So I "finished" this costume for Alt*Con back in April, all in a three-day sprint because I apparently had some kind of lapse in sanity, lol.  I knew there was some stuff I wanted to fix, and since Rebels isn't even airing until this fall I've had to remake a few bits and change the paint job as more details get released.  It's not even the same costume at this point.  Still, I have no regrets!  It's a blast to wear and Sabine looks to be an awesome character (I identify with her on a deep level since she has colorful hair and is all covered in paint splatters. ;) )  Looks like I even have a shot at getting this approved for the Rebel Legion and the Mandalorian Mercs!

Armor and helmet were made from Sintra, guns and paint sprayer are made from pink insulation board and many MANY hours of gesso-ing and sanding, clothes were frankensteined from a few lucky thrift store finds, wig is an Arda Magnum in dark blue with fire orange wefts added.

Many thanks to Emerald Coast Cosplay for snapping some pics with me!  emeraldcoastcosplay.com/

Here's another attempt at one of these toy "Han Solo" guns. I think I improved the wood and metal surfaces, but it also took more time. I'll take that tradeoff, hehe

I will be doing more SW stuff soon so please check back or have a +watch :)

*Walked into the Star Wars Wedding with my costume on
"Woah look at that guy!"
*Takes of helmet and manages to pull off the "because you're worth it" hair swoosh
"Woah it's a girl!"

Lol. I know this isn't the most flattering picture of me, but still. It was fun

This is my Custom Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Cosplay I made.
Made out of cardboard, spackle, fabric, hot glue, paint, modded plexiglass, rope, model magic, and a black unitard (I bought the unitard). The flamethrower really lights up! Modded that from a dollar store candle. :D

It is my own character, who was stranded on a dinosaur planet and modded her armor after the Allosaurus-like creatures there. The blue markings represent the crest of the beast, painted on with its blood >

All done <sigh> and photographed on the top of my AV unit with it's nifty multicoloured back lighting...

The model is smaller than a sheet of A4 and is a drastic up-detailing of a readily available template.

It's been fun and I've learned a lot.

I'm also considering a studio scale replica build of the 35" model but that's definitely a project for another day...

I've now added a background Click here to go see [link]

Yes, the water does look freakishly blue doesn't it? XD I'm surprised I got that close to the edge of those wet ocks, considering it was at least a twenty foot drop to the water o.O
