A piece done during free time as a practice.

Base on the battle off Samar during World War II
when the destroyer USS Johnston lead the
counterattack against superior forces.

She just struck the Japanese Crusier IJN Kumano
with a torpedo that took off the bow of the ship,
before getting hit by the battleships Yamato and
Kongo.

She fought on with her captain issuing command from the rear bridge after the shells from Yamato wrecked the bridge

Major Edits
Major edits after some critcs, tried to make the scene more exciting and more details.

Increased the details on Johnston after getting quite a number of photo referances on the Fletcher class destroyers.

Throw in some of the Avenger Torpedos bombers (minus their torpedos) that also took part in the battle plus flaks in the sky. And the battleship Yamato in the far background.

The lemurian XR-54 Redeemer heavy battlesuit.

An advanced infantry battlesuit with 4 arms. The shorter ones can be equipped with several close and ranged combat weapons, including sniper rifles, assault guns, plasma pistols, shockers, xenolith blades, et cetera. The heavier variants makes this suit an all-around assault unit. They come with the heaviest weapons infantry can carry, such as the vulcan gattling cannon, heavy plasma cannon, missile launchers, heavy flamers and even built-in blades.

The armor is composed of the exclusive xenolith, available only to lemurians. A top notch material with high regenerative ability, sporting extra light weight.

Also equipped with advanced targeting sensors, jetpacks, shield generator, active camouflage and teleportation pack.

Often used in lemurian squads, although it's one of the rarer types of suits.
