OC: VelesName: Veles Harkov
Race: SuperHuman (Demon Contractor)
One of the few cases of a contract with a Level 5 demon, Veles was originally a simple human male. However, he became bonded with a demon named Laelia, or Lady of the Lake. Laelia’s case is remarkable, as she used to be an angel, yet she fell into demonhood, but not willingly. She wanted to escape Hell, to go back to the Human Realm, yet she was bound to Hell. Thus, she formed a contract with a young street urchin who knew the truth about this world.
Character Theme song: TBA
Appearance: He has completely white hair which is clipped short, meaning it only goes to the collar of his shirt. He usually wears a flak jacket, which is knee-length, yet tied around at his torso to prevent it from bellowing (too much). He always wears a set of black pants reinforced by Kevlar, with hardened layered polyester armor at his knees. After his death and rebirth, he has become 5'11" tall, about average height. "See you, dad"
I wheel myself down the ramp wh- wait, I almost forgot to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Charlie Weaver. As you can tell, I'm crippled. I was in a car accident with my parents with my sister. This happened 10 years ago, when I was 4. When we were driving home, a truck smashed into the back of our car. Shrapnel flew into my sister's spinal cord and mine. After this incidence, we were both crippled, seemingly for life.
Barely 2 years after this horror, another nightmarish scenario happened. A meteor came flying to Earth. I could barely remember it, but I do remember watching it on the TV, watching all of modern science do crap. I was praying to god when news came that it was about the size of a tennis ball. I thought it was all over, when another story came in, this time a librarian got a new virus.
This too, was all on television. The librarian thought he had got a cold. When he was working, however, he started to change. The librarian turned

My dad's voice broke me out of my stupor.
"Charlie, you're going to need to need to stay at a taur hotel for a while, because we're going to need some new furniture. Your mom is still in taur form, so the house doesn't need to be modified."
My dad talked to the storeowner and got a reservation at the Happy Taur hotel. Afterwards, we stayed at the store for about an hour, doing the shopping for my new cloths. I got some Axe taur body spray. At this point, all major cosmetics companies had a taur product line. The storekeeper gave me some advice, like not to get my hair too wet, how to dry it, and to avoid certain foods. We also got a new phone, which looked much more durable than my old one. Luckily, there is a discount for "newbies". The whole time, I was thinking about the next day, and how people were going to react. I hope I could still play in the orchestra as the leader of the first violins.
On the way home, my sister and me had a really deep conversation.

The whole planet trembled the moment it happened, eight years ago. I was just nine when it happened but it was enough to deeply scare me. A meteor struck Africa and there was nothing modern science could do about it, people though it was the end of the line for earth. Yet at the moment of impact only a crater and mild quakes were the end results. For a second the earth sighed as the so called "doomsday" turned out to be a pebble the size of a truck crashing in the middle of the western shorelines of Africa.
The world was relived and soon after things returned back to normal well sort of. There was a huge ongoing investigation of the crater as well of the meteor's remains, but there was no way it would affect us Or so we thought.
It made itself present months later around the continent an odd disease started appearing. It wasn't life-threatening so far, merely some fever, raspy voice, stomachache among other symptoms. The CDC confirmed there was a link bet

Y'know, call that day whatever you wish---Z-Day, World War Z, Zombie War I, the list goes on, call it whatever it doesn't change how epically fucked we are at the moment, but I'll keep to those three for whoever reads this. I do think that Disturbed's song called "Overburdened" fits as the perfect analogy for what hell has unleashed upon us all here on Earth. But, then Drowning Pool's "Bodies" describes what happens when you pop one of the undead sons-of-bitches in the head.
I could only laugh now, well, if it was a good time. As a ZERO there wasn't a good time, unless you were behind the "line", and then there is another contradiction in and of itself. You can't really draw battle lines when your fucking enemy is every other moving thing out there.
"Johnny! Johnny Lyles! Get off your ass and come on. Battalion wants another patrol." Lieutenant Valdez Lorenzo barked. "Another undead fucker's come a-knockin'."
I stood up with a grunt, grabb

School began the day after and I still couldn’t erase the large dopey smile from my muzzle. My mind would always drift back to all the little moments of that day after the cross country competition, not to mention Trish’ change back into a human, and the following kiss. My parents found my happiness quite adorable and my brother found it like an object of teasing.
Of course, when I told Trevor I knew that he and Tina were together, he broke down and confessed everything to me. Quite amusing considering I was just making an assumption. Turns out they’ve been dating since the beginning of the semester and enjoyed each other’s company, having many of their tastes in common.
Eventually, I asked if Tina had discovered something regarding Steve, considering that he spent most of the day outside the school. I assumed he already been tested for the taur virus. All I got was “Don’t worry, Marc. I’ll send you an e-mail as soon as I get the offici

