The MoveThey all say to live in the moment
They all say to look forward to the future
But no one ever says to live in the past.
I suppose they have a good reason not to
The past is a place you were once in
And will never be in again.
The past is a place where poor souls go to find comfort
These poor souls find that their souls become poorer
Once they return to their poor present.
They are then left with a feeling of longing
A feeling of longing that nothing can satisfy
Nothing, other than their past.
I live in my past.
I gently swim in the contents of my mind
I swim in a place where I am engulfed by a sea of memories
Memories that give me feeling I once felt
Feelings I cannot feel today.
I love being in that sea.
I feel I belong in that sea.
I do not swim for long, though.
I wake up, far away from where I was a moment ago
My feelings of bliss are quickly replaced with depression
A depression brought from hopeless longing
And a feeling of misplacement.
The present is not something I can escape

I cant believe you Neji-sama! Exclaimed a distraught Hanabi. You locked us up in the closet for over a day! Ill be mentally scarred for life because of this!
Im glad. Now go away. Neji brushed Hanabi off as he escorted Tenten to the kitchen.
No! Im not going to leave you alone until you apologize! Hanabis face was red with frustration as she made her bold declaration.
I will not apologize. I have no reason to. As I recall it was you and your little friends who were throwing kunai and water balloons at us while Tenten and I slept last night. In fact I think it would be rather appropriate for you to apologize instead of me.
How dare you! Hanabi scowled deeply. You have no right to speak to a Hyuuga of the main house like that! I swear that you shall be punished dearly cousi

Take me back,
To every day,
As I learn,
To let it go,
I feel peace I've never known.

over to calm the raging seas,
a pinnacle point, to quash the rage of the oceans.
Come to my side, in the pouring rain and howling wind.
Let the squall lash your dark hair across your pale face,
turn your seagreen eyes unto mine night sky blue's.
Here layeth the raging storms of torrential emotion,
which poured forth from a broken, bruiséd and shattered heart.
Here you sung to the storms, though they railed against you,
your steady, confident gentleness soothed the wrath away.
Now together, within my walls we sit and confide in each other,
share long passed secrets and long lost stories.
Between the walls, you and I, we grew to love, in secret,
though quiet, our love grew warmer day to day.
Turning to replace the storms of fear, to storms of passion.
And the vessels of our hearts deftly skim the waves of our love,
no serpents from the deep snap at the keels anymore,
as together we conquered them.
On days of calm we sit a
I Love CompletelyI love, I love; I love completely.I Love Completely6 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
With these words my soul is free,
And every worry, every care,
Will disappear into thin air,
So I can live life joyously.
I love, I love; I love completely,
All hatred shall now cease to be,
As darkness has no power where,
I love, I love; I love completely,
This planet of innate beauty,
Each day I stop, each day I stare,
At mountains here and rivers there,
As with the creatures and the trees,

But what if the pain,
Needs to be felt here and now?
You cannot be numb.

cries to sleep
Unable to escape failure
even in her dreams
She's wondering whether
the jagged hole will ever heal
whether the sting
the burn will fade and cease
Trying to find her way home,
to a place she could never trust
She's leaving trails of fragile hopes behind
ready to take the fall
It could've been easy
but it never is
If only she could stop making mistakes

Dip your toes into galaxies,
Whisper into a void,
Asteroids you must avoid,
You aren't right,
Take a bite of moons,
They taste like cheese and prunes,
Forget the horror,
Of a horror worth forgetting,
Let yourself slip away,
Into a world of dream.

Devious DamselOh look at her, tis such a shame,Devious Damsel6 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
A beast beside a dainty dame,
And clothed upon her satin skin,
Are rays of sunlight that wherein,
Can never bare what hides beneath,
The lamb that bites with wolf-like teeth.
For she is more than she appears,
A monster well beyond her years,
The dragon near her tiny form,
Will die a tragic death 'fore long,
This damsel acts in mere distress,
She is so cunning; dangerous.
In victory she swiftly slides,
From all the clothes in which she hides,
Revealed to all in moonlight's eye,
A pale young figure to the sky,
A cruel seductress - that is she,
Tragedy meets all she sees.
SoupThe ingredients...Soup3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
They were unexpected.
At a glance,
One would think
Of only the incompatibility,
And yet, the taste,
And the texture...
The fragrance was indescribable.
After a few more spoonfuls,
Questions were spilling out
Too fast to be answered.
"How was the soup made?
How long was it boiled for?
At what temperatures?
Were there any secret ingredients
From the menu?"
The chef merely smiled,
At the bowl of soup.
After a few more spoonfuls,
The answer was found
As a gentle, loving warmth
Wrapped its arms around her.
It was love in its purest form,

Dead FlowersToday is the day I got those dead flowers,Dead Flowers6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The ones you read about,
No chocolate or heart felt kisses,
Dead flowers from a lovers spout,
Rainbow words would be good today,
But i dont think that sums it up,
Dead flowers gone by, Dead flowers tomorrow,
Catching petals in my petal cup,
Whispered words about things gone by,
The sorrow turns to smiles,
Dead flowers are all I really wanted,
Because they took the time to die.

Crunchy sticks and curves, curls
Putting hand to paper
The language leaking onto it
Stitching itself into neat lines
In pencil lead
Jumping to the pulse
The startled gallop of a horse
Melded into the rhythm
Gritty but not unclean
Not unlike soil clinging
To the vibrant body of a carrot
Freshly pulled from the ground
The letters plucked from imagination
And noted before their loss
