Might take a while to load... :U I hope Mr. Steve Jobs doesn't roll in his grave because of my *cough* poorly done "iPod" parody here.
People requested it, so here it is! A list of all of the songs used in Number Days Sim Date! (Note: These are the cut and edited versions. When you download them, they may sound different because they are the original ones)
When you click on the download button, your computer should automatically download the file and it'll show up in the place where ever you set your downloads to go to. If your internet's being a butt, you can look up the titles and download directly from this site.
If the site's not working for you, there are other sites that have it available for you to play (just google "number days sim date" and you should be able to find them) sorry for any inconvenience ;o;
It’s December! And I’ve miraculously managed to release this game on the 1st… ;7; (seriously, I planned for this to be out way later this month) Can this count as an early holiday gift to all of you lovely people…?
Sorry if the dialogue seems rough in some places, I got sick partway through making this game (I’m still kind of sick actually) and when I’m sick, my writing can become blaaaahhh…
There are 8 different endings and 5 characters of possible friendship and romantic interest.
This sim date is probably the least "sim date-y" out of all of my dating simulations. I guess it could be described as part adventure, part dating sim, and part strategy? Somewhat, I'd say... some parts of this might drive you "easy-going players" a little nuts. ;w; This game isn't easy for everyone.
If you’re really not interested in the story and just want the romance, then make sure to select Free Mode in the menu where you fill out your name, select your star sign, etc. But do note that the romance may feel a bit rushed if you skip all of the story scenes… and the game play may seem a bit confusing to some because it skips all the tutorials too. Another note about Free Mode: it's good for getting other events and endings you perhaps didn’t get when you played the first time through in Story Mode. It's also good if you just want to collect all of the pressed pennies, stickers, and photos.
I’m not sure if I’m going to make any sort of walk-through or guide for this. People seem to be pretty good at figuring things out and those who can’t figure it out normally find the solutions via Google searches or from the comments on here.
For Bug/Glitches I apologize if you run into any bugs or glitches. (seriously, they are not cute and I do not pity them like Vanellope in Wreck-It Ralph) There shouldn’t be any (that cause big issues), but some of them are sneaky… so they were missed during the debugging process. But if you do find any, you can describe the problem in a comment on here and I’ll take care of it.
If your number is 99, just walk around everywhere. It means that someone has yet to expire...
And there are always those few spelling/word errors in my stuff, no matter how much I reread and check the script. If you want to tell me about any, either quote it in a comment on here or just describe the basic context of the conversation. I should be able to find it.
3/28/14: Because this game was published using a trial of a version of Flash that I do not have anymore and the current trial of Flash CC available on Adobe doesn't support ActionScript 2.0, it'll take me a while to get this game available here on deviantART. Not sure what will exactly happen to the link this leads to when Mochi Media shuts down on March 31st, 2014. I'm guessing the server won't even be up anymore though. This this might be down for a while, just sayin'. I'll get it working here hopefully soon ;o;
If that site doesn't work for you, you can find other sites to play it on with a simple Google search.
EDIT: I just submitted a newer version with less bugs. Thanks guys! (seriously, some of those bugs... I probably would have never found on my own)
This project felt too long for me. Now I’m going to walk a million miles on my treadmill, play Sims 3 as if there was no tomorrow, hibernate for the rest of the summer, dance until my legs fall off, eat every edible thing in my house, and derp on the internet forever.
Memory Days Sim Date’s game play is a bit different from my other dating simulations. 3 datable guys, a butt load of cut scenes, and 10 different endings. (some endings are a bit trickier to get than others... some endings are pretty bizarre too.) If you’re really new to my stuff, I’d recommend going through the overview at the beginning. I’ve never done this before, but I might create a walkthrough for this game later... unless if there’s this really devoted and clever person out there who figures out how to do everything and makes a guide themself.
Ai (renamable): You, the player character. Overall she’s reserved and a bit introverted which causes her to be awkward sometimes. Spends a lot of time thinking and is more perceptive than most people. Haru: Takes social discomfort to a new level. The player character doesn’t seem awkward at all compared to him. His personality is deep and he’s the most sensitive and romantic guy out of the bunch. Daichi: Outgoing, fun, and kind of a dork. He’s honest and humble which makes him easy to talk to. Though he seems to be all smiles, there are times when he’ll take things pretty seriously. Kai: A very compassionate and kind person. Tends to be more frisky and daring when he’s around people he cares for. Occasionally he’ll be too forward and drive people away from him.