Anything and everything for love. The slogan of the hopeless romantic.
Love is strange. Odd. Foreign. Mysterious. Alien.
I had lived in a peaceful neighborhood in Illinois. Single. Happy. Good job. I was a doctor working in the psych ward of a small hospital as a psychiatrist. Life seemed perfect. Just right for a twenty-five year old only a few years out of college.
I never thought anything about me would attract Majestic to me. Them. I always believed I looked average enough, acted like the normal kind of person. Standing five foot four, a bit on the short side, brown hair with eyes to match. Why would someone give me a second glance? I had been told I was pretty; beautiful on occasion. My more selfish side couldn't argue. I did very well in college. I passed Med school with flying colors. But
Melissa's ChangeMelissa leaned onto the fence of the valley enclosure. The high wooden fence encompassed a vast grass valley which extended for just under a square mile. Melissa would take the horses that her family owned out to this valley to get some exercise. She always enjoyed bringing the horse out to pasture because it mean that she got to see them run gracefully in a pack. Ever since she was a little girl Melissa always enjoyed being around horses. She enjoyed riding them as if they were a part of her since was a young age of 6. Being of the age of 23 Melissa still held a job at her parents' horse breeding ranch. She didn't feel the need to go to college because she was just happy enough to be around horses all day. There were times where she wished she was a horse so she could feel as free as a horse did as they galloped across the land in peace.Melissa's Change1 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

“It’s you!” I said in a moment of boldness, pointing at Steve like a detective would cast an accusation on the perpetrator.
There was a long silence as everyone stared at me with unsettled eyes. Surprised by the nature of my accusation, none of them knew what to argue or how to respond to that. I heard a couple of whispers. If I was gonna be preventing things from escalating, I would stick to my hypothesis.
Everyone looked at me in expectation or shock. Lavender, Paul and Josh watched at me with astonished surprise, while at the same time waiting for my explanation. Some of them looked rather impatient as well, the principal of the school, the coach and some of the other competitors. Miss Hawthorne seemed to be looking at me with much interest and curiosity.
A loud chuckle came from Steve. “Now you’re just drawing straws, Marcus. Making wild illogical accusations like that?” He said before laughing and inciting the crowd to do so as well. Few

The loud tune music of the news channel rang into my ears and woke me up in an instant. I was so distracted I failed to notice the subtle contradictions with what I've grown used to, such as using the TV suddenly turning on while I heard no one around or the fact that it was actually the news channels instead of the usual Warner Brothers or Fox.
My first thought was to reach for the remote to try to mute the TV as there was some news about the latest outbreak of the famous 'taur virus.' I only managed to make out those two words. The mention of the disease brought back a couple of flashes to my mind. I could remember seeing the nurse telling to go home, my parents giving a surprised yet scared look on their faces seeing a human looking cat, much like cat taurs tended to look like. Thank goodness everything was just a dream, or so I thought.
My nose twitched as I sniffed the air noticing an odd smell, something I never

Apex clouds converged around the azure mountain of ice. The polar ocean rumbled, somewhere beneath, grappling into the iceberg, gnawing away at its foundations.
Grim, fluttering celestial arc released a blinding sphere of light has from the cloudy grasp. Scorching beams of sunlight smashed into the iceberg with relentless fury and the iceberg screeched in fear of their attack as glittering veins of cobalt and silver pulsated upon its surface. The temperature was rising, as the iceberg drifted south, pushed forward by the slashing wind. The iceberg fought against the warm currents till its last breath, but all was hopeless. An unyielding crack started to crawl across its surface, explosions of cold mist whooshing as the iceberg crumbled, expiring away; connecting with the clouds and the ocean.

I wanted to die of embarrassment. I was in my bedroom, having become what I was taught to avoid, not becoming the target of my parents despise. After having lied that it wasn't anything serious and having them barge into my room only to find the surprise, even more, everyone would sure give me hell for having such a strong position against taurs in school 'I'm screwed' I thought as I stared at them for what seemed like minutes which was actually mere seconds as my Mom's face was that of horror, which translated to a scream while dad's became that of anger.
"Ma-Marcus?" asked my mom, wanting me to shake my head but instead I nodded. Seemed she went light headed as she nearly fainted. Meanwhile, my dad simply looked away; I knew he was mad
"M-Mom," I tried to say reaching for her or my dad but she simply backed as I showed her my hand. My hand covered in black fur with a bit stubbier fingers and claws erected at their tips. Even I was surprised by the sight as I
