Here's an illustration I did a while back for Wizards of the Coast's Dragon mag. As is true for most of my commercial work these days, I did a quick sketch in Photoshop for client approval, and then proceeded to block it out in black and white. Once I was happy with that, I layed in the colour, and continued to paint (still in Photoshop) into it, pretty much until I ran out of time... that's often my signal to stop

This is a commission that I did for datapacrat! He asked that I draw a scene from a story that's being written about his characters by someone else.
Pretty much his character (Data, in the bed) is recuperating in the hospital and while she's there she'd living her life through this other mouse. Both of them are wearing collars and glasses that transmit what's going on in real time.
I'm rather happy with how this came out. I was unsure about it when I first got the commission but it turned out much better than I expected!
Cell-shaded comish for BreeDucky of FA featuring Katie the breegull and Maundrill the dragon, fighting side by side as Jedi Knights of the Old Republic!
Hehe, Star Wars pieces for the wing! Er, win! Loved working on this, and love how it turned out! Was hella fun to do what with all the shading and colours and fun stuff. I'm really happy with the poses.
Commissions are open~
Thanks BreeDucky! Hope you and Maundrill like it! ~~~
here we are, the other side of the fight. Kato without his ear and a nasty burn down his face, he really did come off worse in this fight!
Yes, he does have one blue eye and one orange though its not that clear.
ohh and he's based on a maned wolf, thats why he has extra long arms and legs (not that you can see his legs but nevermind)
and, as my mum has just come in and mistaken him as female, that was delibrate. When i first drew him, he was going to be a she before i changed my mind, so i decided to keep him a bit girly-looking. well, seeing that all my blokes end up girly-looking at leat this time i have a reason!
