When he hears Obi-Wan call Qui-Gon Master, it is as if the ship has lurched beneath him; he has been terribly nowhat slaver would go through such an elaborate ruse to capture one boy, even a top racer? And he can sense the rightness, as surely as if he were beholding the wonders of the Jedi Temple already. (He is not sure what those wonders are, as mostly when he imagined Jedi they were flying or fighting, but right now the air seems as imbued with promise as with oxygen.)
So he assesses Obi-Wan again, and sees a man younger, less scarred, than Qui-Gons example had lead him to imagine Jedi to be; were he raised in Mos Espa, Anakin thought, Obi-Wan would be...what? A gambler, a farmer, a vagrant? He does not seem to fit any of those molds. On Tatooine, anyone with such...such a shy sort of politeness, paired with the authority and skill shown by the fact he carried a lightsaber, would be left alone.
Obi-Wan was waiting when Anak

A pair of liquid silver eyes blinked slowly, taking in the scene before them with interest and otherworldly detachment.
The voice was soft, as it always was, despite the gruff sound it had. She felt her heart beat faster, her eyes unable to focus on a single thing, everything was moving so fast. There were so many lives counting on her, so many people who looked to her for guidance, and once more, she took the place as leader on the field of battle. She looked around at the faces looking up at her, Carth Onasi, Bastila Shan, Canderous Ordo, Mission Vao, Zaalbar, Juhani, Jolee Bindo, the faithful droids HK-47 and T3-M4.
And now, two new faces joined their circle. One belonging to a woman she had never expected to see again in her entire life. It was Breena, standing there, in the flesh, those silvery blue eyes gazing up at her with same loyalty they had held when she had decided to march them off to war. They were both different people entirely now, but she suspected Breena's
Loss of ControlJagged Fel rushed to unstrap himself from his sim seat. He had just taken out the last Rogue and wanted to see who it was. It wasn't Rogue Lead, Darklghter was the second to last Rogue to get killed. Darklighter flew with an obvious style; decades of experience coupled with a hard grace. No, the last Rogue seemed fairly inexperienced. Whoever he was, he flew with an astounding amount of raw talent. What's more, he learned quickly and could make his X-wing dance. With a little more experience, he could even shoot me down. That Rogue had won Jagged's respect from flying alone, which was a difficult thing to do. No one else had managed it.Loss of Control6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Climbing out of his sim, Jagged scanned the area for the distinctive orange flight suits. There was one leaning against the wall by the exit, a lanky blond woman who appeared to be waiting for someone. She appeared to have been out of the sim for a while, her hair no longer damp with sweat. She glanced over towards him and with
The Bar In Red and BlueThe young woman made her way out onto the platform. The usually unruly audience became stunned by the beauty with short chocolate brown hair, in black and red standing confidently on the small stage. The people in the bar began quieting as the music began and as her voice rang out, the room was nearly silent. Silent; aside from a few dead-drunks shouting unintelligibly in a far corner. The young man behind the bar counter was especially drawn in. He set down the glass he had been shining in order to better focus his attention on her. Her her name was Meiko and it seemed to him that she had the most beautiful voice in the world. His dusky blue eyes stared dreamily at her and he lost himself in the song.
A man hesitantly walked up to the counter, unsure whether it was alright to disturb the young man who seemed entranced by the music Or the songstress herself. But nevertheless, he was at a bar and he wanted a

"Meiko… are you okay?" he asked the young woman still asleep in her bed.
Morning light crept in through the gap in her curtains, but other than that, the room was dark. She groaned softly, turning over in her bed. Normally, Meiko was up and ready for work before him, and the fact that she had slept in made him uneasy.
Kaito walked over to her. "You're sick aren't you?" he asked, rushing over to her side and placing a gentle hand on her forehead.
She looked up at him, her chocolate eyes teary and her cheeks flushed. "I'm dying..." She exaggerated, placing her hand over her eyes, either to shield herself from the blinding light, or the excruciating amount of sweetness that seemed to be coming from her blue haired friend's gaze.
He wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sorry, M

Her blood rushed in her ears and she pressed her gloved fingers to her temples and squeezed her eyes shut again, massaging her head to keep the pain from dominating her. No matter what she did however, Commander Lorraine Shepard couldn't get his voice out of her head. It was still there, whispering the same things to the darkest recesses of her mind...over and over and over... it was echoing through her skull, ricocheting through her mind and preying upon her thoughts. A speeder abruptly lands upon the landing platform,
"There's been a rebellion!" - "Sir, Its time for you to leave" my sergeant stated,
Pacing forward since I did not recognize his uniform,
Troopers of the 501st working hard to finish the perimeter they created.
For hours we pacified the Jedi,
After fighting a war along their side,
Their positions of peace only a lie,
Our numbers swelled as one by one they fell and died.
"GET HIM!" I heard shouted from behind,
The familiar hum and slash of a saber resonated so close,
A young Jedi cut through a trooper's arm, another's leg, my rifle..then MY chest.
The searing of flesh left me speechless with only my teeth to grind,
My men charging forward shooting him from his toes,
Down he fell ...much like all the rest.
Laying on the cold floor,
Silence except for the breath in my helmet,
These Jedi I've come to deplore,
My eyes grow heavy though..but we've surpassed this gauntlet.
My armor burning,

