Xian, China. The Terracotta Warriors. There are more than 8000 of them, average height 190 cm, each has a unique face. About a thousand years ago, a new Emperor called Xiang Yu gave an order to his army to invade into the Terracotta tomb and destroy everything there. He was an ambitious and envious guy, that Xiang Yu. So his army raided the tomb, took all the weapons that was held by the warriors and burned down the place. Everything that you can see nowadays has been restored piece by piece, starting from 1976. Originally, just like ancient Greek statues, the warriors were colored to look like humans. But now, due to the raids and the time, you only can see the base color of the figures.
