First off, MAGfest was awesome and it was great seeing everybody. It was another great year and tons of fun was had. Tons of great people I got to see again, and meet for the first time, including a bunch of gracious fans (thanks guys)! Played a whole bunch'a games throughout the weekend and was present alongside the BlueCoreStudios folks for three successful screenings of the Sonic film, which I voiced an E-Robot and a certain red guy in. I also had the honor of doing a Voice Acting Panel alongside Duke Nukem, the Sniper, Sheogorath, Moira Brown and Colin Moriarty where we re-enacted the first 20 minutes of Pulp Fiction and then improv'd a video game called "GO FUCK YOURSELF." I was a Robo-Hamster who got shoved up Jon St. John's ass...just watch th

How is Avatar the only cartoon like this?! The original series came out years ago and was a huge success: a family friendly, mature narrative, like any number of live action, fantasy dramas, only animated.
Why has no one copied the formula?! We should be swamped by this kind of goodness!!
As much as I like the visuals of Anime, the narrative usually lost in translation....... or was just crap to begin with.
Western writing combined with Eastern animation techniques (or should that read "slave labour"?) is just brilliant!
Iran has pressure cookers!I'm all for justice and people getting what they deserve and I believe, wholeheartedly, that the (surviving) little toe-rag responsible for the deaths and maiming of innocents should spend the rest of his natural life in some deep, dark Federal sh*thole, surrounded by people that like him as much as those outside….only they have records.Iran has pressure cookers!3 years ago in Personal More Like This
However, I'm also in favour of accuracy. At least as far as claims made by the authorities are concerned, because if they're permitted to mislabel things during a period when emotions are, with good reason, high; they'll use that inaccuracy for their own ends at a later date.
A nuke is a weapon of mass destruction.
A warhead filled with chemical agents that cause people's faces to fall off in their hands is a weapon of mass destruction.
A can filled with explosives and shrapnel is a horrible device, but it is not a "weapon of mass destruction", nor should it have been suggested it was. It implies that most people have the materials required to build a

I don't mind Leo's crush on Karai that much.
I mean, I don't like her character, I never have in any of the turtles universes ( I pretty much always dislike girl characters for some reason ._. I dunno why. ) but I know she and Leo have always had this weird fascination for one another, so it's expected they'd stay constant with that. Plus, yknow... raging teenager hormones and all.
But what really makes me accept it is how perfectly Raph is reacting to it.
God. Damn. Raphie, seriously, I love you so much. Unnnf.
Makes me wonder if Leo'll get all jealous and possessive when Casey comes in and becomes Raph's best buddy. Eeeee.

About the Username Change and the Imeji CheinjiI never believed that name change would exist due to many valid reasons, but yet, they made it. Honestly, I've been wanting to change my name since long time. I'm in no ties or any desire with "Pearl" in any way which I named it when I was quite young. Also that name makes me sick sometimes- so a new name change is going to be a great, refreshing start.About the Username Change and the Imeji Cheinji4 years ago in Personal More Like This
So, yes I do plan to change name yet my icon will remain not changed to keep people to recognize me. And here I want to write a journal about being really careful, be smart and think twice if we decide to change name: to not cause that kind of trend where "Oh I got bored with that name, lemme change onto another" and making a'la Japan's trend of changes known as imeji cheinji.
Firstly, try to imagine, if there is artist (or active watcher, popular artist, active friend or even troller which you dislike etc.) which you admire is known under Crystallox2* (and you probably will notice how many people also call that person as "Crys"

Thinking back, I seem to have misplaced Tuesday. I have no clear memory of what I was doing. I'm guessing: work of some nature.
Must have got a little too caught up in my day-to-day routine and just flown on auto-pilot for a while.
That may be a bad thing......

Or you were, but couldn't do much more than drool on the keyboard and gnaw the mouse like a rusk.
Luckily for you, some die-hard fans have spent the past 8 years using Valve's own tools to lovingly rebuild the legendary locale that Gordon Freeman escaped over a decade ago .
.well, most of it. Xen is missing for now, but that bit was sh*t, so who cares?
Black Mesa will be free to download on the 14th September .which really did surprise me.
When I first heard about the project (a good few years back) I thought Valve themselves would snap up the concept and bundle it in with an "Orange Box 2".
I'm usually opposed to remakes, but the prospect of seeing Half Life 1 rendered in glorious Half Life 2 detail does make the geeky nerves tingle.

Transforming is a tricky thingThis video I found features all the major transforming scenes from all three of the live action Transformers movies, and looking at them, it reminded on one of the first movie's behind the scenes videos and comments that mentioned how extremely difficult it was to figure out how to create this transformation sequences, since it's all about taking a regular car, and from that car use all the parts inside required to turn it into a giant robot. I had heard it was a single person that had to go up to a mathematical level to figure out and create the most believable transformations possible. I had also heard this same person helped with creating the transformations of the bots from Transformers Prime as well.Transforming is a tricky thing2 years ago in Personal More Like This
And this is one reason why I like the movies, yes it's true the movies focuses too much on the human characters, and that the stories are a mess to understand, but I appreciate them not only because of being a transformer fan, but also because I appreciate all the animators and

