Korra's heavy head lightened a little at the sight of an empty driveway - it meant that there might not be anyone home. After pulling in and shutting down her vehicle, Korra stepped out from her recently air-conditioned car into the blazing sun. She made quick steps toward the porch, and noticed the front door was open. Some pressure pushed back on her skull as she cautiously entered, wondering who was home.
Asami was sitting before her on the living room couch, garbed in a maroon button down shirt and black slacks. She was surveying her laptop, and looked up to Korra with surprise.
Korra tiredly kicked off her flip-flops and gave Asami a we

He tried to ignore it. He really did.
“Optimus Prime. I will not stop contacting you until you pick up.”
Did he really have to do that? He could just block his number, but his processor would still pick up him trying to contact him, like an annoying buzz in the back of his mind.
“Prime. Please respond. I know you are there. Commander. Commander.”
With a long-suffering groan, Optimus finally gave in. Lifting his hand from tracing illicit shapes in the white protoform of Elita’s back, he wearily touched his audio. “Prowl . . .”
His optics dropped to where Elita was idly pressing affectionate kisses to his chest. He trailed his fingers up the curve of her back, relishing in the sight of her protoform glowing in the sun peeking over the horizon.
“Prowl . . . It's too early for this.”
Elita’s lips pulled into a wide smile at his wo

June Darby couldn't believe her eyes. It wasn't too long ago that she'd last experienced that feeling of being utterly overwhelmed by the sight in front of her: only last night had she witnessed her son's motorcycle leap into the form of a gigantic alien robot and promptly wipe the floor with another of its kind an evil one that had taken her hostage and threatened to kill her. But that feeling terrifying as it was was pretty insignificant compared to how she felt now in the Autobots' base.
She and her son dismounted the motorcycle in question, and an awkward grin creased Jack's face as the bike Arcee abruptly began to shift into her bipedal form. The transition was smooth and almost instantaneous; June felt slightly relieved to see that her son's otherworldly friend was smiling when the astounding process was complete. Four more ridiculously tall robots were approaching

Ratchet's respect grew for her (if a hint of apprehension still stayed). Bulkhead finally gave up his grudge to Nightstalker with the gruff remark that if she had saved Miko she was all right in his book. Nightstalker was relieved when she got Ratchet to agree to remove her Decepticon insignia and replace it with an Autobot emblem. It gave her little giddy feelings on the inside to know that she was accepted somewhere when it had never happened in her past life. Always the loner . . . She felt cared for in this environment, and that was what made her revenge on Optimus fester the worst.
She didn't know whether she lusted for it or if she was haunted by it. Every time she saw his back that pain would slash through her, but the doubt butted its head in every time she saw Bumblebee smile at him or eagerly throw his spark into whatever Optimus asked of him. Her claws gouged mor

“I’m not kidding, that robot cock was HUGE.”
“Who was the red mech? Did you know about this?”
“Nightflier, get your sexy ass over here! Family meeting!”
Nightflier stood rooted to the spot, halfway to the main hangar when he heard his passel of human pals calling out to him. Actually, shouting at the top of their lungs with the recent topic of gossip. His jaw was partially unhinged from the first statement; he thanked D.O.A silently on the inside for reprimanding Timber; he wondered if that HUGE statement was just blown out of proportions because they were human; yes, he knew about Cliffjumper . . . who had promised to be good; and did Boobie just call him sexy?
But mainly, his processor grinded to a stop at the fact that his sister had been caught interfacing. No, not even that she had been ca

What could he do? He was actually quite—begrudgingly—impressed that the Autobots actually HAD a brig at all. At most, it could hold four as he could see the places where it would split again down the centers, but for him they left it as one giant half room of the hangar. Empty, save for a hard berth. Wheeljack sat on the ground where Prowl had shoved him, and he hadn’t moved from the position since, red optics pinned to the powerful force fields encasing him from all sides. The ship the newbie Autobots came in on must have held some provisions to allow this.
In fact, since he had been tossed in the brig, he had been sure it would have been Optimus Prime that came to question him. Or his little lap dog.
But no. Lo and behold, the door that opened was human sized, and through walked a male.

Ignoring that it was drawing closer to the hour that morning when someone was going to be coming to let her out of the cell, Arcee took a deep breath, breathing as deep as she could of Wheeljack’s scent. She had fared well through the night. There were a few bruises along her protoform from where he had gripped her too tightly, patterns of fingerprints on her arms and waist, but they hardly bothered her.
Sitting up slightly, Arcee gazed down at where his optics were shuttered in his recharge. Indulging in the fact that she was finally the one up first for a change, Arcee let her gaze travel over the built frame beneath her. The edge of her lip curled up.

