I'd love to hear about that, too, so then I can edit this to be more informative.
I know that many people have no interest in - or actively dislike - personality type model things, but I really do think that the world would be a better place if people at least *understood* them, so then they had a better idea of how to treat others... I wish I'd known about this a few years ago, because it would have cleared up a lot of insecurities and concerns that I had! The incredible usefulness of it is what makes me want to share it all the time.
Anyway, yes! Myers-Briggs! What's your type? Did reading this make you aware of your type, or how your type works if you already knew it?
If nothing else, it could be good for planning fictional characters' personalities in a varied and consistent way. That's one of the main uses I have for it.
This is made for fun and those who remember the good old days of getting these for Christmas in the 1980's. This can be made and used to place under a small Xmas Tree for a little old school Diorama of an 1980's style Xmas. hehe This is part of a series of cubees i have made for Christmas.
I adjusted the Cubeecraft / Papercraft idea to make mini-scale version of this old Star Wars toy box of the old Y-Wing Fighter. OK I know its not exactly the same as the 'Real' version. This is made just for fun to the good old days! Here is a photo of some of the other Mini Old toy boxes I have done to see what they would look like when put together [link]
And some more of these Old School Toy boxes can be found here [link]
Also there are some more of my Christmas Cubees (including Christmas Tree, Snowmen, Santa, The Grinch, Gingerbread men and more) can be found here [link]
Edit: by this time, I no longer use this technique (been over a year since my last attempt), but I still find the info here useful. If it was for me, I'm sure it can be for you too. If you want the file, hit Download, right there

This is the second tutorial I am posting here in DA and maybe some of the things here aren't exactly my speciality, but I'll let you know what's the content of this:
Lineart making (in anime/manga style)
Background drawing and coloring
That's basicaly it, but if there's something else you want to know about this tutorial, feel free to note me about it I'll try to answer.
Please let me know your opinion about this, as it's very important to me