Deleting Account...? *Edited*Hello everyone! 2013 seemed like such a short year. so much happened withing such a short span of time, but I'm actually quite glad it's over. I have been absent from here for quite some time, being more active on the black hole that is tumblr these days. However, that is not the reason I might be deleting this account. I would like to start fresh here on dA, though I may try to avoid doing so, if I can simply delete deviations and such. I will also be changing my commission prices with a starting price of $200 if I receive any.Deleting Account...? *Edited*2 years ago in Personal More Like This
That sounds very pricey, I know, however, I feel it is in my best interest to do so, since this is my professional rate as of right now. However, I know there are those who wanted commissions from me in the past and for those of you (I know who you are) I will still charge you the initial prices I have had listed. So if you still would like a commission from me, just get in contact with me via note or my tumblr (bloochikin.tumblr.com) and I will

Today is November 29, 2011. It is the day my first novel, Legend, releases in bookstores.
I'm sitting in the little living room of the bungalow I share with my boyfriend, buried under a pile of dogs (I have threetwo corgis and a Chihuahua), and attempting to not hyperventilate into a paper bag. Playing the 'Finding Nemo' theme song on repeat is probably not helping, either. (Could there BE a more depressing theme? I want to bawl every time I hear it. Oh, Nemo! You adorable little gimpy-finned fish egg! Anyway. I digress.) Is it really The Day? How do I
SPECTRE returns.Holy f**k! I didn’t see this one coming! The next James Bond film is called “Spectre”.SPECTRE returns.1 year ago in Personal More Like This
For those not in the know; SPECTRE was the villainous organisation that was constantly trying to trigger World War 3 in the early Bond movies and pretty much every super-villain that 007 was sent out to stop was a member of the SPECTER hierarchy. At the top of this criminal network was the shadowy figure known only as “Number One”, who, after a multi-film build-up, personally introduced himself to Bond (and the audience) during You Only Live Twice as Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
Now, the last anyone saw of Blofeld was when Roger Moore dropped him down a chimney, and SPECTRE was never mentioned again because of an ongoing squabble over ownership of the name. During Daniel Craig’s tenure as Bond, an underworld organisation identical to SPECTRE was hinted at but, disappointingly, named “Quantum”. More disappointingly, despite being really rather goo
Not Gadot! It was announced a few days ago (I’ve been outa the loop and didn’t hear till this morning) that Wonder Woman will be showing up in Man of Steel 2: Batfleck Rises. Not Gadot!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
It’s also been hinted that other familiar faces from the Batman universe will either appear or be referenced.
First concern at this news is that they’re moving too fast. WB are looking enviously at the cash-cow that is The Avengers and are force feeding their own franchise all manner of unhealthy things in an effort to hasten its development.
If they don’t devote the same amount of time to character development as the Marvel films did, the general movie-going audience isn’t going to have a real desire to see a JLA flick as they will simply feel no connection to the characters.
Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America. There were 5 movies before we got to Avengers. It made people invest in the universe that was being presented.
WB doesn’t l

This is your classy ruler here. Now as many may or may not have heard, the back room people of the group have been trying to piece together a definitive story of Neo Robia for you and now after much thought and deliberation, we have decided the best media in order to provide you of this is in the form of a Radio Drama!
Over the last month we have started to alter the existing scripts we have to make it more “audio friendly” so that it will be more fulfilling once you listen to it, but in the mean time, everyone’s favourite alcoholic skunk has written a mini teaser trailer in order to help advertise the Radio Drama.
This is where you come in! We will need to fill some of the roles in order to create the radio drama and who better to ask is the fans of Neo Robia.
These are the roles that are available, as well as the audition
Storm's coming!Being perched on the edge of the Atlantic, Fair Blighty gets insane weather. You can have rain, snow, gales and blazing sunshine, all in the space of an hour.Storm's coming!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
This means the weather reports are generally more guesswork than anything else. However, every now and then something appears on their radar that's a little too big to get wrong. SOMETHING is going to sweep over the country in the next 48 hours. Could be just a big blob of cloud that dumps a little rain, or it could be a 1987 level storm that flattens everything.
Either way, I live in the middle of its path (in a sturdy, brick building on high but sheltered ground, thankfully).
BatfleckIt's....it's like they WANT it to fail....Batfleck2 years ago in Personal More Like This
They're going in the right direction, by making Batman an older, more experienced hero (told you it was a good idea!), but they've cast the wrong guy.
Now there's nothing wrong with Ben Affleck. People badmouth his acting, but I've never had a problem with it. He can also do the super-hero thing. The problem with Daredevil was the script, not the casting. Affleck did a fine job as Matt Murdock, given the tripe he had to work with. He just isn't Batman/Bruce Wayne, though.
On the Keaton-Clooney Scale, he's a full-on George.
He'd make a much better Superman than he would a Batman. He's even played Superman before.....well, he played a guy that played Superman (Hollywoodland, 2006).
The actor I'd have loved to see take the role of the Bat is Jeffrey Dean Morgan. He plays a relentless, gri

DeviantArt Policies Do Not Work apparentlyI'm getting sick and tired of this guy Ace,DeviantArt Policies Do Not Work apparently3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Seriously, seriously sick... and I'm REALLY trying to figure out his motives... Or if he has any, or if he's just an idiot.
Frankly, I'm more sick and tired of DeviantArt's leniency about reporting violations.
Since last week, I've been reporting this guy over and over again and he keeps posting my "deleted" artwork (which, by the way, isn't deleted, you just have to look for it. Hence, he's an IDIOT!)
But to put the nail on the coffin, he's posting them with outright rage against me and... whoever else, I don't understand. If he likes my work so much, why's be being such a (as Patton Oswalt would put it) douche-nozzle?!? He's even ATTACKED my girlfriend since I blocked him, and now he's noting OTHERS to get to HER to get to ME... I am seriously NOT shocked people like this are alive in this world, let alone have a computer, but this has to stop, and I'm through playing passive-aggressive about it.