Charisma? Definitely not, charisma requires talking and for talking you need two necessities: something to talk about and someone to talk to; again I had none, what would I talk about? Hunting? No. ways of sneaking around? No. gossip and girly crushes? I’d rather die first.
Even if I had something to talk about, who would I tell it to? I had no friends, Slade would always come home late, most of the people that I had actually talked to more than ten minutes were all at least forty years older than me, plus as much as I liked Avis, I didn’t see him more than a few hours a day; we woke

Meiko's eyebrows creased in concentration, her chocolate eyes revealing her confusion. She didn't know exactly where to start, she had never been good with words. Or feelings. And what she wanted to discuss required both.
She started uncertainly after a few moments of silence, "Well you guys know how Kaito-"
"Worships the ground you walk on?" Lola added, abruptly finishing Meiko's sentence.

Under his white stormtrooper helmet, Rex's gaze darted from one soldier to another. They ran down the canyon path. Only a few attempted to use the canyon wall for cover. Most ran along the trail, some so close to the edge they sent pebbles plunging into the canyon depths. Just because the rebel base was supposed to be five klicks ahead didn't mean there wouldn't be some sort of ambush
These drafted men made the most inexperienced shiny look like a seasoned veteran. Ever since they'd been forced into the war, Rex had made it his full-time duty to keep the boys safe.
Rex paced himself, running more toward the back of the row. Even with the twisting canyon, they were badly exposed on the trail. It was only wide enough for two men to run side by side and the lack of cover worried Rex. The rebels wouldn't miss an opportunity like this.
One of the higher ranking stormtrooper waved to Rex and the other stragglers. "Get a move on. The captain says those rebel

The last monkey, the one with the flower on her head and the first one he rescued, stopped in her tracks and turned around to stare at him before following her friends again. He smiled at the fact he could help animals that were trapped in this so called forest temple, but it suddenly dropped from his face as Midnas black face took up his whole field of vision.

The War for the Red Planet
A Red Faction Story
Original Story Conceived and Written By Jon Huehner
Based on the video game created by Volition, Inc. and published by THQ, Inc.
As I walked toward the last military compound on the desolate rocky terrain, I gazed toward my target. My body, encased by the protective envirosuit, was at 56% stability and in my hands, a standard issue assault rifle with less than half a clip of ammunition.
The angry red planet wanted blood and the Ultor security squads kept it that way. The Miner Revolution began some months ago with successes and defeats here and there. I was part of Company G, a unit that collaborated with Companies T and D but the last few weeks saw the worst of the war. Our dwindling supplies, lack of additional firepower and limited resources quickly took a foothold in our door to success. Company T was virtually wiped out when they were ambushed by Ultors special c

Zuko’s arrival had earned him quite a big reaction from the student body. Upon seeing his scar many people openly expressed their horror. He saw their looks, saw them cringe and turn away in obvious disgust. He thought back to the blue eyed girl from yesterday- Katara! That was her name. He’d seen the brief surprise in her eyes when she looked at his face for the first time, but she at least had had the decency to mask her reaction. Some of the guys, like Jet, had given him looks of superiority. Zuko’s Uncle had told him to control his temper the day before he began school and Zuko readily told him he would. But the sneering faces didn’t make it any easier.
The other reaction he received was from several girls. Some of them giggled as he walked past. Some had been nice enough to wave, but of course, Zuko hadn’t been able to make himself wave back. Other girls were clustered in small or big groups and when they saw him, they would instantly start

It had been two months since Zuko started at his new school. He’d done his best to avoid the four people who had made it their life mission to befriend him. He stopped going to the cafeteria because Sokka, Aang, Katara and Toph were sure to join him. Sometimes Sokka’s girlfriend would also come along but that wasn’t for his benefit. He could tell by the way she openly flinched when her eyes fell on his scar.
Instead of the cafeteria he started hanging around the back of the school, which was usually isolated. But he’d been surprised to sometimes find Toph already there, blindly drawing a rough target with chalk on the wall and throwing rocks at it. She’d asked him to record her results. He’d once said:
“What’s the point of doing that? You’re blind.” It had taken him three seconds to realise the insensitivity of his comment. To his relief however, she’d turned to give him a grin and said:

She didnt want to risk potentially good customers to another bookstore.

I've been told it will be de-classified for Resolution 2, but I think I better keep my trap shut until then.

Zoё Mead was like any typical eleven year old in the small village of Cotswold. She lived on a farm, she played with the other children and went to school with them.