She wrinkled her nose and crossed her arms. "What? You want me to keep shouting at you from way over here to keep talking to you?"
Wheeljack risked a glance up at her with a grin before he focused down on the capsule on the table. "I have a penchant for blowing stuff up," he told her wryly. "Just ask the othersI bet Optimus wouldn't want you in the same room as me right now. In fact, back up another ten feet, just for your own well being and my peace of mind."
Miko frowned more but backed up accordingly. She raised her voice more to be heard. "So what is it?"
A grin touched his face, but Wheeljack didn't remove his eyes from rerouting the capsule just right. "It's a grenade," he said, carefully attaching a wire to its designated po

The Clone Wars: Battlefield Christophsis
The Clone Wars have begun, not two months have passed since the opening battle of the war on Geonosis and the planets of the Galactic Republic are under grave threat from the Confederacy of Independent Systems and their Droid Army. The Separatists control many of the hyperspace lanes that link the Republic together, effectively isolating member planets across the Republic and leaving them all but defenseless.
One such planet is the rich world of Christophsis. This planet is not only a major economic hub for the Republic, but it is one of the few planets which has allowed refugee camps upon its surface. Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan has been a major sponsor of these camps and was touring the planet when the Confederacy struck.
With only limited defensive forces, Christophsis was no match for the might of the Droid Army which quickly swept across the planet and conquered it save for a few scattered hold outs. Desperate both to secure t

I watched this not too long after the first live-action Transformers movie came out. I chose to watch it because it was coming on Cartoon Network and that was my favorite channel at the time. Plus I figured it could be as good as the first movie without the sexual moments of course.
So I saw the whole series (Season 1 & 2 on TV and Season 3 on YouTube) and noticed that there are similarities with this show and the movie. One of the similarities is that the Autobots and Decepticons were battling each other over the All-Spark. This issue didn't become a big deal after the first season and it was kind of the same way after the first movie. There is another similarity where Optimus Prime was flying in the second movie while in the "Animated" series he doesn't fly until the end of season 3. Another similarity from the

The first human using their cellular device? He didn’t think the kid would make the same mistake twice. The second? She would never. Twice in a row was suspicious, but Starscream deployed more troops. And an energon mine getting attacked at the same time?
Dumb. But Starscream was dumber, so Wheeljack watched arrogantly with his arms crossed as Starscream made a fool of himself scattering half the army across the continent. And, turned out, the mine was not under attack—the Autobots had used the derelict HARBINGER to infiltrate their communications.
Sly, he would give them that. But foolhardy.
“Open a ground bridge to the HARBINGER!”
No sooner had Starscream ordered Soundwave than did a blast rock up Darkmount’s base struts, rattling all the way to their height by the force of the blow. Wheeljack’s gaze flattened.
The fresh batch of Synthen burned in his systems. It created a palpable, stinging buzz that made his trig

A/N: This is the third written chapter of 'Esteemed,' a series dedicated to exploring the theoretical lives of Toph and Lin Beifong. Once in a while, I will write chapters from Lin's perspective, though the majority of the story I have planned is in regards to Toph. A running theme that connects the two together is not only their bond as mother and daughter but also, as the series' title implies, their role as 'Esteemed Chief of Police' and the weight that kind of job can have.
This story is accompanied by a growing collection of fan art. You find this at the DA group listed above or at the project's Facebook page (Search for Esteemed Beifongs) where you can follow all updates for the project. You can find these links in the description.

Now I am torn in between
The good of life
And the evil of death
I just cannot stop this path
That will soon come to be my end.

She disappears in a puff of smoke and leaves me standing there
In a dress of the palest gossamer, with fancy curling hair.
I take a step—my slippers pinch—“Oh dear, they’re slightly small―”
But the coachman interrupts me: “Come! We cannot miss the ball!”
He grins at me with buck teeth as he stands by the carriage door;
I climb inside; my slippers sink in the spongy, slippery floor.
The seat is slightly sticky, leaving pumpkin on my palms,
But the coachman cries, “Hooray! We’re off!” and waves excited arms.
The carriage starts with a painful lurch and soon we’re rolling fast;
I close my eyes and pray it holds together to the last.
My hair is shaken loose; I bump my head, my hand, my knee,
And I wonder if that fairy passed her Magic Arts degree.
Along we jump and jerk and jolt; I’m flung from side to side;
The carriage comes to a screeching halt to end our breakneck ride.

It was finally Ratchet putting his foot down and telling Nightflier to DO something about it that Nightflier decided he would.
Thus, with a little help from his human friends, he was tracking Nightstalker. The base was only so big, so there were only so many places to hide, but clearly over the years she had gotten just a mite better at hiding from him. Nightflier himself wasn’t much of a tracker, but he WAS stealthy. And by following in the tracks he himself would take not to get caught, he was sure to find her somewhere.
And, with a tip of D.O.A.’s hat, a jerk of Casino’s thumb, or the wild flailing of Timber’s arms, he had a pretty good bead on where his sister was headed.

Wheeljack shifted his optics over to Ratchet who was scanning him again, double checking his status even before he answered.
His glossia felt a little thick, like it was having troubles working with his articulators. His throat was still raw, most likely from the screaming and the choking. His central processor throbbed. His systems felt sluggish and slow as they struggled to recalibrate to their full capacity. Experimentally, Wheeljack flexed his hands and drew them into fists.
Ratchet made a perturbed sound in the back of his throat. "Hm, well yes, considering what slag you put yourself through, it's no wonder you feel like that."
A tired scowl came to Wheeljack's face. Pushing himself into a sitting position and pulling off the instruments attached to him, Ratchet arching a warning brow at him. Wheeljack felt the strain it took for that si
