The soldiers were dying like flies. And while almost the whole squad died, the only one wound of the enemy was a little bloody scratch on the dragon's right cheek (blow, that should inflict very serious injuries was only small scratch because of the steel-tough scales), what was totally nothing, but only made her more furious. Her and her rider and partner, who felt the stinging pain of his dragoness. His elven sword became red from warm blood of the soldier, who dared to hit the dragon.
Sapphiresenthiss and her rider, Ciaran, defending the river, which separates elven forest from humans, from temerian soldiers. We can see here, that Sapphiresenthiss isn't always a sweet-hearted dragoness, who plays gentle with Scoia'tael For her enemies... she has no mercy. This was first sketched on paper, then redrawed on computer
A random doodle I did today, got an inspiration from this beautiful melody: [link] (just imagine her flying and Iorveth playing that melody on his flute) Sapphiresenthiss during the Blue Moon night over the ocean
A sketch done during dinner, that I scanned and finished on computer. Sapphiresenthiss in the early morning, looking over her and elven kingdom - green, full of life wild mountains. Not that hard to guess why they call her the Queen, huh?
-Do you think, that there is some life on moon? - asked Sapphiresenthiss, raising her head and staring at night sky with her shiny blue eyes. -Of course - replied Ciaran. - Can't you see, that they have the light on there all the night? The dragoness smirked, releasing two wisps of smoke from her nostrils. -I'd like to sit and look at the starry sky just for ages. It's so peaceful and just like we were the only rulers of this world, isn't it? -True. But aren't we already rulers of all the forest and so? - Ciaran yawned so loudly, that his jaw crackled. It was unbelievable. After all this day, when all Scoia'tael were already sleeping, Saphira still had energy to stay awake and look at the stars and moon...
Just a little work of Sapphiresenthiss and her rider and partner, Ciaran aep Easnillien the elf. Inspired by the yesterday night walk, while watching full moon and stars
Decided to do the quick drawing of the whole body of: [link] Sapphiresenthiss, Saphira, The Elven Protector, Sapphire Gleam, fate of all humans who hunt elves, member of Iorveth's elven commando and the dragon of Ciaran aep Easnillen the elf. Enjoying the night alone Heres the little profile that explains her more:
Name: Sapphiresenthiss (or just Saphira, but also called Sor'ca by elves, what means just "sister", the person they like) Age: 18 years old Character: usually sedate, but can be very fierce, can be totally described as "evil on earth" by her enemies. Most beloved person: Ciaran aep Easnillien ([link]) Mate: ... (I'd call Ciaran some kind of her "mate") Friends: Iorveth, Iorveth's commando Likes: wild nature, jungle, reptiles, animals, flying, beautiful views, spending time with elves, sweets, be alone sometimes, harassing Vernon Roche and his people, burn human towns with elves on her side Dislikes: humans, civilization, trying to force her to do something, waking her up with no reason, rats, bunnies Hates: Vernon Roche (and mutually ), humans who hunt and torment elves and animals, destroying nature
During warm peaceful night, when Scoia'tael were enjoying the fire, night and moon Sapphiresenthiss used to tell them stories about ancient reptile creatures, that lived millions of years ago, ruled all the lands and occured in all the shapes, sizes and colors - carnivores and herbivorous and were called dinosaurs. She told the elves that some of them, though herbivorous were dangerous to even the toughtest predators, had claws in a size of the longest blade, the other ones could eat a human in only two bites and others were more than 190 feets longer! Elves were truly interested in those creatures, who, as Sapphiresenthiss affirmed were ancestors of dragons. Even if she got bored of telling them about dinosaurs, it was enough that one of the Scoia'tael accosted "And how was it with the biggest dinosaurs, Saphira?" to make her last her stories without end.
Woah, Sapphiresenthiss is educating the Scoia'tael about dinosaurs! Reminds me of me telling my mom about the most interesting dinosaurs when we are about to sleep Truly indescribable creatures.
