Been wanting my very own Meltdown for awhile now, so I finally bought some paints and did a quick repaint. Plain-clothed in a weird ensemble that I thought fit her and didn't require too much editing from the original. Plan to make her one with full costume design eventually, but this was my first try.

Originally a Rachel Grey, Marvel Girl figure. Sculpted feet and repainted everything but skin tone. Still need to work on the hands a bit, but I didn't buy a flesh tone, so it had to wait.

She goes quite nicely with Movie-Toad if I do say so myself. The fire included with the figure doubles nicely as a bomb, I thought. Forgive the picture quality, it is apparently, considerably more difficult than I anticipated to photo action figures decently.

There's a pink streak added in her hair you can't really see here, but it made me happy.

I found this Airzone Quickfire rifle sometime ago. I bought it because I thought the barrel extension loosley resembled a Star Trek Phaser Rifle. This paint job was kept quite simple and clean, consisting of just black, silver and gold. Classic Trek gadgetry has a lot of little gold embellishments on it. I think the old school look is ugly and beautiful at the same time. I threw in known Star Trek Phasers from canon for comparison. I think it fits somewhere between classic Trek and Next Generation which is quite a large window of time. I'm calling it a proptype from that period of time which gets me of the hook with all the hardcore trekkies.

During this last week, I've been doing a lot of work with some McFarlane Toys Halo Reach action figures. Jorge here was the first figure I got, and over the course of a few days I've given him a complete re-paint. The entire figure, head-to-toe, is hand-painted. Even the tiny warning stickers and UNSC emblem and the like. Finding suitable paints to match Jorge's color scheme was difficult, but worth the effort. I'm also rather pleased with how my metallic visor and "chipped paint" effects turned out. It's also worth noting that the scuffs and chipped paint are a lot heavier on this figure than the others. I want you to be able to take one good look at Jorge and just know that he's seen more action than the rest of Noble Team combined.

This week Ultra Magnus is given the post-apocalyptic look. This noble warrior has witnessed countless battles and seeks to bring justice to all Decepticons the Autobots encounter. He was created from a Voyager Sentinel Prime, modified Dirt Boss head, and WfC Cliffjumper hands. Magnus' shellformer-ish backpack can be removed and set up as a missile base with Hailstorm's rocket pods integrated on to the top. It can also be worn with the rockets aimed over his shoulders. Two extra hellfire missile pods can be attached to Magnus' shoulders and his giant hammer was made from all sorts of fodder pieces and can be stored inside/on top of the missile rack. Chains were added and he was given a faded rust-weathered sponge paint job to complete the look!

Shockwave joints the End of the Road post-apocalyptic theme with his cold and calculating demeanor inside an H-tank form for maximum destruction. Created from a deluxe Generations Warpath he has four C-clip weapons and a larger Gatling hand cannon that can be attached at different ports including his shoulders where there use to be static weapons. Shockwave's chest replaces the original turret and he has various hoses/spikes/battle damage added. A worn and weathered sponge detailing gives him the look of an aged battle machine with various bullet holes added to complete the look. Now Bumblebee has someone to fight!

Hand Made Posable Fantasy: "Imperial Desert Stag" The only one of its kind, this unique, hand sculpted, fully poseable, large sized fantasy "Imperial Desert Stag" is a rare piece of artwork being offered up for bid! It's fully posable! This is a completely hand made fantasy creature. I hand sculpted the head, tail and feet onto a posable skeleton that I made and wrapped with stuffing so its very soft. Each marking in the fur was also applied by hand. I then paint the clay parts with acrylics and small brushes.. There is not another creature like this in the world! I do not use molds, casts or patterns, each is fully hand made and original. The "Imperial Desert Stag" is approximately 26 inches long and 18 inches tall. I sign each one. Enjoy!
