Sol.Terra - Episode 1.1: Terra DayCal stepped into the doorway of his shuttle and raised a hand to shield his eyes. The light on Terra was so harsh, particularly this continent. He reached into his coat and pulled out the tinted glasses and the bio-scanner he carried. Slipping the glasses on, he checked the scanner screen to make sure he had landed in the right place. The readout confirmed it: Sol.Terra, Australia, Sydney. A small blip on the corner of the screen told him the Soschan he’d been sent to find wasn’t far away. Too violent for IU membership, many Soschans had taken to using their unique camouflage ability to emigrate Off-World illegally. This suited Cal just fine, as it gave him an excuse to travel there as well to pick them up.Sol.Terra - Episode 1.1: Terra Day1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
Pocketing the device, Cal stepped down onto the dry grass and looked out across the small park and at the city properly, his breath coming out in a small whoosh. Balloons and streamers of every colour scattered the park and street. Garlands draped across the lamp posts a

Anakin opened the door of their suite and looked up past the brown folds of Jedi cloak to a masked alien face. He did not recognize this Jedi, nor the orange-faced youngling standing next to him, one of her pudgy hands gripping his trouser leg. She could not have been older than five, not if her species aged like Anakins.
Without looking around, he called out, Master Obi-Wan?
The tall alien said, Good day.
Anakin heard the footsteps and rustlings of Obi-Wans approach from within the young Masters room before Obi-Wan passed in front of him to soberly shake the visitors hand. Master Plo. Its good to see you.
Plo said, And you. The entire Temple waited to hear of how things fared at Naboo.
Im glad to be alive.
If you need to talk
Come in. Have some tea.
The Force grew cold and hollow, and Anakin realized with some surprise that he kne

The Republic seems to have the advantage in capital ship combat, but the CIS has some equalizing advantages.
Many of the CIS warships are designed for mass production, and were designed for business scores not a full scale war. Many of the CIS leaders were cheap, and wouldnt spend the money for a traditional fleet. Only the Providences seem to be specifically designed for combat. The Lukrehulks are simply converted freighters with VERY strong shields and some turbolaser offensive capability., but with the sheer number of Turbolasers and the shield power added, with the fighter and troop compliment, a Lucrehulk is much a more battle-worthy ship than a carrier like a Venator (why it takes a flotilla to take them down). That's not bad at all for a converted ship, isn't it The Recusants are mass-produced destroyers. The Munificents are originally used to harass worlds heavily in debt, guard treasure vaults, and transfer finan

Star Wars - The Weak Will Perish
The tremor that passed through Darth Sear's vessel told him that he had landed on the planets surface. He was excited. Despite the fierce battle being fought over head, he had felt the Jedi break off from the republic fleet and make his way down here. What was so important, that the republic would allow such a powerful asset to abandon them mid battle? The Sith lord wanted to find out. Mostly, he wanted to test himself against the so called might of the Jedi. He had only ever encountered the Jedi once before. A Padawan. His master had slain him with ease. Now it would be his turn. The exit ramp slowly began its descent, revealing the grey sandy surface of the planet. Darth Sear walked out into a sand storm. This was of little consequence to the Sith, considering his cybernetic eyes. He scanned his surroundings, the darkening sky lit up with the fire of battle, his dark robes violently fluttering in the wind. He f

Hefting the bucket she moved forwards with a purposeful glare as the five members of Wild Card squad and the three ARC troopers who would be accompanying the mission listened to the General's briefing.

After a moment's struggle he ripped the helmet from his head and threw it across the hangar. The sound of its impact echoed a

I hope the Predators don't come back for us at the colony, I've heard of the weapons they use to kill us from our Mother and my other siblings when they came back from a hunt. They give me chills but I've learned to let it go over time as long as the hive is safe I'm happy. She glanced in the mirror and went over to her cabinet, where she took out a jar of hair gel and slicked back her short, wavy auburn hair. This done, she went back to the bureau and put on some socks, then running shoes. Then she exited her room, l

With nothing in mind to say,
And emotions too overwhelming to fight.
Holding my hands you stare into the stars,
Expressions clear to be read,
My manliness stiffening, forming steel,
Sensual ecstasy slowly being fed.
You then stare into my eyes
You seeming so heavenly in the moonlight,
Hold me and make me say no lies,
I have no wish to fight.
Primitive we lay now,
With my emotions clearly gay,
Drops of me still shining upon you,
Thanking the stars for the state we now lay.

He's a slave like his mom.
Then his life went off like a bomb.
He's sold to Watto then,
Working hard time and again.
He built Threepio,
His talents started to show.
A ship from Naboo,
Landed with a queen in its crew.
With Jedi and guards,
The hyperdrive blasted to shards.
Ani and Padmé meet,
Ani talks really sweet.
She goes on her way,
But that's not the last say.
Ani races his pod,
Others end with a plod.
He wins the race and he's glad.
Watto's bets were real bad
Ani says goodbye to his mom,
A Jedi he will become.
The parts have been gained,
But a Sith shows some disdain
To the capital they go,
Where the queen tries to show,
Her planet in need,
But she don't succeed.
Anakin and Qui-Gon,
With Padawan Obi-Wan.
Face the council who say,
No training for Ani no way.

Say to Qui-Gon adieu.
He dies while Obi survives
Will train Ani who cries.
