This build features a set of variations which were built-in from existing plugins (to reduce the need of .DLL plugins):
- log (derived from *zy0rg's logn plugin; includes the "base" variable)

- epispiral (derived from *cyberxaos' Epispiral plugin; corrected name to be all-lowercase as defined by the naming convention)
- bwraps (derived from bwraps2; removed the "2" in the name)

+ Added color curves dialog
+ Fixed plugin recognition routines. Variations, which were already built-in were loaded anyway which lead to an "Access Violation" storm in the editor. Thanks again ~morphapoph for tracking the origin of the problem in such a masterful way!
The color curves dialog is very simple and straight forward. Works like the one in Photoshop. Or Chaotica. Or GIMP...and it's not perfect. It's a new feature and maybe a bit bugged. But we'll see how much better it gets over time

It's a Vista/7-issue which spawned after using Delphi XE2 as the main compiler (since 15C) You have multiple possibilities:
1. Right click the Apophysis shortcut or EXE-file and select "Properties". Go to the "Compatibility" tab and check "Run as administrator". Try again.
2. Copy your Apophysis folder to the desktop (or "My Documents") and try running it from that location.
3. Go to the control panel and disable UAC ("User account control")
A permanent fix is on the way.
I get a crap ton of access violations when I open Apophysis and/or the Editor window
My assumption is that there is an incompatibility in your settings. Reset them the following way:
1. Exit Apo, hold the Windows-Key and hit "R" on your keyboard. Enter "regedit" and hit return.
2. On the left side, browse to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software" and find the folder "Apophysis 7X".
3. Right click that folder and click "Delete".

Please be aware that this installer is for Microsoft Windows only. It comes in two versions: for the 32 bit and the 64 bit version of Apophysis 7X 15C. The two versions can be installed side-by-side. Even in a single folder (but be careful - you might not want to uninstall the 32 bit version if you have the 64 bit version in the same folder so I recommend keeping the folders separate)
Unlike for the ZIP-package, 32- and 64 bit version do not come in a single file!
Currently, the german, italian and chinese language packs are shipped with the installer. The other language packs are outdated and for the vanilla version 7x15 only.
The 32 bit-installer offers you to install a collection of DC-plugins as well as two sample scripts. Please mind that upon uninstallation, these plugin .DLL-files will be removed even if they were there before. This also app

This release is mainly a bugfix release for the 0.47 beta, with many improvements to the user interface fixing issues such as the fractal not scaling when you changed resolution, imaging settings being spuriously reset and not saved properly etc. Hopefully it's a bit more friendly to use nowIt'll still crash if you try to restore state without having the original params loaded, that'll be fixed in the next release.
Another important change in this build is restored native support for bipolar, thanks to code `XyrusWorx provided from Apo7X15C beta 3. I'm hoping the small difference in handling the divide by zero and negative log etc will finally enable full compatibility - please test this and report if something looks wrong!

I'm sorry for the update frequency but that's how it is in the first days after a new major release! People are actively tracking bugs and report the results to me. And I fix them and release hotfixes

I know it's been some time but I'm having hell of a release going on here. So I just didn't came to check on what's wrong with the saving of final transforms. I finally made it so that I'm not there 7am to 10pm every day. This means: it's fixing time.
To provide you with an acceptable solution, I just reverted the behavior of FXes to the one of 15C. So that you at least get to use 64 bit plugins / scripts AND final xforms

It's a patch so just replace the EXE files in your installation. If you didn't update yet, you can with this. In this case, you also just replace the EXE files. Remember the release notes from the original 15D package, though. It contains valuable information on how to use 64 bit plugins and compile multi-architecture plugins (32/64) from existing and new plugin code.

One week ago was a sad day for the family of :iconkram666: and the deviant community.
He passed away at the age of only 48. Him who was so dedicated to digital art will never leave anyone of us a comment or reply to those given to him. He will never again fill our inboxes with his colorful fractals or cute photos of the foxes.
But even if his body has passed away - he will stay alive within us and within the art in his gallery.
I'm sure that he is somewhere where he can still appreciate our support of his art, so this is my hommage to a wonderful artist AND his family.

Many small changes were made as well one major one: the scripting-tab was complety re-implemented.
Complete list of changes:
- re-implemented the script-tab: scripts are now maintained in a folder-like structure. There are two main folders: "Built-in scripts" (examples) and "Your scripts". The latter points to an arbitrary folder on your harddisc and holds your own scripts. You can easily create and copy scripts either using the new functions in JWildfire or by just copying/creating them manually. Additionally, scripts now always contain of two files: the description (plain text) and the code (Java code)
- added most of the recent scripts from the JWildfire Open Group as examples
- new path for scripts in the Preferences editor, moved the old script path (for the animation editor) into a new "Misc" category
- added the possibility to delete flame files from within the file dialog
- added (again) separate buttons for moving, rotating and scaling of triangl

Fantastic Fractal FabricationsIf ya haven't noticed I've become addicted to Ultra Fractal in this past week!! I put off trying the demo for well over almost 2 years but finally gave in and tried it!!