I’m surprised by the feedback I’m getting from this game. I really thought that half of the people out there were going to love it while the other half would’ve loathed it due to all of the "adventure/quest" aspects, odd strategic game play, and lack of romance.
I’m glad many of you think I’m improving. I really try to. I’m not that great of a writer, illustrator, or coder, but can I get an A+ for effort? ;7; (I’m the type of person who’s just okay at a few skills of trade, but not highly talented or specialized in one…) For a while, I was thinking that I was losing my touch with dating sims but I think I’m getting some of my muse back.
But guys. All of you. Thanks. I’m still kind of in disbelief that so many people took a liking to this game. I want to keep on working hard so that I can bring all my ideas to life and share them with all of yooouu…!
By the way, since you’re reading this, would a list of the songs played in this game (and download links) tickle anybody’s fancy? I’m just going to put that out there… not sure if anyone cares that much about them…
This is Texting Days Sim Date *cough* I mean *cough* Number Days Sim Date. But don’t be fooled. I promise you, there is very little to no math involved in this game…
(And yes, you can date the chick. If you’re grossed out by this option or if you’re just simply a straight girl with no desire to explore, you can avoid all the romantic situations by ignoring her… this also applies to any dudes that gross you out.)
Release date: December 2012 (You may be wondering: "The beginning, middle, or... end of the month?" It's hard to predict the exact day I can release it but it'll be ready within December, I'm pretty sure of it) ;w;
(Please note that I’m not home as often as I was back in the past. Classes are longer for me and I’m working more now. Overall, these projects take time and I highly appreciate the patience you guys have for me. I wish to get to done before 2013, but the month of release has yet to be determined. If I’m not finished by December 21, 2012 and if the world actually comes to an end… well then I’m out of luck.)
3/28/14: I'm having a butt load of trouble publishing the .swf file to this for some reason as it somehow always maxes out the memory on my computer. Like, even on high performance mode and increasing my limit didn't help? Yet somehow my sim dates that are numerous times larger in size can still publish normally... Not sure what will happen to the link this leads to when Mochi Media shuts down on March 31st, 2014, but just a heads up that this might not be working for a while. I'll get it working here hopefully soon ;o;
I'm attending my school's prom tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to it. (probably because I'm going with my friends that I love oh so much... and my "date" is my ridiculous guy friend that I goof off with every day so I'm bound to have fun)
On another note, this episode isn't as literal as the others and is kind of open to interpretation.
Next episode is the finale! Oh lordddd it's coming to an end...! ;w;
.mp3 files are a butt to load... patience will probably be necessary.
When it's done loading, click "PLAY" and then just click on any song title to hear it. If that's not working, then your internet/computer is probably still catching up on loading. Downloading this (the download button is off to the right side) may help your computer load it properly.
If there's a song that you heard in the game but don't see it here, it appeared in the first season and can be found here.
Also added a "stop" button this time around. Hopefully some people will find that convenient.
So this is a list of all the songs used in Xolga and Mr. Toko Again. If you're going to download them, keep in mind that some of these may sound a little bit different than what you hear on this. Some of these songs were cut/edited for the game.
When you click on the download button, your computer should automatically download the file and it'll show up in the place where ever you set your downloads to go to. "Bounce" will take you to Flash Kit though. For Flash Kit, the download links are under "Download Loop as". You have the option to get it as a .wav, .mp3, or a flashtrak.
If your internet's being a butt, you can look up the titles and download directly from this site.
I actually made this quite a while back... for my school's film festival. Uploaded this to deviantART because ~ZemnDragonheart told me to. ;w; (Yes, it's mainly a trailer for season one, but does contain some clips from season two...)
But the following year I didn't make a video for the film festival... ...which caused me to be bombarded by several members and teachers, encouraging me to enter this year. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on my entry though... (I was actually pretty focused on making episodes of season 2 at the time) So I whipped up this *cough* shameful self promotion *cough*
The other day it was raining and I saw this enormous worm (I swear, it was 10 inches long and it was very plump). I had the biggest urge to pick it up and take it home with me. I didn't though... And I'm regret it.
Okay. Getting back to the actual subject, I just hope you guys enjoy this episode. ;w;
