Now you may think this is the original version, but if you closely you can see the changes I've made to it.
Next to Dooku is Ahsoka Tano (Clone Wars). Above Jabba is Starkiller (The Force unleashed). Next to Maul is Ventress (Clone Wars). And I threw in a Republic Star Destroyer & Boba Fett's Slave 1 above Starkiller.
My little tribute to the series! I always thought they were badassery, but they have a surprising history behind it. The first lightsabers were merely for ceremonial purposes, as they had to be plugged in and overheated quickly, but soon, power sources were smaller and they could be recharged when they were turned off.
The implimentation of a double blade by the fallen Jedi Exar Kun during the Great Sith War brought new forms of combat to the galaxy. Two blades for the price of one!
The multiple forms from the Shii Cho to the Makashi to the Vapaad created by Mace Windu turn lightsaber combat into an art and ballet as much as actual fighting.
The Lightsaber might be scoffed at by strangers to the series, but they will always be central to the storyline. We know it, we love it, and it will always be there for us!
There is no emotion, there is peace There is no ignorance, there is knowledge There is no passion, there is serenity There is no death, there is the Force
This is the 3 panel mini-brochure i designed to hand out in conjunction with my portfolio presentation as a kind of leave-behind-reminder of the work i just presented (in an interview situation) ... to put a name to the work basically.
The left image is the front view before it's unfolded - 2 spiral clips are used to fasten the piece closed. The second image is the view when the front panel is folded up, the third image being the brochure completely unfolded. The last image is the back of the piece. The thumbnail images inside are some of the work in my portfolio.
This is part of a larger self promo campaign with matching business card, resume, and website. i need a jobby job!
