This is a complete repaint of the 2007 Revenge of the Sith Galactic Marine. I did this before Hasbro released their repaint of the figure that looks very similar to this one. This figure received a complete repaint in shades of white and black with a nice dirty wash to bring out the details and add realism. All was done with Vallejo Artist Acrylics and Varnishes.
Assembly, customizations and fabrications all by JVcustoms unless otherwise noted.

~Done for my beloved cousin Jesse Augustus for his birthday, at his request ~
The last time my younger cousins dropped by for a quick visit, about a month ago now, I had brought my Senbonzakura along to show off, since Iíd finished him the night before. Both of them were impressed by the sword (figures ) and didnít believe thatís what I was working on now.
Getting excited about it, the older of the two started telling me all about this book he was reading, and the character he liked in it. I started making notes about Will from The Rangerís Apprentice, and was asked if I could make a plushie of him for his birthday this year.
Checking around google, I found a few references to boot, and put him together not only in time for his birthday in two weeks, but for our County Fair as well!! Of course, I didnít submit him with the recurve bow and his quiver of arrows; things like that get lost too easily. But, heíll be going out complete at the end of the week to make it in time.
ÖNow I just have to dig out some wrapping paper that doesnít have snowmen or penguins on them!!
Finished painting up my wave seven scum and villainy for Fantasy Flight's X-Wing Miniatures game, one YV-666 freighter and two Kihraxz fighters. The Hound's Tooth model was sizable so I decided to try out some furtive free hand. Browsed the web for a bit and ended up trying to replicate some Star Wars nose art that I believe showed up in the animated Clone Wars. Looks satisfactory on the table, so I'm happy with how it turned out.
Han Solo from Star Wars. You can just barely make it out in this picture, but he’s even got the Correllian Bloodstripes up the outsides of his pants legs.
I joined a new knitting group and they’ve been really excited about seeing Star Wars dolls, so I’ve got a bunch more Star Wars WIPs than I originally expected. Expect more in the near future as I finish them.
